About: My experience and background with animals spans over the course 20 years. I've worked as a veterinary technician, fostered nearly 2 dozen puppies for rescue programs, and founded my own successful non-profit rescue & conservation program dedicated to primitive canids. I had the wonderful experience of helping one of these rare dogs whelp & raise a massive litter of 12. I've owned numerous breeds including a Beagle, working-line German Shepherd, working-line Anatolian Shepherd, and numerous primitives such Carolina Dogs, a coydog hybrid, & an imported Canaan Dog. I've trained dogs in sports such as schutzhund & nosework. I established my private dog training business in 2019- specializing in puppies and working dogs such as service & livestock guardian dogs. I've been blessed to own two wonderful cats! On our homestead we had an incredible indoor/outdoor boy that kept the rodents at bay. We also have a sweet, indoor-only kitty that lives the high life with raw food & endless cuddles! I'm thoroughly experienced in caring for senior dogs & cats, administering medications, first aid, & wound care. I've fed numerous specialized diets, including fully raw. I adore the puppy stage- including crate training, potty training, & socialization. I'm a strong advocate for socialization that bolsters confident neutrality. A puppy's endless curiosity is so fun to harness! I enjoy giving dogs a balance of outdoor exercise like hiking, as well as indoor mental enrichment like games and puzzles. A tired dog is a happy dog! I train dogs part time & homeschool my daughter- which lends me a great deal of flexibility in my schedule. I can often accommodate short notice requests. Your beloved pet's safety is critical to me. I'm extremely cautious with opening & closing doors so no animals can slip through a door, check the fit of a dog's collar to prevent potential backing out, & ensure there's nothing a pup or kitty could get into thats potentially dangerous. I have a very strong preference for using martingale collars on dogs for walks to mitigate that risk. I've personally endured the tragedy of my young dog slipping the door and being hit by a car while a sitter was taking care of him- so I assure you I take this very seriously. Building trust with both owners and their pets is pivotal! I'm committed to open communication and honesty. I allow pets to greet me on their terms and understand some animals need a more patient, gentle approach than others. I strive to create a positive, calm environment for your pets- and once I'm trusted by them, I will add the playfulness and affection they deserve!

About: I have always had a dog or cat in my life. Growing up and now I have two dogs of my own who I adore and love! I also have been a dog walker/nanny for two dogs for the past 4 years. One of these dogs was a puppy too. I have a pretty open schedule. I have a few open days a week and don’t mind driving to take care of pets. I am also open to stopping by before and/or after I get off at my other job! I have two dogs and take care of them like they are my kids! About: While I'm just getting started on Rover, i have been pet sitting for many years and it is truly my passion. I can offer you and your family peace of mind! My goal is to make you and your pet as comfortable and secure as possible while you’re apart. I will leave your house exactly the way I found it and am comfortable with cameras and ring doorbells. In addition to pet care, I do have a work from home, 9-5 job at one of the most well known companies in Michigan. This enables me to be available for long periods of time to be with your pet at my house or yours. As long as there is WiFi, I can be there. I am very flexible to your families many different needs. I am happy to meet you and your pets needs in whatever setting is most comfortable. Your pet will have the run of my house during their stay. My house is big enough for your pet to have quiet alone time or be with the people. There is usually always someone home to be with your pet. I treat pets as beloved family members. About: What sets me apart is that I have real hands-on experience with animals of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I’ve owned both big and small dog breeds, cared for puppies, and also have experience with senior dogs. Right now I currently own two dogs of my own, so I understand how important it is to make sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’ve also owned cats, ferrets, and other kinds of animals, which has helped me become very patient, attentive, and adaptable to each pet’s unique needs. I truly love animals and care deeply about their well-being, so I always do my best to treat every pet like they are my own. I currently work from home half of the week so I’m available Friday Saturday Sunday Monday all day and Tuesday-Thursday I have less time personally but both my mom and sister work from home so they would still be taken care of by then I have two of my own dogs one is a senior the other one just turned 1! We love animals in this house! And your fur babies would be looked after with the upmost care! I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for whether they are in my home or in a client’s home. In my home, pets have space to play and get exercise since we have a fenced yard, and there is also a football field right in front of us where they can play too. We also take our dogs on walks often, so pets staying with me would get attention, activity, and lots of care. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. That includes feeding them on time, giving them fresh water, taking them on walks, playing with them, and making sure they get plenty of attention and affection. I always try to make pets feel relaxed and cared for while their owner is away.

