“Emi-Lu is definitely the person you want caring for your dog when you are gone. She is thorough, detailed, kind, and compassionate. She even texted me this morning to make sure she could find my key and to ask how long our dog likes to walk. Emi-Lu is the best sitter on Rover!!”

About: I have always had pets. I grew up on 10 acres and we always had 4-8 dogs at a time. We recently lost a pup and I'm excited to love on yours. We love traveling, so we understand the need for a solid network to help keep them loved and safe. Capable of giving meds/vitamins. I work full time, from home. I have flexibility in my schedule to go for walks, pause for playtime, and would be willing to take visiting pups to our local dog park, if that works for you and your furry friend. I do not have a fenced in yard, but happy to provide potty breaks on a leash. Going for a walk is always an option as I love getting steps in and burning off a little energy. My dog is allowed on our couch, but no other furniture. We have several dog beds throughout the house and happy to accommodate cage training.
“Melanie does an amazing job with both of my dogs. They come back happy, exercised, and ready to relax which I greatly appreciate. I can tell the dogs love their time with her because they will bark out the picture window begging her to come back for more. Melanie is super attentive and willing to accommodate any schedule changes and additional asks, with excellent communication throughout. Highly recommended, and very thankful I was able to find someone my dogs love so much!”

I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for whether they are in my home or in a client’s home. We also take our dogs on walks often, so pets staying with me would get attention, activity, and lots of care. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping pets comfortable by following their normal routine as closely as possible. That includes feeding them on time, giving them fresh water, taking them on walks, playing with them, and making sure they get plenty of attention and affection. I always try to make pets feel relaxed and cared for while their owner is away.

About: We live in a gated community in Homestead with a fenced in yard. Growing up my family owned various businesses dealing with animals including a kennel, groomer and obedience school. I have been immersed in the dog world since I was a small child. Currently, I have two miniature dachshund who love to go to the beach or lounge around the house. Since we are a military family, I can not have more pets so I decided to start doing rover. My pups are use to being surrounded by dogs and are ready to meet some new friends. I will keep you up to date on your pets day and hope you enjoy photo updates :) I work from home Monday through Friday and am available for doggie daycare + overnights. I can accommodate for dog walking, sitting and weekend care! All surfaces within our house are dog friendly but if desired I am capable of crating dogs. I can assist you with training and can administer medication including pills and shots. My dogs are bell trained and have taught other dogs how to use it to verbalize what they want.
“Super happy with Olivia! I am a nervous mom since my dog has only been looked after once before. Olivia was kind enough for my endless texts about the possible gremlin on the end of the leash, otherwise known as my sweet baby. Olivia was kind, respectful, on time, communicative and took great care of my dog. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again.”

About: I’ve always had dogs growing up and currently, as well as small animals such as mice, hamsters and birds. Also, I have often cared for and walked my neighbors golden retriever since he was a puppy ( 4 years old now). One of my dogs I started training 9 years ago when he was a puppy to learn various tricks which he still can do now with ease. I have been shadowed a Veterinarian at Madison Veterinary Hospital and volunteered at a rabbit rescue many times. I adore working and caring for all kinds of pets! I am currently a college student at U of M- Dearborn so I have to commute there 3 times a week (Tuesday-Thursday). Because I commute I am almost always available Fridays through Mondays. I am available during my class days but it depends so let me know! Taking care of your pet will be the highlight of my day! I will always maintain a calm yet positive attitude in client’s home to ensure to the best of my ability that your pet does not get too riled up or anxious during my visit. I will always use proper safety precautions and instructions asked of me by clients so that I can provide the best care possible.
