“Andrew was great! Updates with photos twice a day. Friendly and kind, and took great care of my pup Walter. I would be interested in having Andrew as a sitter again for sure. Thank you!”

“JoAnn took excellent care of our Yorkie Poodle. There was frequent feedback about his stay and how he was doing including pictures and videos every few hours which made us not worry about him while we were on vacation. He got more care than at home when we are normally busy with our work. He looked comfortable in JoAnn's house and looked happy to hang out with other dogs. We would definitely book again when needed in future.”

“Jenna and family were perfect for our Aussilier Charli. We received pictures and updates throughout her 5 day stay. Our Charli came home happy, exhausted and a little more spoiled than she already is! 😊. We definitely recommend Jenna and will use her services again for our next travel.”

“YiTing is a wonderful care sitter! She kept me updated every day and always let me know if she had any concerns about my little Shih Tzu, such as when she wasn’t eating well. She sent me pictures regularly and even discovered what toys she liked to play with—without me having to say anything! This was my first time leaving my dog with her, and I felt very reassured. I will definitely book her again for my next trip.”

“Wonderful experience with Alia & Ian. Nugget came back happy and relaxed. Great communication and genuine care. She’s already looking forward to her next visit!”

“Debbie did a great job in taking care of my dog. She took care of Oreo as her own. She takes Oreo to groomer also when needed. I had to postpone my return date and she was very helpful and flexible in modifying the stay.I will definitely recommend Debbie.”

“My sitter Miranda takes a great care of my cat Foster, He loves being at her place. To the point that each visit he just walks in and feel safe and is familiar to him. So Nice and it's so pleasant . I'll constitute to book with Miranda again in a heartbeat! Thank you!”

“Amie and her family are absolutely wonderful!! They took just incredible care of my little Kaju. Sent me pictures to tell me about everything she had been up to…cannot say enough nice things about her. Thank you SO MUCH, Amie! Looking forward to many many more OG Kaju’s stays with you 🥰”
“My husband and I just got a new puppy, we had to go out of the state for the weekend, so we decided to use Rover app to book for a sitter that could take good care of our puppy. Dana and her husband did an amazing job at taking care of our dog, she went out of her way to make him feel good. Our doggy was having some trouble getting used to his new environment and he wasn’t eating, we left worried but Dana did such a good job that for the next morning our puppy was feeling a lot more comfortable with the environment. I definitely recommend her. She will take good care of your dog.”
“Could not recommend Stephanie & Brenton more!! They took amazing care of our Golden Retriever, Max. We loved getting daily pictures and updates without even having to ask for them. We felt comfortable that he was being loved on and very well taken care of the whole week that we were gone. Would use them again in a heartbeat!”
“Our lab husky was with Holland for almost 3 weeks while we were on an international trip. She was great with communication. Our dog was safe and happy when we got him back :)”

“Megan did a great job taking care of my baby while I was gone on a vacation for the long weekend. I received daily updates, pictures and videos of my dog playing with her puppy. She also bathed him and kept him in comfort during the Father’s Day fireworks. I am beyond impressed, thankful and appreciative to her love towards the fur babies!!”

“This was our first time using a pet sitter on Rover, and Christina made the experience wonderful! She was quick and easy to book on semi-short notice. Her communication was great, and she kept us updated throughout the week with pictures of our pup. We will definitely plan to use Christina for all our future pet sitting needs!”

“Walter had his second stay with Holly and her family. We received detailed reports and pictures of how he was doing. Holly goes above and beyond in her care for him, even letting him sleep in her bed and putting down extra rugs because he developed a new fear of wood floors. We can’t say enough good things about Holly. We are thankful to have found her and highly recommend her.”

About: I've had both cats and dogs as family members for many years. Now I currently love my family and friends' pets as if they were my own. I currently work in the office 4 days per week but can leave after 4 hours and be home around noon. I'm a home body so I'm comfortable snuggling and spending playtime with your pets. I usually watch my friends and family's pets in the comfort of their own homes. I often have their pets at my home as well but usually for short periods, though sometimes overnight. I usually initiate playtime and welcome snuggling.
“Tara and her family were great! I felt very comfortable leaving my dog with them. She sent me daily photo and video updates, and was very accessible to communicate with. I felt like my dog was in excellent care. I didn't worry about my dog at all and was able to relax and enjoy my trip knowing he was in good hands. I felt like I found my Rover go-to person with Tara and will definitely be booking with her again.”

About: I’m a retired woman that has 30 years of pet care experience. I have raised two dogs and one cat. I have experience with chow chows, cats, and a west highland terrier. Since I am older now, I prefer smaller dogs that I can control while out on walks. My dog passed away 7 years ago and I miss having an animal around to take care of. My schedule is open for animal care since I am retired. My only commitments are my home duties such as cleaning, cooking, and weekly shopping. For boarding, I offer care in my suburban home. I live in a nice neighborhood with many trails and parks nearby. There is enough room in the house for dogs to move around and run if they need.

Christina took care of our pup for the first time recently. My husband was having a procedure. The time changed and she adjusted her schedule to help us out! Our Pup was a little nervous and timid. She went out of her way to help him relax. She sent pics and kept us informed on how he was doing. He even had a pup cup! I’d recommend Christina to care for your pet. She’s very kind. Responding quickly, and did a wonderful job for us!

Miranda was so easy to work with and really helped me out! We were moving from several states away and had to board two cats and two dogs, and Miranda took care of them with no problems at all. She was able to provide medications the dogs needed. Miranda and her roommate were just so incredibly helpful. Can't thank them enough!

Jacqueline provided exceptional care for Millie and Monty on very short notice, showing outstanding flexibility when we had an unexpected family issue. She arranged a meet-and-greet the day after we reached out online, putting us at ease with her friendly manner and attentiveness. Throughout the stay, Jacqueline kept our dogs comfortable and happy, and we appreciated her warm approach. We highly recommend Jacqueline to anyone searching for a reliable and compassionate caregiver for their furry family members

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
