“From the first meeting, Arden was very professional. She came prepared with a list of questions to make sure our cat was well taken care of. She was on time and communicated with us at every visit. Would definitely recommend!”

“Sarah was punctual and very reliable. She provided detailed daily updates on litter cleaning, feeding, and playtime, along with plenty of photos and videos. My cat can be a bit shy, but Sarah was patient and clearly comfortable caring for her. Communication was excellent throughout the five days I was away. I would definitely book her again!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up on a farm, and at one point we had 12 indoor dogs, from tiny Yorkies to Great Danes. They were never “just pets” to us; they were family, and that’s how I’ve always believed animals should be treated. I’ve also cared for cats and have experience dog sitting, so I’m comfortable looking after pets with different personalities, routines, and needs. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll care for yours the same way I’d care for my own. I take classes two days a week and spend the rest of my time at home, so I have a flexible schedule and can give pets plenty of attention and care. I'm also available most weekends, making it easy to accommodate a variety of pet care needs. I always make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for by following their usual routine as closely as possible. I'll follow all feeding, medication, and exercise instructions provided by the owner and make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I don't have any pets of my own at the moment, so I truly enjoy spending time with animals and giving them the love and companionship they deserve. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
“Jennifer was great with our Golden retriever, Moon! He immediately liked her on a meet and greet. On the day Jennifer was watching him at our house she sent lots of photos of what Moon was doing and wrote a detailed message on how the visit went. It was nice to see Moon enjoying himself and engaged in activities. We will absolutely use Jennifer again!”

About: I have loved and cared for animals my entire life. Growing up in a pet-friendly household, I learned from a very young age what it takes to keep dogs and cats healthy, safe, and happy. Over the years, family, friends, and neighbors have consistently relied on me to watch their homes and care for their pets while they are away. I have hands-on experience with a wide variety of breeds and personalities—from high-energy pups who need long, engaging walks, to senior pets who require a gentle touch and strict adherence to a medication routine. Because I am focusing entirely on building my Rover business right now, your pet will have my dedicated attention. I pride myself on being incredibly reliable, clean, and communicative. I know how tough it can be to leave your pets behind, so I love sending frequent photo and text updates to give you total peace of mind! My schedule is highly flexible and open throughout the week! Because I work independently on a flexible basis, pet care is my top priority. I am available for overnight house sitting, daytime walks, and drop-in visits. This open availability means I can easily adapt to your pet's exact feeding, potty, and exercise routines without having to rush off to a strict 9-to-5 job. As someone who has loved and cared for animals my entire life, your pet's safety and comfort are always my highest priorities. When staying at your home, I strictly follow your house rules and routine guidelines. I am incredibly respectful of your space, keeping it clean and secure. I also understand how important communication is, so I make sure to send regular text updates and photos so you always know your pet is safe, happy, and in great hands.
“Stephanie was a great cat sitter! I’m grateful that she was patient when caring for my two cats who are still getting used to each other. She was also very good about communication, both in planning the visit and letting me know how my cats were doing during the visit.”

“Sofia helped us out at the last minute and we couldn’t have been more thrilled with finding her! She was responsive and communicative and clearly enjoyed spending time with our dogs. We look forward to using her in the future.”

“10000/10!✨ getting married in another state, gone for 4 days & 4 cats, plus one who medicated twice a day & she was there everyday, updates with tons of photos, she’s so sweet & made me feel so relaxed leaving all my babies with her. I would highly recommend her 🤍 I will be using her again”

“Very conscientious and a pet lover. Even held one of my guinea pigs. Spent sufficient time giving affection and playing my very lonely attention-starved cats as well. Report cards were detailed and photos are adorable. Highly recommended.”

About: Currently not a pet owner and missing the company of a furry friend! My family included dogs and cats growing up and I have years of experience being a nanny to children and pets (Great Danes, doodles, dachshunds, golden retriever, etc). I work part time hours as a remote mental health therapist at home so my schedule is flexible. I love to go for walks during the day. I live in a condo that is in a safe and walkable neighborhood. I keep my home clean and comfortable and have a reliable car.

