“Emi-Lu is definitely the person you want caring for your dog when you are gone. She is thorough, detailed, kind, and compassionate. She even texted me this morning to make sure she could find my key and to ask how long our dog likes to walk. Emi-Lu is the best sitter on Rover!!”

About: I’ve always had a dog or cat in my home! Growing up we always had a Golden Retriever :) My most recent dogs were two senior Chihuahua sisters I adopted and one Olde English Bulldog. They have all crossed the rainbow bridge and though I’m not ready to get another pet, I miss having them in my life. One of my seniors had diabetes so I’m trained at administering insulin as well. I’m a stay at home mom of two little boys I share with their dad, though when I have dogs stay with me they stay with their father. For boarding, I live in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of other dogs and great sidewalks for strolls or power walks if needed. I enjoy going for daily long walks myself would love the company. For walks at your home, I never skimp on time outside or if weather doesn’t permit, extra fun and love inside.
“Kaitlyn was wonderful and very friendly and punctual! She provided walking services for our pup Molly and was great at getting her out walking and playing to break up her day. Thanks again Kaitlyn!”

“William and Sandra have been fantastic in caring for our pooch while we are at work. Super responsive, attentive and taking care of all the little extra details. Communication is clear and timely as well. Excellent care for your pet.”

“Thank you for taking extra care for River after is surgery. Eased my mind to see and hear that his sutures were okay, etc when I had to be at work. It’s been a tough week post-op and I appreciate the help :)”

About: I have pets from cats to pugs to rottweilers so I'm very comfortable working with both small and bigger dogs! I've had pets my whole life, my family used to foster dogs so I've been caring for all kinds of dogs since I was a kid. I have done drop in's with friends and families pets while they were on vacation. I've worked with pets that take time to trust and can tell when a dog is uncomfortable and needs space/a break. I also have experience working with special foods/medications. Littles, seniors, and everything in between are welcome I've worked with them all in my personal life! I'm a full time university student trying to put myself through college! I'm home for the summer and my schedule is extremely flexible! I'm willing to work holidays. I'm able to follow owners' requests for their pet whether that be using command words, crating, feeding, playing, walking, litter boxes, light grooming. Any routines or training you have I'm more then willing to impliment them into my visit!
“Michele helped us last minute. She was awesome with communication and sent us some cute photos on their walk. Thank you again Michele! Teddy definitely appreciated your company. 😊”

“Melissa was great! She always arrived on time and gave us multiple updates during her walk and provided plenty of photos. Our pup was well taken care of. We highly recommend Melissa!!”

About: I’ve been around fur babies my entire life, caring for pups of all ages, sizes, and personalities. From energetic puppies to gentle seniors, I’m comfortable using the intuitive understanding of their needs and behaviors that I have gained throughout my years to adapt my care to match each dog’s unique temperament and routine. I’ve also spent time caring for senior pets for family members, so I understand the extra patience, attentiveness, and gentleness they require, whether that means maintaining routines, supporting mobility, or offering calm companionship. On top of that, I’ve raised and cared for my own stubborn shih tzu, which taught me a lot about patience and how to handle strong-willed dogs with both structure and love. What sets my care apart from most, I don’t take a one-size-fits-all approach, I focus on truly knowing each pet as if they were my own: learning their personality, respecting their routine, and creating a safe, stress-free environment where they feel secure and loved. Clients can expect reliable communication, updates, and the peace of mind that their pet is not just being watched but cared for. As a college student home for the summer, pet care fits seamlessly into a very open and flexible schedule. With ample availability throughout the day and week, there is plenty of time to provide attentive, consistent care. This flexibility allows for adapting to each pet’s routine and ensuring they receive the time and attention they deserve. Creating a comfortable and trustworthy environment is always the top priority. Care is tailored to each pet’s routine to keep things familiar and stress-free, with close attention to feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any specific instructions provided. Walks are always done with safety in mind, using secure leashing and awareness of surroundings. In a client’s home, respect for both the space and the pet’s comfort is key: keeping things clean, calm, and consistent while maintaining open communication. The goal is to ensure every pet feels secure, cared for, and happy, while giving owners absolute peace of mind.
“I am so thankful for Michelle. She is a quality person who took amazing care of my sweet dog on an extended vacation. She is a wonderful communicator, reliable and most importantly took exceptional care of my dog. It allowed me to have a stress free vacation knowing that my dog had a walk and got out in the bitter cold and my elderly parent was not faced with that chore. Thank you Michelle. I am so glad to have met you you’re truly a blessing.”

