About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up on a farm, and at one point we had 12 indoor dogs, from tiny Yorkies to Great Danes. They were never “just pets” to us; they were family, and that’s how I’ve always believed animals should be treated. I’ve also cared for cats and have experience dog sitting, so I’m comfortable looking after pets with different personalities, routines, and needs. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll care for yours the same way I’d care for my own. I take classes two days a week and spend the rest of my time at home, so I have a flexible schedule and can give pets plenty of attention and care. I'm also available most weekends, making it easy to accommodate a variety of pet care needs. I always make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for by following their usual routine as closely as possible. I'll follow all feeding, medication, and exercise instructions provided by the owner and make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I don't have any pets of my own at the moment, so I truly enjoy spending time with animals and giving them the love and companionship they deserve. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
“Always grateful for Courtney and Roman for taking care of our pups while we’re away. Trustworthy, on time, reliable and thorough updates. We never worry of our pups because we know we have Courtney. Thank you again both so much for the providing care and snuggles to Scarlett, Pugnacious, Penelope and Beastie. See you again soon!”

“Arden was wonderful, followed all our directions, gave love and excellent care to our friendly fur baby and considerate and respectful of our very shy guy. 10/10 would recommend her services to anyone, you won't regret it!”

About: I have been an animal lover my whole life! From my first pet cat I just knew there was nothing like the love of a pet. I have 3 children and a husband that feel the same! We have two well loved labs and are always excited to meet new furry friends! I have the ability to work from home. My office is only two miles away so I can easily be free to love your fur baby while your unavailable. My yard is unfenced however we can run a long line. We do have an invisible fence that works great with our two Labs. You’re fur baby will be well attended to and played with. We have animal loving children and two sweet Labs to keep them company.
About: I’ve had many different pets in my life big and small each pet teaching me something very different on the love and care for that pets individual needs . I’ve had a Poodle with seizures a Rhodesian Ridge back that ate everything in sight .My recent cat had a mega colon issue when I adopted her it finally got to be too much for her. Luna’s care was very specific including all the medications and diet . My friends and family have me take care of their pets knowing they couldn’t be in more loving hands . My home is pet friendly i have no pets at this time I love animals and they seem to respond very lovingly to me . I’m retired from owning my own business so I’m not working and looking to supplement some extra income so my schedule is flexible and so are my days and evenings . When caring for your pet in my home or your home.I will be feeding and watering your pet giving them exercise and lots of love with all the care you expect and your pet deserves.

“Lyle has been a major asset in my care for River! I just brought River home the Friday before last as an 8 week old pup, and after a meet and greet over the weekend, Lyle was ready to take care of River that Monday. Whether it be his last minute help while I work or the informative Rover cards with pictures to keep you in the know of how your pup is doing, he has been a blessing to me. If that wasn’t enough, he has been using his training and behavior knowledge to go above and beyond with River. I am new to the puppy world and am so so so grateful for his help and the things he has explain to me while I learn alongside River. You will not go wrong with picking Lyle to care for your furry family member! I have observed that it It’s not just a job for him and you can see his heart and care for animals.”

“There is no one like Emi-Lu. She always goes above and beyond with her care for our dog, Finn. She is so attentive and gentle with him. Furthermore, she sends us reminder messages the day before she comes to visit and asks us updated questions about Finn each time, which is much appreciated. Finn absolutely loves her and we do as well.”

I work from home and am available for midday visits, evenings, weekends, and special occasions. My priority is to make sure your dog feels safe, loved, and well-cared for at all times. About: Hi! I’m Emily, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’m patient, dependable, and genuinely enjoy spending time with pets. I know how important it is to have someone you can trust with a beloved family member, so I treat every pet with the same care and attention I’d want for my own. Whether your pet loves adventures, belly rubs, or quiet companionship, I’m happy to tailor my care to their needs. I work part-time, which gives me flexibility to care for pets throughout the week. I’m available for drop-in visits before and after work, as well as evenings and weekends. I’ll always communicate clearly about my availability and make sure your pet receives reliable, consistent care while you’re away. I believe every pet deserves to feel safe and comfortable in their own home. I take the time to learn each cat’s routine and personality. I’ll carefully follow your instructions, keep food and water fresh, clean the litter box, provide playtime or cuddles as they’re comfortable with, and always make sure your home is secure before I leave. My goal is to give you peace of mind while you’re away.
“Haley was wonderful with our two dogs, she came by to meet them ahead of our trip and they loved her. I loved the photos and feedback she gave after each visit; we will definitely hire her again!”

“Erin is a fantastic sitter!! She’s great at accommodating last minute requests and always does a great job entertaining my energetic poodle puppy. Will continue to use her again whenever possible!”

“Beatrice once again came to my rescue and took wonderful care of my sweet, senior cat. Every time we leave town I live in hope that Beatrice is available (which she typically is). She's communicative, kind, easy to work with, and fantastic with our cat. I recommend her unreservedly to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

“My cat son really likes Barb and she's officially "His sitter!" Barb is such a sweet lady! I was terrified of leaving my cat home alone but she assured me everything would be ok and it was.”

About: Dogs have always been in the family since I was 8 and my dog’s name is Riley. He’s a German shepherd mix. He’s been my running buddy for years. I like to go on walks and runs and would love bring some buddies along with me! I can also bring any dogs that require a bit more exercise to the dog park for some runs. I have fenced yard with plenty of space for runs and a ranch style home for any older pups who don’t like to climb stairs.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
