“This is the second time we’ve booked with Melissa, and she’s been awesome both times. Diggity loves her and is always super calm and happy when she’s around. She sends us great pictures, and it’s clear he’s comfortable and well taken care of. Definitely recommend her if you’re looking for someone reliable and caring!”

“I have a modified automated cat feeder and a few smart home setups that I was worried would be too intricate to explain to someone else, but Heather handled everything perfectly; she absolutely went above and beyond! She was very responsive and sent lots of updates and pictures while I was away. I'm planning another trip soon and will certainly book with her again!”

“Barb has been watching my two cats for several years. I'm always pleased. Even though they are tremendously shy she has finally gotten them to come out of cover at least for a little while. A major accomplishment!”

About: About Me I’ve been watching animals of all kinds for over 10 years. From dogs and cats to chickens, ducks, and even hedgehogs! I love and treat each and every one of them as my own. My Schedule I’m currently going back to school for nursing. Aside from classes/clinical a few hours a week I’m home full time. This allows me more time with your little love! *My clinicals are typically half days, so if there is a particular day I marked unavailable, please send me a message, we may be able to work something out.* My Home I live off of a private road on 1.6 acres. My backyard is completely fenced with plenty of trees and nature. This allows for a SAFE environment for your fur baby to run/exercise, play, and lots of sniffing for mental stimulation. What to Expect I treat all animals as my own and ensure play and exercise is part of our routine. I have also have two large dogs who love to play. Photos/videos and activity descriptions are sent regularly to ensure you feel connected to your fur baby! *please let me know if your fur baby has any special limitations at our meet and greet so I can do my best to accommodate them.* I love animals more than people, and will ensure to treat your little love like royalty! I’m a nursing student so I have a pretty open schedule aside from classes! I have a VERY large fenced back yard and two very friendly doggos who love to play! All play is supervised and (because of my nursing background), I’ll check your babies frequently to ensure no fleas, ticks, etc.

About: My whole life I have had dogs. When I was little a yellow lab, and now a very large charcoal lab, his name is Finn in my profile picture, he’s my best bud. Also added another furry friend to our mix, a red golden retriever, her name is Sadie. I also have four cats, one big orange tabby, a calico, and two black cats. My heart is full of love for animals and I would treat yours like my own. I dog sit for my grandparents as well, and friends as needed. I had the honor of helping train my grandmas dog and Finn as well. Simple things like learning to sit and stay but still important! I am currently home for the summer from college. I attend Ferris State and will return in the fall. So, I am just looking for a part time gig for the summer! Besides one vacation in June I am completely free for all potty breaks, walks, etc during the week. I have two dogs at home if a stay at my home is needed, I have leads available for use as well. We also have a fairly large crate used for our golden when she was a puppy, so your pet can be crated if necessary! My pups are very friendly and would love the extra company! I also have no problem staying at a clients home if that makes things easier! I have reliable transportation and have an SUV to take the pups to the park or anything like that! I often take my dogs with me to the store when I can and sometimes stop for a pup cup.

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and love playing with them. I’ve been working as a farm hand for 3 years now and love animal caretaking (even all the cleaning). I have experience with senior dogs as well as dogs with various disabilities. I am a farm hand at an organic, no-slaughter farm here in Ann Arbor. I love working with animals and typically work a split shift, working in the early morning getting the animals out to pasture, and a night shift getting everyone to bed. I have two dogs, a border collie and a jack russell mix! I grew up with dogs, I have experience with larger farm animals, and experience pet sitting for cats. I’m happy to have to animals sleep separately or with me, depending on your preference. I love taking them for walks and playing fetch! I have experience working with animals with special needs/disabilities, as well as special diets.
“Autumn was excellent at communicating and sending photos and updates of our cat while we were gone. She followed directions perfectly and our cat was calm and happy when we got home.”