About: I have had a pet my whole life. From dogs to cats to ferrets to our farm animals. We live on two acres of fenced in yard, where your fur baby can enjoy their time outside. We have electric gates on our driveway, this ensures that your pet is safe while you are in our care. We offer a splash pad, doggy pools, sprinklers, soccer balls, tennis balls and bubbles for enrichment . This is a family affair, we care for your pet like family while you are away. I am a stay at home mom that homeschools her three kids. The kids love animals and would love to love on yours while you’re away. Pets are a great way for kids to learn responsibility, empathy and compassion. We have a 2 acre fenced in backyard in the country. Your dog can run and play, get their energy out and still be safe. We allow your pets on the furniture but if this is a no for you we will follow your rules as to not confuse them. We like to do a meet and greet to make sure our dog and your dog/ cat will be safe and not stressed while they visit us. We want to give your pet the best available care while you are away. Please include the following details about them in their bio. Things I would like to know: 1. I ask that you have all vaccinations up to date. 2. I’d like to have veterinarian information provided in case of an emergency. 3. Please provide a start and end time when inquiring about availability. 4. Is your dog crate trained and potty trained? 5. Any special needs your dog may have or other information you would like me to know. 6. Any allergies they or your family have. 7. Are they afraid or fearful of anything? 8. What command words do you use ? 9. Do they do well on car rides and walks? We do offer pets from more then one home if we have experience with the behavior of the dogs. We offer kennels, bedding, toys, food and water bowls so you don’t have to haul all that while trying to get things ready.
“Alexandria is great with our two very different dogs! Herbie is older and loud and Lola is young and energetic but quiet. Even in the current deep freeze she got them out for me (despite Herbie’s protests)! Thank you 😊”

“Lauren is kind and loving our fur baby, Remi! She walks him 3 days each week for at least a mile early in the morning! Lauren is a good communicator via text. She lets me know if she needs flexibility with the schedule which I do appreciate! Lauren is a grad student so having a flexible walk time is important. I am happy to have met her and will continue her service. A+++++”

About: My experience and background with animals spans over the course 20 years. I've worked as a veterinary technician, fostered nearly 2 dozen puppies for rescue programs, and founded my own successful non-profit rescue & conservation program dedicated to primitive canids. I had the wonderful experience of helping one of these rare dogs whelp & raise a massive litter of 12. I've owned numerous breeds including a Beagle, working-line German Shepherd, working-line Anatolian Shepherd, and numerous primitives such Carolina Dogs, a coydog hybrid, & an imported Canaan Dog. I've trained dogs in sports such as schutzhund & nosework. I established my private dog training business in 2019- specializing in puppies and working dogs such as service & livestock guardian dogs. I've been blessed to own two wonderful cats! On our homestead we had an incredible indoor/outdoor boy that kept the rodents at bay. We also have a sweet, indoor-only kitty that lives the high life with raw food & endless cuddles! I'm thoroughly experienced in caring for senior dogs & cats, administering medications, first aid, & wound care. I've fed numerous specialized diets, including fully raw. I adore the puppy stage- including crate training, potty training, & socialization. I'm a strong advocate for socialization that bolsters confident neutrality. A puppy's endless curiosity is so fun to harness! I enjoy giving dogs a balance of outdoor exercise like hiking, as well as indoor mental enrichment like games and puzzles. A tired dog is a happy dog! I train dogs part time & homeschool my daughter- which lends me a great deal of flexibility in my schedule. I can often accommodate short notice requests. Your beloved pet's safety is critical to me. I'm extremely cautious with opening & closing doors so no animals can slip through a door, check the fit of a dog's collar to prevent potential backing out, & ensure there's nothing a pup or kitty could get into thats potentially dangerous. I have a very strong preference for using martingale collars on dogs for walks to mitigate that risk. I've personally endured the tragedy of my young dog slipping the door and being hit by a car while a sitter was taking care of him- so I assure you I take this very seriously. Building trust with both owners and their pets is pivotal! I'm committed to open communication and honesty. I allow pets to greet me on their terms and understand some animals need a more patient, gentle approach than others. I strive to create a positive, calm environment for your pets- and once I'm trusted by them, I will add the playfulness and affection they deserve!
