About: What sets me apart is the level of personalized care and attention I give every dog. I take the time to understand their routines, personalities, and needs so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you're away. I treat every pup like family, keep communication open with regular updates and photos, and make sure their time with me feels like a vacation, not a separation. I am away from home about 2-4 hours on any weekday as I am back in school. I am usually home on the weekends and will be sure to adjust my schedule as needed for any dog's requirements during their stays. Any dogs in my care will get a ton of attention and I will learn their nuances. I will stick strictly to any instructions provided to me by the pet's parents and otherwise just make sure they have a good time and don't get into any trouble.
“Lawrence did a great job taking care of our Bella! He gave updates and made us feel she was well taken care of! Will definitely book again with Lawrence next time we go out of town .”

“Samantha has been doing drop ins with my dog for a couple of weeks now. She's been great, my dog loves her and is so comfortable with her, which is a relief as a mum of an anxious dog. She followed all my instructions and requests to the T, and has been flexible and accommodating to my changing schedule which is a great plus.”

“Ana was very responsive and extremely easy to communicate with. She kept us updated at all times and took exceptionally good care of our fur babies! I highly recommend Ana and would not hesitate to use her again!”
“Erica is the absolute best. She is always on time and provides plenty of pictures and feedback about the visit. We travel a lot and have never had any concerns having Erica help take care of our dog. She brings peace of mind that everything is being taken care of and our little girl is happy.”

About: I have been a Licensed Veterinary Nurse for 15+ years. I haves worked at emergency vet hospitals, and small animal hospitals. I have been Fear Free Certified, which is low stress handling. I have experience giving medications, and have worked with diabetic pets. I would be happy to have the opportunity to care for your pet! If you have ever had a hard time finding boarding because of a pets medical needs, please contact me! My school attending kids are now 6 and 8 and love animals as well. I am home most of the day, (weekdays and weekends) and have reliable transportation. We have 1 small dog (Boston terrier) and 2 cats at our home. I can board a few dogs at my house, which has a large fenced in back yard. Or I can visit your home to care for your pet if that is where they are the most comfortable. I am happy to visit before bed, and in the mornings, but I don’t stay at other houses overnight. I know where all the closest emergency animal hospitals are in the area. I do require a current rabies vaccine on your dog or cat. If boarding at my home, we can discuss recommended vaccines for your pet. All of my pets are on a monthly heartworm and flea/tick medication year round. Yours should be too!
“We love Charlene, we had a few last minute changes and she was always willing to work with us! Both times we have used Charlene we came home to well groomed and well loved cats. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi there! My name is Ariel, I am 29 years old and I love animals! I have a dog of my own named Peanut, he is a golden retriever who is very friendly and gets a long with all dogs. I’ve grown up with dogs since I was born so I know exactly what kind of care they need. I have a few parks close by to where I live and would love to take your dog for a great nature walk. If you have any questions and are interested in my services please give me a call or message! I look forward to hearing from you and spending time with your dog! About: I can’t remember a time when I didn’t have an animal in my life. From shepherds to terriers, I have experience with large, medium, and small dogs. I also have experience caring for cats of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I’ve trained my own dogs, cared for foster puppies, and have experience handling pets with different needs and temperaments. I’m very open to feedback, learn quickly, and always strive to provide the best care possible. When you book with me, you can expect meaningful, attentive, and reliable care for your pet. Your fur baby will have my full attention, and I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for at all times. Rain or shine, I will show up and give every pet the patience, attention, and care they deserve! Over the summer I am working fully from home. Which means I have an open schedule to care for your pets. I am open from morning to night. I can do daily visits, weekly visits, and more. When house sitting for your pets, I prioritize a respectful and responsible approach. I value clear boundaries in my own life, so I make it a point to treat your home and privacy with that same high level of integrity. I’m fully open to your specific rules and feedback, and I’ll keep you connected with consistent updates so you never have to wonder how things are going.
About: I love and care for all types of pets. I began dog sitting and walking for neighbors, friends, and family when I was 14, but I learned how to care for pets at home from a very young age. I grew up around dogs and cats, and my family has always had at least two pets at a time. I recently graduated with my master’s degree and started working in my field. My job is hybrid, with 50% of my time in the office and 50% working from home, so my schedule is currently very flexible. I also love hiking and exploring new trails! I’m excited to have my own puppy one day, but in the meantime, I would be more than happy to care for your fur baby so you can enjoy your vacation or work trips worry-free. I understand that every pet has different needs, and every home has different rules. I will make sure to carefully follow all safety instructions and house rules while caring for your furry baby/babies. My schedule is very flexible because I work a hybrid job, spending part of my week working from home. This allows me to provide pets with plenty of attention, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. I’m available for morning, evening, and weekend care, and I always make time to follow each pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. Safety is my biggest priority. I have been watching dogs for a few years now, and one thing I notice is every dog owner has their own definition of what safety looks like for their pet. I always try my best to keep the routine that the dog owners have already established for their pet, so that the pet does not feel unsafe or stressed.

