We had one week before our event, and to make it even worse, it was Memorial Day weekend. Rover sent a list of drop-in sitters to help. Kelena responded very quickly to our request. Had a very successful meeting, the dogs loved her! On the day of the event, she came at the appointed time, sent pictures of our dogs, so we knew she got in okay, and fed and watered them. About: Available to care for large or small, I regularly puppy sit for my uncle's pit and my sister's Yorkie, Cane Corso, and I have a super sloppy loving Pibble of my own! Love puppies and senior dogs alike! Lovingly handling and conscious walker. I am high energy so I love high energy walks or runs with our furry friends and would be happy to provide as much play time as possible in my secure and fenced backyard! I keep our friends on leash for safety-sake unless we are in a fenced Park. Meeting before our initial play time, walks, or feeding time is preferable! I can’t wait to meet your best friend! My best availability is early morning or late afternoon/evening. If you are close enough in proximity/distance then pop-ins for walks may work too. I love sitting on the weekends so y’all can enjoy a getaway or quick business trip! Pet care is my lifestyle. I have a energetic pupperino of my own. Most of our care takes place early AM. Meaning from 5am-11am my dog has my full attention unless there are outstanding and rare appointments of my own. Sometimes she boards with buddies at different daycares or with my family so I can travel for work but that does not take place frequently Learning from you on your routine is best. However, I like to keep a strict household with tons of cuddles to go around. Routine is key and a tired dog is a happy dog. If I have multple dogs, they are usually seperated during down time and if they are boarding with me we crate for safety's sake.

About: I have taken care of pets since I was 5! I have a husky back at home with my parents and I used to have a toy poodle. In addition, I have two horses who are my babies! I was raised and taught on how to take care of animals and I absolutely love any type of pet. A couple years back, my husky gave birth of 6 healthy husky puppies and I was there to help take of care of them with her and to help them grow up. I helped potty train each of them and I would take all the dogs on walks. Since I grew up and raised a big dog, I know how to take care of them and I am comfortable doing so. I can also take care of small and medium dogs as I also some of those size in my youth. Back at home, I often house sit and take car of pets of other family members if they are to go on vacation so I am reliable in that sense as well. I currently work 7am-4pm on the week days but have evenings and weekends completely available! If you go on a weekend trip and need someone to take care of your pet, I am more than welcome to take care of them. If you need someone to walk the dog or to take care of them in the evening so you can go out and relax, I can also do that! I want to ensure that I provide a safe space with each pet I take care of. I make sure that there is clear communication between me and the client so that I know what their needs are and how I can be more helpful. It is important to be informative to the clients as well as making sure to keep your pet safe and I will do my absolute best to do so!

About: I’ve always had a dog or cat in my home! Growing up we always had a Golden Retriever :) My most recent dogs were two senior Chihuahua sisters I adopted and one Olde English Bulldog. They have all crossed the rainbow bridge and though I’m not ready to get another pet, I miss having them in my life. One of my seniors had diabetes so I’m trained at administering insulin as well. I’m a stay at home mom of two little boys I share with their dad, though when I have dogs stay with me they stay with their father. For boarding, I live in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of other dogs and great sidewalks for strolls or power walks if needed. I enjoy going for daily long walks myself would love the company. For walks at your home, I never skimp on time outside or if weather doesn’t permit, extra fun and love inside.

A puppy's endless curiosity is so fun to harness! I enjoy giving dogs a balance of outdoor exercise like hiking, as well as indoor mental enrichment like games and puzzles. I'm extremely cautious with opening & closing doors so no animals can slip through a door, check the fit of a dog's collar to prevent potential backing out, & ensure there's nothing a pup or kitty could get into thats potentially dangerous. I have a very strong preference for using martingale collars on dogs for walks to mitigate that risk. I've personally endured the tragedy of my young dog slipping the door and being hit by a car while a sitter was taking care of him- so I assure you I take this very seriously. Building trust with both owners and their pets is pivotal! I'm committed to open communication and honesty. I allow pets to greet me on their terms and understand some animals need a more patient, gentle approach than others. My goal is to make you and your pet as comfortable and secure as possible while you’re apart. I will leave your house exactly the way I found it and am comfortable with cameras and ring doorbells. I’ve had animals all my life. I am also very passionate about animal welfare and contribute my time and money to many organizations. Many of my repeat customers are not on Rover so I am happy to provide more references upon request. In addition to pet care, I do have a work from home, 9-5 job at one of the most well known companies in Michigan. This enables me to be available for long periods of time to be with your pet at my house or yours. As long as there is WiFi, I can be there. I am very flexible to your families many different needs. I am happy to meet you and your pets needs in whatever setting is most comfortable. Your pet will have the run of my house during their stay. My house is big enough for your pet to have quiet alone time or be with the people. There is usually always someone home to be with your pet. I treat pets as beloved family members. Likewise, I am happy to do it at your home as well.

About: We live in a gated community in Homestead with a fenced in yard. Growing up my family owned various businesses dealing with animals including a kennel, groomer and obedience school. I have been immersed in the dog world since I was a small child. Currently, I have two miniature dachshund who love to go to the beach or lounge around the house. Since we are a military family, I can not have more pets so I decided to start doing rover. My pups are use to being surrounded by dogs and are ready to meet some new friends. I will keep you up to date on your pets day and hope you enjoy photo updates :) I work from home Monday through Friday and am available for doggie daycare + overnights. I can accommodate for dog walking, sitting and weekend care! All surfaces within our house are dog friendly but if desired I am capable of crating dogs. I can assist you with training and can administer medication including pills and shots. My dogs are bell trained and have taught other dogs how to use it to verbalize what they want.

About: I’ve always had a dog or cat in my home! Growing up we always had a Golden Retriever :) My most recent dogs were two senior Chihuahua sisters I adopted and one Olde English Bulldog. They have all crossed the rainbow bridge and though I’m not ready to get another pet, I miss having them in my life. One of my seniors had diabetes so I’m trained at administering insulin as well. I’m a stay at home mom of two little boys I share with their dad, though when I have dogs stay with me they stay with their father. For boarding, I live in a wonderful neighborhood with lots of other dogs and great sidewalks for strolls or power walks if needed. I enjoy going for daily long walks myself would love the company. For walks at your home, I never skimp on time outside or if weather doesn’t permit, extra fun and love inside.
About: Hi, I'm Aubrey! I have always been a dog lover, and throughout my life have been a part of the care of my own dog as well as those of family members. In addition to this, I have been dog sitting for others for over 4 years, working with dogs of different sizes, ages, and temperaments. Safety is a top priority when it comes to pet care. I always walk dogs on-leash, and supervise any outdoor time in your yard. I also make sure to closely follow any instructions you may have for your dog, especially when it comes to keeping them safe. I have experience with door dashers and will take extra precautions entering and exiting your home if your dog has this tendency.
About: I've had dogs my whole life along with fish, birds, reptiles, chinchillas, rabbits and other things. The last 5 years after getting into a new dog breed and wanting to show and do sports and breed myself I've learned alot about behavior and training and want to help others with walks boarding or what ever they need. Dogs is what I do full time so I have time and availability to do alot with yours and flexible as to when and where. We will cater your pets visit to their needs what ever they may be as well as exercise and out door adventures. I have almost an acre of yard and lots of areas near by for exploration and adventure a d exercise

We picked them because they only take 1 dog at a time, they charged the same amount as it would be to board in a kennel, but he got the 1 on 1 love and attention from them and in the comfort of their beautiful home. It was just like going to grandma grandpa's house! We did a meet and greet the day before and my dog seem comfortable with them from the moment we walked in.
