Even before we booked, Anne agreed to have my husband come to her house to allow Uki to get acclimated/make sure it was a good fit. My husband instantly felt at ease with Anne and had no concerns leaving Uki with her. During our vacation, Anne sent us daily photos and *the most adorable* daily status updates on how Uki was doing. About: 15 years of shelter volunteer work plus caring for my own dogs for 16 years. Frequently dog sit for both of my daughters and my son-in-law. After losing my last dog at 17, I would love to provide care, love and walks for yours. I work from home and set my own appointments outside of the home so I can determine precisely when I'll be home. Although I don't have a fenced yard we have a great neighborhood for walks. Dogs should be able to free roam as I don't currently have a crate; or you can provide a crate. Please bring any special toys, bed, etc. that will help your dog acclimate!

I have a very strong preference for using martingale collars on dogs for walks to mitigate that risk. I've personally endured the tragedy of my young dog slipping the door and being hit by a car while a sitter was taking care of him- so I assure you I take this very seriously. Care is tailored to each pet’s routine to keep things familiar and stress-free, with close attention to feeding schedules, exercise needs, and any specific instructions provided. Walks are always done with safety in mind, using secure leashing and awareness of surroundings. In a client’s home, respect for both the space and the pet’s comfort is key: keeping things clean, calm, and consistent while maintaining open communication. About: Hi! I have three dogs, Poppy, Bentley, & Harley, who are considered part of my family. I would treat your pets like they were one of my own. I am very flexible and can usually accommodate if needed on short notice. I currently pet sit for a few people and can provide references upon request. You will get pictures and any other updates while you are gone. I offer walks, play time and love. I am happy to do meet and greets to answer any questions you may have. About: Hello! My name is Maggie. I’m a 31 year old living in South Lyon, & a lover of all animals; the furry, the scaled, the smelly, the shy, the rambunctious, & every animal in between. I’ve had a dog in my home since I was born. My specialty is rabbits! Rabbits are such unique creatures, & I know how to give them the care & gentle love they need. I’ve had 5 cats, 4 dogs, & 1 rabbit in my lifetime, & now, due to my living situation, I am unable to have my own furry pal. I am hoping to get my fix of animal love through this service, while also helping those who need a little help with their busy work schedule or holiday travel plans. My toddler would accompany me to drop ins, but he has strict boundaries with animals. If your pet loves kids - great! My kiddo loves animals! If your pet is hesitant to kids, no worries - my son knows he isn’t allowed to go near animals without permission. If you aren’t comfortable with my son being around, I am available Wed-Fri for solo pet care! My husband is home those days! I understand that all pets have different boundaries & quirks. If you have an escape artist cat living in your home, I will be sure to take extra care opening the doors. If your puppy is working on training, I am happy to help continue to with positive reinforcements. Upon meeting, will can go over all your pets’ needs… and their quirks! There will be no shortage of cuddles & playtime for those pets who need extra attention. And pets who take a little longer to build trust will soon find themselves a new friend to find comfort in!

“Wow - Anna was an amazing sitter! We were a little nervous leaving our pup (Uki) with a new person, but right from the start, we knew she was in for a great experience. Even before we booked, Anne agreed to have my husband come to her house to allow Uki to get acclimated/make sure it was a good fit. My husband instantly felt at ease with Anne and had no concerns leaving Uki with her. During our vacation, Anne sent us daily photos and *the most adorable* daily status updates on how Uki was doing. She went out of her way to make Uki special treats, accommodate her dietary preferences, allowed her on her sofa, and took her on long walks, and showered her with attention.
