About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my hands-on experience with high-energy and challenging dogs, especially large breeds. I worked for 3 years in a daycare/boarding facility where I managed 40+ dogs on my own and up to 90+ with a team. I regularly handled strong or reactive dogs that others weren’t comfortable with, and I’m confident reading body language and stepping in early to prevent issues. Outside of that, I’ve done paid pet sitting for family and friends and volunteered at no-kill shelters, where I handled feeding, cleaning, and administering medications as needed. I’m comfortable with puppies who need structure and basic training, as well as senior or reactive dogs that require patience, control, and close attention to behavior. Having a reactive dog myself has also strengthened my ability to manage triggers and maintain safe, stable environments. My focus is on keeping pets safe, consistent, and well cared for, and I look forward to providing that for your dog. I’m currently not working another job, which allows me to fully prioritize each booking. I’m available from noon onward, with flexibility for visits, walks, and extended stays as needed. I’m unavailable on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with occasional availability on Thursdays. This is my current schedule due to standing commitments, though it may change in the future. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their normal routine so they stay comfortable and relaxed. That includes feeding, walks, exercise, playtime, cleaning up after them, and keeping a close eye on their behavior and safety. I pay attention to body language and adjust based on each dog’s personality, especially for higher-energy or reactive pets. I also follow all instructions and treat every home with respect, keeping things clean, organized, and as you left them. My goal is to keep your pet safe, cared for, and in good paws while you’re away.

About: I have been a Licensed Veterinary Nurse for 15+ years. I haves worked at emergency vet hospitals, and small animal hospitals. I have been Fear Free Certified, which is low stress handling. I have experience giving medications, and have worked with diabetic pets. I would be happy to have the opportunity to care for your pet! If you have ever had a hard time finding boarding because of a pets medical needs, please contact me! My school attending kids are now 6 and 8 and love animals as well. I am home most of the day, (weekdays and weekends) and have reliable transportation. We have 1 small dog (Boston terrier) and 2 cats at our home. I can board a few dogs at my house, which has a large fenced in back yard. Or I can visit your home to care for your pet if that is where they are the most comfortable. I am happy to visit before bed, and in the mornings, but I don’t stay at other houses overnight. I know where all the closest emergency animal hospitals are in the area. I do require a current rabies vaccine on your dog or cat. If boarding at my home, we can discuss recommended vaccines for your pet. All of my pets are on a monthly heartworm and flea/tick medication year round. Yours should be too!

About: I am Petrina, a retired Social Worker, who would LOVE to care for your pets after 35 years of caring for the humans. With just Mario, (my little guy) and me my life style is one of yoga, reading, walking, crafts, biking, cooking just relaxed living and good health. I have experience with dog sitting for my friends. Friends call on me for reliable, safe care of their pets, and I have never failed them. My environment is very dog friendly. The family room goes out to a large plush green space backyard, that is fence secured, with birds, squirrels, chipmunks and hopping frogs for fun. Here pets have active play, rest, relaxation and voiding. This family room can be closed off for potty training if necessary. However, entire home is accessible to pets all day long. A typical day is purposeful, with varied degrees of activity, (depending on needs of pet), and filled with attentive love. A long walking trail and dog park are adjacent to my subdivision where I can take a slow or active walk with lots of socialization if needed and desirable. Pets can really sleep in dog beds or cages or with me or Mario. I can accommodate all special needs pets and have extensive experience with medication administration to cats and dogs.

About: There is no amount of words that I can use to describe my passion for our four legged furry friends. Each one of us chooses a dog based off of our characteristics.I love seeing the human-dog relationship. My dog Scout is now 8 and a rescued pure bred mutt! She is one of a kind. Dogs bring out my passion, they are such smart creatures. It is a blessing the Lord created them because I can not imagine a world without our precious friends in our lives. My love for dogs started when I was six, my grandma had a beautiful collie named Shadow, but I was his shadow: I followed him absolutely everywhere. I remember each christmas I would fall asleep with him under the christmas tree. Having to put him down was honestly the hardest and most saddening events that I can remember. They work their way into our hearts and families. I have taken care of many breeds of dogs from the smallest pomeranian to Chief the great dane! They do get quite pampered care with me I have to say. The owners I work with have all loved the care and passion I put into taking individual care of each other pets. Its like taking care of a child. No child is the same. You have to love and treat them each in their own special way to make them feel at home and protected. Every animal deserves the utmost care! I take pride in being able to say I truly love to make every dogs day a pampered one! I currently am working part time in my evenings as a caregiver for two young adults with physical and cognitive disabilities. So my day schedule is pretty open. Thursdays I work 10 to 7 but can work in a break in the day for your dog and then just feed before or after work. My dog scout is a princess, not overly fond of sharing her space, but that comes from her past as a rescue. So I am willing to care for your pup in their home environment. Helping them feel safe and loved when owners are away.

About: We live in a gated community in Homestead with a fenced in yard. Growing up my family owned various businesses dealing with animals including a kennel, groomer and obedience school. I have been immersed in the dog world since I was a small child. Currently, I have two miniature dachshund who love to go to the beach or lounge around the house. Since we are a military family, I can not have more pets so I decided to start doing rover. My pups are use to being surrounded by dogs and are ready to meet some new friends. I will keep you up to date on your pets day and hope you enjoy photo updates :) I work from home Monday through Friday and am available for doggie daycare + overnights. I can accommodate for dog walking, sitting and weekend care! All surfaces within our house are dog friendly but if desired I am capable of crating dogs. I can assist you with training and can administer medication including pills and shots. My dogs are bell trained and have taught other dogs how to use it to verbalize what they want.
