“My first time using Rover. Have a Corgi and Havanese and needed someone to let them out once a day during the work week, a reoccurring schedule.Andrew responded quickly to set up a meet and greet. MEET & GREET - The Havanese is more hesitant and nervous. As soon as Andrew came through the door she was right there at his legs. We went outside with the dogs where we spoke about Rover and he interacted with both dogs. They were surrounding and running around for him to play. We eventually came back inside. We sat in family room and both dogs were still wanting to play with him. The Havanese was on his lap and ready to give kisses. ONE WEEK of SERVICE - more than I expected. Andrew always on time, fed them, always commented on what ladies did during potty break, cleaned up after them and he played with them. He calls them furry tornadoes. I laugh as they are busy bodies. I am VERY happy with my experiences with Andrew. I feel fortunate to have him for the ongoing weekly occurrences.”

“Jenny was very reliable, communicative, and easy to work with. I’m a bit of an anxious cat mom and she was very nice and patient with me. She took care of the basics and played with my cat for even a few minutes longer than the requested time of one hour and provided pictures. I didn’t worry about my cat at all while I was gone. Thank you Jenny!”

“Edimari is extremely sweet and professional when it comes to taking care of your pup! She helped me on short notice when I was leaving the country, and helped keep my anxious dog happy and healthy while I was gone. She went above and beyond for me doing drop in visits while also ensuring my house was in order. She is reliable, punctual and had great communication while I was away. I could not be more happy with the service she provided!! Thank you again Edimari and I will definitely be booking you again.”

“Wow! What an amxifn person and dog sitter. She is through and thoughtful. We really appreciated her attention to care and detail. We are feeling much more comfortable to take more trips out of the country. With out hesitation we would book her again!”

“Arden did a wonderful job taking care of our cats while we were out of town. She is clearly an animal lover and went above and beyond what was necessary, taking the time to get to know our cats, make them feel comfortable with her, and even spent time playing with them. She is an excellent communicator and was very patient when I caused some issues with her access to our house. She was even nice enough to bring some packages in for us. Arden will be our first choice for a pet sitter going forward!”

“Jennifer was great with our Golden retriever, Moon! He immediately liked her on a meet and greet. On the day Jennifer was watching him at our house she sent lots of photos of what Moon was doing and wrote a detailed message on how the visit went. It was nice to see Moon enjoying himself and engaged in activities. We will absolutely use Jennifer again!”

“NIck is the BEST! SO flexible and accomodating with last minute change of plans and needs due to work. He went up and beyond, my very active 1-year old lab was happy and tired form playing - even though it was raining/storming outside and they couldn't go for a walk. Ryder had a little attitude when I got home, like "So I have my own friends now, and I'm very cool". Too funny.”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up on a farm, and at one point we had 12 indoor dogs, from tiny Yorkies to Great Danes. They were never “just pets” to us; they were family, and that’s how I’ve always believed animals should be treated. I’ve also cared for cats and have experience dog sitting, so I’m comfortable looking after pets with different personalities, routines, and needs. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll care for yours the same way I’d care for my own. I take classes two days a week and spend the rest of my time at home, so I have a flexible schedule and can give pets plenty of attention and care. I'm also available most weekends, making it easy to accommodate a variety of pet care needs. I always make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for by following their usual routine as closely as possible. I'll follow all feeding, medication, and exercise instructions provided by the owner and make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I don't have any pets of my own at the moment, so I truly enjoy spending time with animals and giving them the love and companionship they deserve. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.

About: I used to have a golden retriever for about 8 years. I have taken care (fed, walked, let out for bathroom, played with, etc.) of family and friends’ dogs as well. I am a substitute teacher currently looking to care for pets starting during the school year. Monday-Sunday at any time usually works for me. I am very flexible! I can easily feed, walk, play, and take care of pets’ needs! I can also change litter boxes. I can handle instructions and any accommodations pets may have.
“Bethany wasn't in the house more than five minutes before my cat Karma was trying to crawl in her lap! I could tell how much she loves cats and that she would take great care of mine. And she did! Would highly recommend!”

“Erin was amazing! This was my first time using a sitter for my cats- she was sweet, reliable, and always answered right away. She was consistent and sent me lots of photos of my cats during her visits. I came home to happy pets! I will absolutely reach out to her again if I need someone and will recommend her to anyone I know needing a pet sitter!”

“Kelsey was amazing! She took such good care of Rico, shared pictures, and gave him lots of snuggles. We lost power at our house while we were away, and not only did Kelsey keep us updated on the temperature and make sure Rico was comfortable - she even reported the outage on our behalf! We will definitely contact her for future dog sitting needs and would absolutely recommend her to anyone else. Thank you, Kelsey!”

“Melanie was terrific with my 2 year old German Shepard pitbull mix. She was great with communication and pictures. Would highly recommend and will be reaching out to her again!”

“Sarah was punctual and very reliable. She provided detailed daily updates on litter cleaning, feeding, and playtime, along with plenty of photos and videos. My cat can be a bit shy, but Sarah was patient and clearly comfortable caring for her. Communication was excellent throughout the five days I was away. I would definitely book her again!”

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, caring for four dogs and a cat, so being around pets has always been second nature to me. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your dog, whether it’s for a walk, check-in, or overnight care. I’m reliable, patient, and genuinely enjoy spending time with animals of all sizes and personalities. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away, and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. I am home for the summer and have availability up to August. I will be working part time and will have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I have a friendly 6 year old dog at home with many toys beds and crates. i am experienced, as i’ve been pet sitting for the past two years and grew up with 5 pets.
About: Currently not a pet owner and missing the company of a furry friend! My family included dogs and cats growing up and I have years of experience being a nanny to children and pets (Great Danes, doodles, dachshunds, golden retriever, etc). I work part time hours as a remote mental health therapist at home so my schedule is flexible. I love to go for walks during the day. I live in a condo that is in a safe and walkable neighborhood. I keep my home clean and comfortable and have a reliable car.

“Austin took great care of our pups while we were away for the evening. They were fed right on time and seemed to enjoy his company. Lots more guilt-free day trips in our future!”

Charles was great and God sent. I made a last min request for a drop in visit and had never use Rover. Charles was open to a meet and greet same day and Tya absolutely loved him at first meet. The connection was made and my heart was settled. Looking forward to future services from Charles!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
