Pet care experience

Safe, Fun, XP & Professional

I’m a life-long animal lover and have cared for many dogs, cats, small animals, livestock, and fish for over a decade. I’m proud to provide premium quality care for my clients and can’t wait to meet your fur-family! 🐾 I have 3 Husky-Mix dogs (Theo: 9yrs/Siberian Husky, Daisy: 7yrs/Labsky, and Rosie: 2yrs/Pitsky/Deaf/Scoliosis/Neurological Issues), 2 young kittens (Luka: 9mo/Lynx Point Siamese and Sasha: 8mo/Tortico) and a few dozen fish at my own home. My wife and I have fostered/rehabilitated dozens of dogs and cats over the years with rescue groups such as the Humane Society of Huron Valley, Last Day Dog Rescue, and Hairy Houdini Siberian Husky Rescue. We love animals of all sorts and still continue to volunteer with fostering and transportation when we have the time! ❤️ I have extensive experience with large breed dogs and am familiar with a variety of difficult behaviors such as resource guarding, escape artists, seperation anxiety, dog aggression/selectiveness, prey drives, abuse/neglect cases, mobility limitations, and neurological issues. I’ve completed advanced K9 obedience training courses with my own dogs and can readily adapt to your training regimen for consistency. I am prepared to administer any medication or emergency medical intervention required such as pet CPR, inducing vomiting, anxiety comforting, etc. I am also very happy to provide consistent daily exercise, grooming, and enrichment activities to keep your animals entertained, healthy, and happy! 🙂 In addition I can help with checking the mail, bringing in packages, and taking out the trash or any other small tasks. I am also an avid gardener and fish keeper and can help water or feed any plants, fish, or other critters for my house sitting clients: 🪴 🐠 🐓 🦎 🐄

Safety, trust & environment

I always like to tell my clients that safety and your animals well-being is my #1 priority! For day and overnight pet sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walking I will follow pet owners instructions to the letter. I take any animal under my care with the utmost seriousness and professionalism and will immediately reach out if I have any questions or concerns. I like to be over-prepared and cautious and always request to have a list of local vets ready in case of any emergencies. I can adapt to any system you have and I always strive to follow all of my clients rules to provide the safest experience possible for their peace of mind! 🤝

Lyle does such a good job with my 3 cats and I always feel comfortable being away when I know he’ll be there for them and me. He knows the routine and the cats love him in their cat way. Thanks again, Lyle!

Lyle was great watching my dog Copper. Copper is a rescue who was neglected and abandoned, so new situations are usually an anxious time for him. Lyle was great at keeping his anxiety in check and taking care of him. It was hard to leave Copper for the first time since rescuing him, but Lyle was a great comfort. Thanks again.

Lyle did great caring for my three cats. Only tip I’d give is to bring a notepad and pen to take notes on care instructions during meet and greet. It really helps the customer out when there’s so much to do when leaving town with the whole family.

Lyle watched our 2 dogs & 1 cat while we were out of town for a week. He really worked hard to gain their trust and affection, which was difficult with our older Chihuahua mix. They all got along well with him and his patience paid off. We got regular updates with a lot of photos that really put us at ease that our pets were in good hands. We also were able to add a last minute check in on the last day when our flight was rescheduled, which was very helpful. We’ll continue to book Lyle whenever possible for both drop in visits and longer stays - highly recommend!

House Sitting • Jun 29, 2026

Had all 3 of my fur babies enjoying Lyle in our home for a week. Each one of them have their own personalities: independent, princess and one with anxiety. I left specific detailed notes. But received many photos, even some new positive behaviors that had come out with Lyle. When returned house was clean as I left it. My 3 dogs were of course excited to see me but I could tell they were relaxed. I’m have another short stay scheduled with Lyle and will not hesitate in planning another week long trip.

Schedule

I currently work remote and have an open and flexible schedule. If house sitting I will need to leave for a few hours during the day (approx. 10am - 4pm) to attend to my other clients or my own animals, but would be able to return within a few hours for potty breaks, medication, etc. I’m very good with time management, and being a natural homebody I’m very rarely unavailable for clients. If you are looking for a dependable sitter who can accommodate repeat bookings, I’m your guy. 🗓️✅ NOTE: For House Sitting Clients: If your pet(s) cannot be left alone for 6 hours at a minimum during the day then I will require you to create an additional drop-in booking(s) for mid-day potty breaks, meds, separation anxiety issues, etc. I have day appointments that keep me on the road and is an additional time, fuel, logistics, etc. commitment for me to coordinate a mid-day break. For clients looking for longer care please be aware there is an increased daily “Extended Stay” rate for any booking longer than 4 days. Also please be mindful of the check-in/ check-out times you select as that can qualify your booking for an “Extended Care” charge which can be a 50-100% increase of the nightly rate depending on the extra hours requested. Additionally, for House Sitting clients with dogs under 2 years old I will also require at least one (1) dog walking booking appointment per day in order to properly exercise them. I will waive this requirement for medical reasons or other valid reasons on a case by case basis. For House Sitting, Drop-In, & Dog Walking Clients: If your dog(s) have behavior or other advanced issues (abuse, neglect, aggression, etc.) I may require additional in-person Meet & Greet appointments to assess before I will commit to a booking. After the first free Meet & Greet these would be paid Drop-In appointments with clients present until I feel confident to commit to the house sitting, repeat bookings, etc.

I always like to get to know the individual personalities of the pets in my care and to be mindful of any triggers or behaviors (e.g. thunderstorms/fireworks, counter-surfers, toy swallowers, trash pandas, car chasers, children phobias, etc.) so that I can provide a safe and peaceful experience for them. I’m well seasoned with most common medical conditions such as anxiety, dietary restrictions, allergies, arthritis, over-heating, neurological, and miscellaneous breed specific issues. For any new medical requirements that I don’t have experience with, I’m a very quick-study and am confident in my ability to provide the professional quality care your animals deserve! 👍
