“This was our first time using a pet sitter on Rover, and Christina made the experience wonderful! She was quick and easy to book on semi-short notice. Her communication was great, and she kept us updated throughout the week with pictures of our pup. We will definitely plan to use Christina for all our future pet sitting needs!”

“Just picked up our Sammy spaniel and Luna doodle after they spent 5 nights at Holly's, and indeed we could see the dogs loved her and the family who are all very kind and loving. Holly is VERY dog-intuitive, a caregiving person, who also has a lovely home in a country setting. Highly recommend!!”

“Brenda is awesome. We were hesitant to leave our Millie for so long but Brenda made us feel comfortable right away. She and her hubby took great care of her. Millie gets along well with her dog, too.”

“We are so grateful for Jenna watching Maya and Hubert! She took excellent care of them both and treated them with such love. Our one dog enjoyed his stay so much, I don't think he wanted to leave when we picked them up :). Jenna sent pictures and brief updates during their stay, which was so appreciated. Would highly recommend Jenna and we would definitely use her again!”

“Anthony is now for sure one of Maya's favorite uncles. He kept sending us photos of Maya during the whole stay every day, and the more particular thing you can see that all the dogs are having a wonderful time there. He also help us with a skin rash that she had on her belly and making sure she got better. Definetly coming back even just for day care so she can continue to have all that fun with all her furry friends.”

“Amazing family, amazing dog loving people.. My puppy stayed overnight and was so happy with his stay.. They have a great tolerant dog that was playing and keeping my puppies company.. Will definetly use again.. Very highly recommended”

“Super kind and communicated with an update once a day. Definitely recommend to anyone that needs help with their four-legged family member. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again for future dog-sitter needs.”

“Lynn was very professional and you can tell she is passionate about dogs in general. Her home was warm and inviting which made it easier to leave my older pet with her. I will definitely ask her to watch our dog again.”

“Highly recommend Patty! She gave our slightly anxious, very large dog a great week and took care of him like her own! She also sent pics of him while we were gone- loved to be able to see how he was doing!!”

“Sunita is very conscientious on the care of my pup and I greatly appreciated it! From taking my dog on daily walks to making sure our Benny was loved and comforted, while being separated from his humans. Sunita was very kind & caring during the stressful time of traveling. I strongly recommend Sunita for any pet care! She gave us such peace of mind while we were away. Also, knowing our pup was in loving, and great hands was a comfort! Thank you so much, Sunita! ?”

“Nicholas was so kind and patient with my 4 month old puppy. I was nervous leaving her for 5 days but Nicholas sent me pictures everyday and kept me updated. My pup bonded instantly with Nicholas’ dog, AJ, who was so careful and patient with her. Would 100% recommend.”

“Wonderful job they made Juneau feel right at home. She enjoyed it so much that she was looking for her new friends. I'm so glad that I chose Aaron because I could see that they really took care of my baby.”

“Good communication, sent lots of pictures and updates throughout. Helpful and flexible with coordinating drop off and pick up times. Was really good and caring for our dog, who is elderly, needs a little bit extra attention.”

“Thoughts? Changes? We had a great experience with Sarah! She took excellent care of our dogs at her home, and they returned happy and well-cared for. Her updates with photos were also great. The only surprise was a $100 cancellation fee, which we weren’t aware of, when we had adjusted the dates a week before, especially after being told we could modify the dates. While it wasn’t a dealbreaker, it would’ve been helpful to know upfront. Overall, we’re still happy with her service and will definitely book again!”

“Our two dogs stayed at Melonie's house for apx 1 week and it seemed like they had a great time! They got along great with her two dogs as well. Flexible pick up and drop off and her partner was also very friendly as well.”

“Michele was great! She took great care of my Molly. Above and beyond. She sent pictures during the time she had Molly. Great communication! I highly recommend Michele! Tip her generously!”

“Stephanie and Brenton took wonderful care of my pup, Rosie! From the meet n' greet to the end of our trip, they frequently communicated with us. The daily pics and updates gave me peace of mind knowing Rosie was happy and settled at their home while we were away. It warmed my heart to see their cute kids loving on Rosie as well. They are a kind, animal-loving family who will take excellent care of your pet! 10/10 would recommend them! 😊”

“Matthew was great, he was very accommodating. Our dog had plenty of play time and attention: she went on walks and loved having a fenced in yard to explore. Matthew communicated well with us. He provided plenty of updates and pictures, which we really appreciated this having been our first time using someone for boarding!”

“Melissa and her family took such great care of my pup while we were away! She adjusted quickly and fit right in. Melissa was good about following Rosie's routine for feeding and sleeping arrangements and sent me cute pics while we were away. I was able to relax and enjoy my vacation because I knew Rosie was in good hands! Melissa was prompt and friendly whenever I sent her a question or info. I highly recommend her watching your pup if you need someone!”

Nick did a fantastic job with Sterling. He sent pics and updates, as this was the first time Sterling went to in-home boarding. Sterling by nature is a bit anxious but he seemed relaxed and comfortable with the other dogs. It meant the world to us to know he was in good hands and socializing with some furry friends. We will definitely be using Nick’s services again!

my dog pam had the absolute best time with holly!! her home and land are beautiful and holly is so welcoming and sweet. pam had her own little retreat while i was away and had no shortage of outdoor time and golf carts rides. holly kept me updated with pictures and messages throughout the stay!

Alyssa is a great sitter and very accommodating. I booked with her and needed to cancel after no longer needing her. She could not offer a refund at that time so I decided to send my dog with her anyway. My dog stayed one night and she then offered a full refund for other unforeseen reasons that weren't her fault, and she didnt have to do that. She offered to brush my dog daily with no extra cost. She usually charges for grooming and I didnt know that nor did I have that listed in my dogs care and she offered to do it anyway. Although my dog didnt stay with her very long, I could tell she has a heart for animals and I can assure you, your fur baby will be in good hands with Alyssa.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
