About: I have always had a dog or cat in my life. Growing up and now I have two dogs of my own who I adore and love! I also have been a dog walker/nanny for two dogs for the past 4 years. One of these dogs was a puppy too. I have a pretty open schedule. I have a few open days a week and don’t mind driving to take care of pets. I am also open to stopping by before and/or after I get off at my other job! I have two dogs and take care of them like they are my kids! They follow me around the house and need constant attention that i love to give them. I will take care of my clients pet however they normally take care of them and follow their routine!
About: I’ve had many different pets in my life big and small each pet teaching me something very different on the love and care for that pets individual needs . I’ve had a Poodle with seizures a Rhodesian Ridge back that ate everything in sight .My recent cat had a mega colon issue when I adopted her it finally got to be too much for her. Luna’s care was very specific including all the medications and diet . My friends and family have me take care of their pets knowing they couldn’t be in more loving hands . My home is pet friendly i have no pets at this time I love animals and they seem to respond very lovingly to me . I’m retired from owning my own business so I’m not working and looking to supplement some extra income so my schedule is flexible and so are my days and evenings . When caring for your pet in my home or your home.I will be feeding and watering your pet giving them exercise and lots of love with all the care you expect and your pet deserves.
“There is no one like Emi-Lu. She always goes above and beyond with her care for our dog, Finn. She is so attentive and gentle with him. Furthermore, she sends us reminder messages the day before she comes to visit and asks us updated questions about Finn each time, which is much appreciated. Finn absolutely loves her and we do as well.”

“She was super kind and did a great job with our gal. It was a bit last minute for us to hire her but she was on the ball and took care of her. 10/10 recommend Arden for any animal care. She even noticed our gecko and reached out to see if he needed anything as well.”

“Kara is awesome! She was able to draw out both my cats during the Meet & Greet (they both run & hide when a stranger comes in the door, so I wasn't expecting them to come out for her). She was very attuned to how my one cat responded with fear to her voice changing to a deeper register and made sure to keep a gentle, light, reassuring tone. She was also super gracious about things like having to clean up a hairball and feed one cat separately in a super messy bedroom I didn't have time to clean. When Kara spontaneously said "I love cats!" while she was meeting and greeting Winnie and Iosaf, I knew she was the perfect petsitter for them!! 😻😻”

“Erin took fantastic care of our senior pets! She always was on time and spent any extra time exercising our dog. She was a wonderful rover we will definitely be trying to book her again next time we’re away!”

“Courtney is the best! Our pups love her and she is sooooo sweet to them. Courtney always provides thorough updates with cute pics and spends time with our pups making sure they get lots of love and care, giving us comfort when we aren’t able to be home with them.”
“Caili was so sweet and was amazing with our girls! She is extremely responsive and ensured my girls got the utmost level of care during her drop-ins. I will 100% use her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for care for their own fur babies! 💞”

“Stephanie is fantastic! She is always on time, leaves me pictures and notes on how Stella did. Stella enjoys their visits and I couldn't be happier and more grateful!”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life. I grew up on a farm, and at one point we had 12 indoor dogs, from tiny Yorkies to Great Danes. They were never “just pets” to us; they were family, and that’s how I’ve always believed animals should be treated. I’ve also cared for cats and have experience dog sitting, so I’m comfortable looking after pets with different personalities, routines, and needs. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or just having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I’ll care for yours the same way I’d care for my own. I take classes two days a week and spend the rest of my time at home, so I have a flexible schedule and can give pets plenty of attention and care. I'm also available most weekends, making it easy to accommodate a variety of pet care needs. I always make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for by following their usual routine as closely as possible. I'll follow all feeding, medication, and exercise instructions provided by the owner and make sure they get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection. I don't have any pets of my own at the moment, so I truly enjoy spending time with animals and giving them the love and companionship they deserve. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away.
“Theresa is awesome! My girls love her. She has sat for me 2x times now and both times I’ve never worried once! Even when I was stuck in Texas she was able to check on them a couple extra day! What a blessing to have found Theresa.”

“Barb has been watching my two cats for several years. I'm always pleased. Even though they are tremendously shy she has finally gotten them to come out of cover at least for a little while. A major accomplishment!”

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats for over 18 years now. I usually help family and friends when they go out of town. Pets are like family and should be treated as such and that is something I value in my care. I currently work a full time job. My daily and weekly work schedule are morning shifts and a few weekends, I can be flexible for the needs of your loved ones. If I’m in a clients home, I will do what the client says is most best for their loved one. I aim to make sure each pet is cared for and comfortable in their environment.
About: I’ve been taking care of dogs for 20 years. I’ve read training books and love them just like my own dog. I will treat your dog like a VIP- Very Important Pup! I can care for dogs anytime after 5. I can take them on nice long walks that are enriching. I will make sure your pup has fun and is nice and tired. I will make sure your pet is safe and care for them just like as they were my dog. Dogs are truly loyal and kind and need to be cared for.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
