About: I’ve always loved being around dogs and genuinely enjoy getting to know their individual personalities and routines. Growing up, I had a golden retriever that has crossed the rainbow bridge. I’m attentive to their needs, whether that means playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply keeping them company. I’m patient, responsible, and committed to making every dog feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while they’re with me. I also have experience caring for and co-parenting a dog long-term, so I’m comfortable with the day-to-day responsibilities that come with caring for a dog and making sure they’re happy, well cared for, and comfortable in their routine. While I was in school, I also spent some of my free time helping local adoption organizations find loving homes for stray puppies. I have a structured routine with flexibility throughout the day, which allows me to provide consistent and attentive care. I can accommodate regular walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship while maintaining each pet’s usual routine. I prioritize safety, comfort, and trust when caring for every pet. Before caring for a dog, I like to speak with the owner and learn about their pet’s temperament, personality, routine, and individual likes and dislikes. I make sure doors and gates are secure, dogs are supervised appropriately, and walks are done safely with a properly secured leash and harness or collar. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications if needed, and any routines or boundaries their pet is accustomed to. I also pay attention to each dog’s behavior and give them the right balance of exercise, play, attention, and downtime. I love sending pictures and updates to owners while their fur babies are in my care, so they can see how their pet is doing and have peace of mind knowing they’re safe, happy, and well cared for. (I prefer doing a meet and greet with the owner and pet before I commit so that both parties are comfortable especially the fur baby 🥰)

About: I started dog sitting in 2022 for a coworker at the time, and since then I now have 9 different families I regularly sit for. I have experience with a range of dogs (from Toy Aussies to German Shepherds) as well as cats, which I grew up with, and some experience with fish and birds. I love all kinds of animals and getting to know their individual quirks and personalities! I am primarily doing online classes for school and working part-time. My working schedule can be flexible with advanced notice so I can spend the most time with your pet(s)! Whatever is best for you and your pet is what I provide! I’ve cared for very high-maintenance dogs that need multiple walks a day, special diets, etc., as well as very chill dogs that just come in and out as they please and eat whenever they want. About: I have had a pet my whole life. From dogs to cats to ferrets to our farm animals. We live on two acres of fenced in yard, where your fur baby can enjoy their time outside. We have electric gates on our driveway, this ensures that your pet is safe while you are in our care. We offer a splash pad, doggy pools, sprinklers, soccer balls, tennis balls and bubbles for enrichment . This is a family affair, we care for your pet like family while you are away. I am a stay at home mom that homeschools her three kids. The kids love animals and would love to love on yours while you’re away. Pets are a great way for kids to learn responsibility, empathy and compassion. We have a 2 acre fenced in backyard in the country. Your dog can run and play, get their energy out and still be safe. We allow your pets on the furniture but if this is a no for you we will follow your rules as to not confuse them. We like to do a meet and greet to make sure our dog and your dog/ cat will be safe and not stressed while they visit us. We want to give your pet the best available care while you are away. Please include the following details about them in their bio. Things I would like to know: 1. I ask that you have all vaccinations up to date. 2. I’d like to have veterinarian information provided in case of an emergency. 3. Please provide a start and end time when inquiring about availability. 4. Is your dog crate trained and potty trained? 5. Any special needs your dog may have or other information you would like me to know. 6. Any allergies they or your family have. 7. Are they afraid or fearful of anything? 8. What command words do you use ? 9. Do they do well on car rides and walks? We do offer pets from more then one home if we have experience with the behavior of the dogs. We offer kennels, bedding, toys, food and water bowls so you don’t have to haul all that while trying to get things ready.

About: I’ve always been the person animals gravitate toward. I grew up with cats and later had two Italian Mastiffs, so I’m very comfortable with both small pets and big, strong personalities. I almost became a vet at one point, but after shadowing, I realized my heart just couldn’t handle that side of things. What I do love is creating a calm, safe, and loving environment for animals to just be. In my day-to-day life, I run my own business and come from a background in events and marketing, so I’m naturally very detail-oriented and respectful of your space. I’m also a competitive figure skater, which means I’m disciplined, reliable, and consistent especially when it comes to routines and care. I keep a flexible, self-managed schedule, which allows me to be very intentional with the time and care I give to each home and pet. I’m able to adapt to your pet's routine and make sure visits feel consistent, calm, and reliable while you’re away. I approach pet care in a really intentional, calm way. I let animals set the tone and focus on creating a safe, low-stress environment where they can feel comfortable. I’m also very detail-oriented when it comes to your home. I follow routines closely, keep things tidy, and make sure everything is locked up and secure. My goal is for you to come home to a happy pet and a space that feels just as you left it.

