We have four cats, which means a lot of moving parts and different types of food and preferences, and Courtney managed it seamlessly and she provided detailed updates for each visit as well as photos. One of our cats is very scared of strangers and I worry about him the most when we are not here. Courtney took amazing care with him and gave me consistent updates on him, reassuring me that he was ok. She went above and beyond in other big and small ways as well, including scooping the litter an extra time the day of our return and rinsing out cat food cans so that we could recycle them when we got home. There were numerous other gestures and communications that were so thoughtful and considerate and it was such a relief knowing our cats were in such good hands. Ultimately, the best part is that Courtney seemed to genuinely enjoy our pets and upon our return they are happy and healthy, an indicator that the enjoyment was mutual. She had me come to her home to meet her, see where my cat would be living for 10 days and answered allll of my questions. About: 15 years of shelter volunteer work plus caring for my own dogs for 16 years. Frequently dog sit for both of my daughters and my son-in-law. After losing my last dog at 17, I would love to provide care, love and walks for yours. About: I have been an animal lover my whole life! From my first pet cat I just knew there was nothing like the love of a pet. I have 3 children and a husband that feel the same! We have two well loved labs and are always excited to meet new furry friends! I have the ability to work from home. Some requirement’s that I have for you boarding with me is that your dog is house trained (exception for puppies because they are learning and I can work with that) and has never been aggressive towards other dogs or kids. I will be attending Oakland Community College this fall. I will only be taking one in person class (on Wednesdays) so my schedule is pretty much 100% open. I do not have a fenced in backyard so I would keep your dog on a leash when taken out if need be. In my clients house I will take care of their dog as they do themselves.