Safety is a top priority when it comes to pet care. I always walk dogs on-leash, and supervise any outdoor time in your yard. I also make sure to closely follow any instructions you may have for your dog, especially when it comes to keeping them safe. I have experience with door dashers and will take extra precautions entering and exiting your home if your dog has this tendency.

About: Hi my name is Jackie. I have loved, owned, and cared for animals my entire life. I love ALL animals but am especially fond of dogs and horses. They each have their own unique personalities. I currently own a very shy rescued Bernese Mountain Dog and a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. I also have 4 horses - a pony, a paint, an appaloosa, and a national show horse. I have never met an animal I haven't liked! During my lifetime, I have owned several breeds including: German Shepard’s, a sheepdog poodle mix, mutt's, lots of Akitas, a Great Pyrenees, a Corgi, and a Berner. If you entrust me with your dog, I will treat them like family. He or she will get lots of love, special attention, and cuddles (if they like that). I will listen to your dog's needs and ensure that I give them what you ask for. I have large and small breed experience. I also have over 20 years of dog rescue experience meaning not only have I adopted, but I have also fostered, pulled them from shelters and helped get them into loving homes. It also means I have seen a lot of things and have cared for very sick dogs. I understand several medical diseases among animals. I have cared for many dogs with acute and long-term illnesses. I am very capable of caring for those with special needs! I work from home so your pet will always have company and a watchful eye so you can have a worry-free vacation.

About: I’ve always been the kind of person who really pays attention to animals as individuals. Some want to be your best friend immediately, some need a little time, and some are perfectly happy supervising from across the room until they’ve decided you’re acceptable. I’m good at matching their energy and letting them be themselves. That might mean a long walk and playtime, a quieter day with lots of company, or a little patience while they warm up. I’m comfortable caring for pets of different ages, including seniors, and I can follow medication or special-care instructions when needed. Mostly, I like making sure pets get real attention and companionship while their person is away—not just the basic checklist. And yes, there will probably be pictures. 🐾 My schedule is pretty flexible right now, so I have plenty of room in my day for pet care. Morning walk? Works. Midday visit? Also works. Someone who would simply appreciate a little company during the day? I’m happy to be that person. Having an open schedule also means I’m not trying to squeeze every visit into a tiny window and race off to the next thing. I like having enough time to actually hang out with the pet I’m there to see. In my home, I keep things pretty relaxed and let pets settle in at their own pace. I follow their usual feeding, walk, potty, and sleeping routines as closely as I can, give them plenty of attention, and make sure they have a comfortable place to relax. In a client’s home, I try to keep things feeling as normal as possible for the pet. I stick to the routine and house rules they’re already used to, spend real time with them instead of rushing through the visit, and leave the home the way I found it. Either way, I pay attention to the practical stuff too—secure leashes, doors and gates, safe outdoor time, medications if needed, and whatever little quirks or habits I should know about ahead of time. Basically, I want your pet to feel like their day is still their day, just with me filling in while you’re away. 🐾

Courtney is a home-care nurse, animal lover, & holds years of experience providing in-home care to both people & pets. She is experienced with medication administration, for animals who require it. We do request that pets be comfortable around children, as our homeschooled son is an active participant most days! • In addition to dog & cat care, we are experienced in raising chickens & available to provide drop-in care for your feathered friends. A portion of all revenue will be donated to the Humane Society of Huron Valley, to assist community animals in need. We are fortunate to have a very flexible schedule that allows us to provide care when you need it. While we certainly understand plans change, we do kindly request that any changes or cancellations be communicated promptly. Your home will be respected & should be the last of your concerns while you are away. We the same care & concern will be given to your home as to your pets. We are happy to provide additional services, such as taking in mail, tending to trash service, etc…just ask!

About: I love working with dogs, they bring happiness to my life! I have 2 dogs on my own that I walk every day. I pay very close attention to my dogs when I am walking them. I treat them as I would my own children. My house is dog safe because my own fur babies love to get into things they shouldn't, which has improved my techniques as an owner. As a dog loving house, there are treats and food available always. I am a big believer in fresh water daily for my pets. I have been around dogs since I was little, I love to care for them and know how read their body language. I started pet sitting for my family and friends. I have a fenced house where dogs can play safely. In my house dogs can be on the couch. I will spend time playing and caring for your dog or cat as well as walking with them.