About: I have had pets of all types for my whole life. Currently, I have 6 cats, and my beloved French bulldog passed away earlier this year. I love dogs and truly think they are magnificent and pure beings, who deserve our love, time and patience. I am currently only working part time, so I have quite a bit of free time during my week to come visit with your pets. About: My experience and background with animals spans over the course 20 years. I've worked as a veterinary technician, fostered nearly 2 dozen puppies for rescue programs, and founded my own successful non-profit rescue & conservation program dedicated to primitive canids. I had the wonderful experience of helping one of these rare dogs whelp & raise a massive litter of 12. I've owned numerous breeds including a Beagle, working-line German Shepherd, working-line Anatolian Shepherd, and numerous primitives such Carolina Dogs, a coydog hybrid, & an imported Canaan Dog. I've trained dogs in sports such as schutzhund & nosework. I established my private dog training business in 2019- specializing in puppies and working dogs such as service & livestock guardian dogs. I've been blessed to own two wonderful cats! On our homestead we had an incredible indoor/outdoor boy that kept the rodents at bay. We also have a sweet, indoor-only kitty that lives the high life with raw food & endless cuddles! I'm thoroughly experienced in caring for senior dogs & cats, administering medications, first aid, & wound care. I've fed numerous specialized diets, including fully raw. I adore the puppy stage- including crate training, potty training, & socialization. I'm a strong advocate for socialization that bolsters confident neutrality. A puppy's endless curiosity is so fun to harness! I enjoy giving dogs a balance of outdoor exercise like hiking, as well as indoor mental enrichment like games and puzzles. A tired dog is a happy dog! I train dogs part time & homeschool my daughter- which lends me a great deal of flexibility in my schedule. I can often accommodate short notice requests. Your beloved pet's safety is critical to me. I'm extremely cautious with opening & closing doors so no animals can slip through a door, check the fit of a dog's collar to prevent potential backing out, & ensure there's nothing a pup or kitty could get into thats potentially dangerous. I have a very strong preference for using martingale collars on dogs for walks to mitigate that risk. I've personally endured the tragedy of my young dog slipping the door and being hit by a car while a sitter was taking care of him- so I assure you I take this very seriously. Building trust with both owners and their pets is pivotal! I'm committed to open communication and honesty. I allow pets to greet me on their terms and understand some animals need a more patient, gentle approach than others. I strive to create a positive, calm environment for your pets- and once I'm trusted by them, I will add the playfulness and affection they deserve!

About: While I'm just getting started on Rover, i have been pet sitting for many years and it is truly my passion. I can offer you and your family peace of mind! My goal is to make you and your pet as comfortable and secure as possible while you’re apart. I will leave your house exactly the way I found it and am comfortable with cameras and ring doorbells. I’ve had animals all my life. I am also very passionate about animal welfare and contribute my time and money to many organizations. Many of my repeat customers are not on Rover so I am happy to provide more references upon request. In addition to pet care, I do have a work from home, 9-5 job at one of the most well known companies in Michigan. This enables me to be available for long periods of time to be with your pet at my house or yours. As long as there is WiFi, I can be there. I am very flexible to your families many different needs. I am happy to meet you and your pets needs in whatever setting is most comfortable. Your pet will have the run of my house during their stay. My house is big enough for your pet to have quiet alone time or be with the people. There is usually always someone home to be with your pet. I treat pets as beloved family members. Likewise, I am happy to do it at your home as well.

About: I love working with dogs, they bring happiness to my life! I have 2 dogs on my own that I walk every day. I pay very close attention to my dogs when I am walking them. I treat them as I would my own children. My house is dog safe because my own fur babies love to get into things they shouldn't, which has improved my techniques as an owner. As a dog loving house, there are treats and food available always. I am a big believer in fresh water daily for my pets. I have been around dogs since I was little, I love to care for them and know how read their body language. I started pet sitting for my family and friends. About: Hi! I am an energetic animal lover looking to help out with dog walking and sitting! I grew up in a household with multiple pets, and have experience with dogs of all sizes and all personalities. I currently have 4 dogs at home as well as a cat, a chinchilla, and a fish that I care for. I’m flexible with my hours during the week, and I have a large fenced in backyard! About: I had three rescue dogs of my own, two have since passed but we have taken my MILs dog since her passing so we have two dogs currently and three cats! I love animals and have been caring for them since I was a child growing up and always having a pet to care for made me very dependable and well mannered when it comes to training. I am experienced with animal rehabilitation and am comfortable with all animals but do have two young children in the home. Dogs that stay with us will have a designated heated and cooled space to sleep in. I am home all day during the day, am able to let animals out at any time as I have a large fenced in yard. We have cameras and a covered deck as well for complete safety and security for the animals. I am available for stop in visits, walking or general care. I work from home so am available to care for my children and pets. I have a flexible work schedule and am able to adjust it to meet my needs. I love animals, truly and honestly. About: I have been taking care of animals of many different breeds and species for almost my whole life! I have owned rodents, reptiles, aquatic animals, avians, and canines alike! I currently own a chocolate lab who is the love of my life and have experience taking care of her while my parents are on vacation! I am a big lover of all creatures and give them the special treatment they deserve! I am currently working part time at Ulta around 11-15 hours a week. I am usually home in the afternoons or early mornings to take care of pets. I am also a student who goes to school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays this semester. I take my dog out on night walks and usually feed her early in the morning so she is set for the day! I have safe locks and a wide yard for my dog to roam. She also has an E-collar to keep her safe so she knows where her boundaries are. We also get rid of trees that may cause hazards. We have flat ground too.