About: Rya & I just move to Elkhart in October. Allow me to take care of your four legged friend. Your dog will enjoy running and lounging in the open areas. After plenty of fresh air and outdoor exercise he will enjoy a sleepy snooze on one of the many cozy spots that he will find in a quiet home. Take the stress away from leaving your loving pet and let me take care of him while you are away.I like to do a " meet and greet" to see how the dog gets along with me and my own dogs. I do not have a breed preference. Of course I would like to know if the dog has any health concerns or behaviors I should know about, the dog's. My daily routine is wake up let animals outside. Then feed. Then I take care of myself. Relax, go for a long walk with them or run. I am free most days and weeks. I have 30 acres of fence in yard. I have a horse pasture I made it where the dogs can't get out they also have a indoor area where they can relax in shade. And water 24/7.
About: I absolutely adore all animals, especially dogs! I have been caring for and house sitting dogs of all breeds since I was 15 years old. Throughout my experience, I have cared for both puppies and senior dogs making sure to adapt to each dog's unique personality and needs. I have grown up and lived with dogs my entire life, so I understand the importance of providing them with love, attention, and exercise. I am highly attentive, reliable, and committed to satisfying both the pet’s and owner’s needs. I am currently a student; however, I have a very flexible schedule, and can tailor my schedule towards the needs of my clients. I can work weekends. I am a focused and hard worker and will make sure your pet is cared for to the best of my ability. I love all animals and want to make sure that their needs are met through exercise, love, and care.
About: Dogs have always been in the family since I was 8 and my dog’s name is Riley. He’s a German shepherd mix. He’s been my running buddy for years. I like to go on walks and runs and would love bring some buddies along with me! I can also bring any dogs that require a bit more exercise to the dog park for some runs. I have fenced yard with plenty of space for runs and a ranch style home for any older pups who don’t like to climb stairs.
“Rachel was great! Not only did she love on my babies like they were her own, but her and her daughter were very calming for my babes. Rachel sent LOTS of photos and was very loving towards my babies! I will definitely be using Rachel again🩷”

“Michelle is amazing! We had some time off so haven’t needed her services recently but she just started helping us out again. Our pup loves her and she always has great communication and the best photos!”

“Fatima was great! She took amazing care of our little cat Alfred and left us detailed notes after each of her visits with him. We have full trust and appreciation of Fatima’s caring expertise.”

About: Hi! I have been fostering dogs for shelters and rescues over the past 5 years. I previously lived in NYC, where I fostered 7 dogs through local shelters and rescue organizations. After relocating to Ann Arbor, I became a foster with Friends for Animals of Metro Detroit (FAMD). All of my foster dogs have successfully found loving forever homes. I have experience caring for adult dogs of all sizes and personalities. Spending time with dogs has been one of the most rewarding experiences for me, and I truly enjoy providing them with a safe and loving environment. I am currently working as a part-time piano teacher, which gives me a flexible schedule. I am available on most Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and weekends I live in a quiet apartment with a calm environment. The community is very dog-friendly and has plenty of green space for walks and outdoor time. I believe every dog has different needs and personalities, so I would love to communicate with you as much as possible to understand your dog’s routine, preferences, and comfort level. I always try to follow their normal schedule as closely as possible to help them feel safe and relaxed. I am also happy to travel to your home and care for your furry friend there if that would be the best and most comfortable option for them.

Whitmore Lake dog parents share their Rover experiences
Grace did such an amazing job with our dog and two cats! She was always so timely in her drop ins, and kept us very informed on how everyone was doing. We really appreciate that she was able to sit for us fairly last minute as well. She made our pets feel loved and safe and we couldn't have asked for more!

Sharin is phenomenal! Absolutely could not be happier with a Pet Sitter. The loving and attentive care she gave to our elderly fur baby was top-notch! She spent a great amount of time with him, quickly learned his needs and his wishes and adapted to best accommodate him. Top notch communication & pictures. I would recommend Sharon in a heartbeat and we will definitely book with her again.
