About: I am a Michigan transplant and an animal person with years of experience, including as petsitter, aquarist, veterinarian technician, field scientist, and farmer. I’ve worked with all creatures great and small, and am uniquely qualified to take care of your fish tank, farm animals, and exotic pets. I am also an avid organic gardener and I love to grow my own food. I own a quaint cottage home with a fully fenced yard. All animals are allowed on the furniture so that they can indulge in the comfort they deserve. I love taking quirky puppy pics in beautiful places while on hikes and adventures. Playing is a great way to establish trust and blow off steam, and I try to capture that on camera as much as possible. I am an outdoor enthusiasts, and when I lived out West I regularly offered "adventure" packages for dogs who benefitted from extended hikes. My own dog Velma is famous on the lake for being my paddleboard companion! I would love the opportunity to work with elderly or disabled animals, and am competent administering medications. It would be my pleasure to get to know your dog, cat, chicken, shrimp, goat, bird, hamster, and any other critters in your family! Feel free to contact me for references and resume. “Sam took my beloved 3 year old Archie an Old Boston Bulldog at the last minute. We had a Wedding to attend and I thought sure a friend would look in on him. Everyone was busy. It was Spring Break/Holiday Weekend (Palm Sunday). All Boarding places were full up. Thank goodness for Sam. Upon our arrival and trader of the leash from my hand to Sam’s Assistant Joe. Archie walked away willingly & anxious to meet the other dogs staying there that he could sniff out before even entering the house. Sam sent pictures and videos of Archie. All was well snd Archie was a “Happy Boy!” We could relax and enjoy the wedding!!! We dropped him off at 3:30 Friday and picked him up at 4 the following Saturday. Archie loved it and slept sound from his great stay. I highly recommend and will use Sam again next time we need loving care for our boy ?”