“She was super kind and did a great job with our gal. It was a bit last minute for us to hire her but she was on the ball and took care of her. 10/10 recommend Arden for any animal care. She even noticed our gecko and reached out to see if he needed anything as well.”

About: I grew up helping train my grandparents’ corgi, and I still help my sister with her dog when she’s at work — letting him out, feeding him, and taking him for walks. So I’m very comfortable around dogs and can care for them when needed. That said, I naturally connect with cats and prefer working with them, so my services are focused on calm, low‑stress cat care. I work full‑time from home, which gives me a very steady routine and plenty of flexibility for pet care. I can easily step out for feedings, litter scooping, or home check‑ins throughout the day. I build visits around your pet’s normal schedule so they stay comfortable and relaxed. Evenings and weekends are usually open, so I’m able to give consistent attention and keep your pet’s routine running smoothly. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress‑free as possible. I handle feeding, fresh water, litter scooping, and any medications exactly the way you outline. I spend quiet time with your cat so they feel comfortable, whether that means playtime, brushing, or simply sitting nearby while they warm up on their own terms. I can also collect mail or some small house stuff as needed!
“Noah is an "Exceptional" Young Man! He is very caring my Dog "Loved" him from the first meet and greet. Noah was very punctual and always made sure my dog had "Everything"he needed each day. That means the "World " to me, because I was out of town. Noah thought of things to do for my dog that I had forgotten to tell him. I have an extended stay out of town, and Noah is my choice for a second time! Thank You, Noah, "Endlessly" for taking excellent 24 Karat Gold care of my fur baby!”

About: We live in a gated community in Homestead with a fenced in yard. Growing up my family owned various businesses dealing with animals including a kennel, groomer and obedience school. I have been immersed in the dog world since I was a small child. Currently, I have two miniature dachshund who love to go to the beach or lounge around the house. Since we are a military family, I can not have more pets so I decided to start doing rover. My pups are use to being surrounded by dogs and are ready to meet some new friends. I will keep you up to date on your pets day and hope you enjoy photo updates :) I work from home Monday through Friday and am available for doggie daycare + overnights. I can accommodate for dog walking, sitting and weekend care! All surfaces within our house are dog friendly but if desired I am capable of crating dogs. I can assist you with training and can administer medication including pills and shots. My dogs are bell trained and have taught other dogs how to use it to verbalize what they want.
About: Hello! I’m Grace aka the dog whisperer 😊 Caring for dogs is truly my passion, both at home and professionally. I have two dogs of my own, one who is two years old and one who is eleven, so I’m very familiar with the different needs, energy levels, temperaments, and care styles that come with both puppies/young adults and senior dogs. Aside from that, I have a rescue dog of my own who is two years old. I currently work as a canine care specialist and kennel attendant, where I care for dogs every day of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. From very small dogs to large breeds like Great Danes and Great Pyrenees, I’m comfortable handling a wide range of needs. My responsibilities include feeding, potty breaks, safe socialization, and making sure each dog is comfortable, secure, and well cared for. I approach every dog with patience, compassion, and attentiveness, and I always treat them as if they were my own. My goal is to provide loving, reliable care that helps both pets and owners feel at ease. Pet care is already a part of my everyday routine, both personally and professionally. I work in the pet care field during the week, so caring for animals is something I do daily and genuinely enjoy. At this time, my availability is primarily on weekends, which are generally open unless I communicate otherwise in advance. I’m very upfront about my schedule and always make sure expectations are clear so pets receive consistent, attentive care. Because pet care is already a major part of my life, I’m comfortable building it into my routine and giving each dog the time, patience, and attention they deserve. Safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, loving, and secure environment. Exercise and playtime are a big part of my approach to care. I make sure each dog gets appropriate physical activity and mental stimulation based on their age, energy level, and routine. Along with plenty of play and affection, I stay consistent with the basics, regular feeding, fresh water at all times, and close attention to each pet’s needs and behavior. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with complete respect. I follow all instructions carefully, maintain routines, and make sure the home is left just as it was found. I believe trust is earned through reliability, communication, and genuine care, and I always strive to make both pets and owners feel comfortable and at ease.

We are returning clients! Corina usually takes care of our cat but we decided to leave our golden doodle home this time in her care. She is tentative, caring, loving, and so wonderful to our babies! We feel so comfortable with her coming and going from our home but also making sure our fur babies are more than taken care of! I can’t recommend her enough!!!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
