I have been working in clinical veterinary care for 4 years now. As I'm going back to school to complete my vet tech license, I'm looking for more flexible work that can still fulfill my love for working with animals and providing them care. Having worked in many different kinds of veterinary clinics, including overnight in patient care, I can provide high levels of care even to pets with medical needs. I am comfortable administering all kinds of medication, even to difficult pets, and am comfortable with injections and glucose checks. I can also handle bath times, nail trims, ear cleanings and more! If you need assistance with any of those things, I'm also happy to come help. Simply book as a drop in. I believe deeply in meeting pets where they're at, and learning each pets unique ways of communication and their preferences to make them as comfortable and happy as they can be.

Erin was incredible! My little guy is so shy and nervous when I'm not around but she flawlessly followed his lead and earned his trust within just a few days! Every day she sent me a detailed report that I looked forward to reading, and I came home to a lovely note and a truly happy kitty. She is my permanent cat sitter from now on, I couldn't have asked for better care.
Erin has been wonderful start to finish. I have a very anti social cat who we’ve struggled to find a reliable for. Erin having prior vet tech experience made her the perfect pairing to our difficult cat. She’s also been very communicative and reassuring during the process and will book again with her in the future.

Erin really went above and beyond for us. Just before we were about to take a long planned vacation, one of our kitties came down with a virus and required multiple medications, including IV fluids. We were so grateful to have found her profile. She is an expert cat sitter, with the background as a vet tech and was able to administer all the medications as needed while we were gone. Also, she kept our house was in tiptop shape. Best of all, when we came home and our sick kitty was back to being himself. We couldn’t have asked for more. Although we don’t have dogs, I’m sure that Erin provides the same expert care for them as well. We will be having her back for sure.
Very experienced with reading dog body language, followed instructions well. Got along great with my large reactive rescue.
She did great with my pup as always, I definitely recommend Erin!

Schedule
I am going to school primarily online, so I have a very flexible schedule to attend to clients' pets needs, whenever they may arise or be required.

I meet all pets where they're at! I believe all animals' boundaries should be respected, and I try to learn them up front. I have 3 cats, all with different feeding needs, and an elderly dog, so I'm a master at juggling difficult feeding times and home zoos in general.

I love coming up with clever and fun enrichment for both dogs and cats. Each pet is different, with different likes and interests, and I'll curtail our activities to what excites them!