About: Hi! I’m Patty… a nurse and devoted animal lover!! I have two cats of my own.. Calvin, who is 10, and my 3 year old who still has the energy of a kitten, so I’m very used to caring for different personalities and energy levels. I’ve also spent years volunteering at local animal shelters, walking dogs and caring for animals, so I’m comfortable with pets of all temperaments. I currently went back to work at the hospital, but I do have a significant amount of weekdays off and typically every weekend. Whether your dog loves long walks, trips to the park, or just some extra attention and companionship, I’m happy to tailor care to what they enjoy most. I’m based near the Plymouth/Canton area, with access to great walking trails, dog parks, and even a local dog bakery for a fun treat (with your approval, of course!). I treat every pet like my own and am happy to send photo and video updates so you always feel connected. I’d love to meet your furry family member! I’m currently off for a few months, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your dog or cat attention and care. I’m available for drop-in visits throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings. I can be consistent with feeding times, litter box cleaning, and check-ins, and I’m happy to accommodate specific routines to keep your cat or dog comfortable while you’re away. I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every pet in their own home. I follow your instructions closely for feeding schedules, medications if needed, potty routines, walks, and litter box care. I pay close attention to each pet’s behavior and personality, whether they’re energetic and social or more shy and independent and adjust my approach to make them feel secure. With my background in healthcare, I’m very attentive, reliable, and detail oriented. I’ll keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you can feel confident your pet is well cared for while you’re away.
About: A first few things about me: 1. I've taken care of my neighbors pets ever since I was in middle school 2. I am a graduate student at MSU looking for some money on the side 3. I am very communicative over Rover with my clients I have lots of experience with big dogs and can handle pulling from them (my big Pyrenees/shepherd mix does the same). I've always had dogs in my life, and have played an active role in their care. I have been doing Rover since my time in NY undergrad, and look forward to having more clients now that I am in Michigan. I live in Holt, work in East Lansing, and spend a good chunk of time in Novi, so depending on your location I can flex as needed. One plus-I am a clean freak and will clean my repeat clients' homes while I am around so you can return to a clean space. Last minute bookings often work with me, so don't hesitate to shoot me a message. I always do meet and greets before booking for both sides' safety, and if an initial booking doesn't work out, I would love to meet for future care coverage. I run frequently, so if your dog has a lot of energy, I'm your gal. I will be doing research during the week on campus, but I am willing to be flexible and see what works according to client needs. I can travel to give walks given that I have my car here, and can go home during lunch on weekdays for potty breaks. I currently live in a house with a fenced in yard and can welcome your pet in or go to yours to take care of them. I always positively enforce my dog at home to make him feel safe, as he is a rescue that needs extra care considering he has some trauma.
About: I am great with dogs and cats. They always trust me right away and just want to play with me. Don’t take my word though, look through my happy customers! I am recently graduated from college and only have some part time work now so very open schedule. Also if you want me to teach your dog anything I can try! I have a whistle and treats that I have been successful with in the past. I love to sit with the dogs and hang out, go on walks with other dogs, and play fetch for the high energy dogs. Of course older dogs and cats will get some less physically demanding attention.
“From pictures Manal sent to me, I could tell both of my cats were happy when I was traveling. She has perfectly followed the instructions I asked. I am very grateful that I have found her. Highly recommended. Will ask her to take care of my cats again when I have to travel :) :) :)”

About: I’m a ceramic artist, art teacher, and passionate animal lover. I have two wonderful dogs, Chispa and Puggy, who love meeting new furry friends. With years of experience caring for my own pets, I understand how important it is to feel confident that your pets are in good hands. Whether it’s a walk, a playdate, or just some company while you’re away, I’ll treat your pets like part of the family! Pets always come first in my home. I love taking my dogs on hikes, walks, and puppy playdates. I live in a dog-friendly complex with a park and have a small, private fenced yard and terrace—perfect for sunbathing pups! If your dog needs a bath, I’m happy to give them a scrub in the tub. I’m also known for making homemade dog treats. Let me spoil your dog with lots of love and care! I work from home full-time, so your dog will receive constant attention and care throughout their stay. We only board small to medium-sized dogs (under 40 pounds), but I’m happy to discuss any special exceptions. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities!

Kelsey was amazing! She took such good care of Rico, shared pictures, and gave him lots of snuggles. We lost power at our house while we were away, and not only did Kelsey keep us updated on the temperature and make sure Rico was comfortable - she even reported the outage on our behalf! We will definitely contact her for future dog sitting needs and would absolutely recommend her to anyone else. Thank you, Kelsey!

Charles was great and God sent. I made a last min request for a drop in visit and had never use Rover. Charles was open to a meet and greet same day and Tya absolutely loved him at first meet. The connection was made and my heart was settled. Looking forward to future services from Charles!

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
