About: I love dogs, being active, and being outside. My husband and I are teachers and have the summers off, which means, if you book with me during one of our school breaks, your dog will have someone with him/her all day. I love to take the dogs I watch on hikes/walks at different parks, and even on runs-if your dog likes to run. With kids in the house, your dog will get lots of love and attention. If your dog stays with me, I can assure you they will feel like they went on an adventure (lots of activity and excitement). I work full time as a teacher, but have my summers and holidays off. This means, I will be able to provide your dog with lots of attention. In my home, I have a fenced backyard with plenty of space to run. My neighbors also have dogs in their backyard, so your dog will also have friends to interact with. Outside of letting your dog run outside, I will take your dog on daily walks and outings to parks.
“Joy stayed with Julie and her dogs while we went to Chicago for the weekend. It was great to get text and picture updates. Julie was flexible with us when we were running late on the way home. Joy was well cared for.”
About: I’ve grown up with dogs and now have an 8-year-old Golden Retriever. He’s getting a little older but we still enjoy walks around the neighborhood and running around the yard. We like having dog guests to hang out with. I’ve watched dogs for friends and family over the years and enjoy having them around the house. I only host one dog at a time (or multiple dogs from the same family). I can provide daycare and overnight stays in my home. Can be flexible with start and end times and can include pick-up or drop-off, if near by. Your dog’s safety and comfort are the priority here. I only take one dog at a time (or multiple from the same family) to ensure a relaxed environment for the dogs and for me. I work from home, so the dogs are rarely left alone, and they’ll have regular access to a fenced yard, walks, and time to relax inside. I try to keep things low-stress and stick to your dog’s normal routine as much as possible, whether that’s feeding schedules, medications, crate preferences, or exercise needs. My dog is friendly, and comfortable around other dogs, but I always prefer slow introductions to make sure we'll be a good match. I’m happy to send updates and photos during your dog’s stay so you know how they're doing
“Deana and her husband took wonderful care of our dog while we were away! They kept us updated with pictures and messages throughout her stay and made her feel at home. We were grateful to find such a wonderful host for our aging dog!”

“My dog, Mak, had such a good time with Joann and her family! It was clear by how he responded to them when I picked him up and by how exhausted he was after he got home. I received pictures daily and Joann was flexible and accommodating with me. Mak appeared well cared for. I would definitely use Joann again and I would highly recommend her to others.”
“Tyra is an extremely organized and very loving caretaker. She always provides updates to me and it's clear that she will care about our pet as if it was her own. Her house is organized and she keeps record of everything. Definitely will be booking with her again!”
“Amie was great with Hobbes. He was so well cared for and all her family pets helped Hobbes feel right at home. We will be back the next time we go on a trip and need a someone to watch Hobbes. Thanks for the great care.”

“Kristi and Jason are both very friendly and welcoming. They took Pebbles into their own home and kept her safe and happy while I was gone for a long weekend. It was great knowing that Pebbles was getting lots of attention, love, and play time with her new dog friend, Oli. Kristi and Jason sent me updates including pictures of them taking her out for a walk, which was very reassuring . I will definitely use them again and highly recommend them!”

“Debra was a great sitter for our French Bulldog Tina! We felt like Tina was treated like family during her stay. Debra was a timely communicator and provided lots of pics of Tina. We would definitely recommend.”

my dog pam had the absolute best time with holly!! her home and land are beautiful and holly is so welcoming and sweet. pam had her own little retreat while i was away and had no shortage of outdoor time and golf carts rides. holly kept me updated with pictures and messages throughout the stay!

Alyssa is a great sitter and very accommodating. I booked with her and needed to cancel after no longer needing her. She could not offer a refund at that time so I decided to send my dog with her anyway. My dog stayed one night and she then offered a full refund for other unforeseen reasons that weren't her fault, and she didnt have to do that. She offered to brush my dog daily with no extra cost. She usually charges for grooming and I didnt know that nor did I have that listed in my dogs care and she offered to do it anyway. Although my dog didnt stay with her very long, I could tell she has a heart for animals and I can assure you, your fur baby will be in good hands with Alyssa.
