“Jessica has been great with our dogs. We had a few special instructions and she took care of everything we needed. Our dogs get let out twice a week by her, and sometimes she stays longer than we asked. She’s very good at updating our Rover account with all of the details and photos from each visit!”

“Theresa dropped in twice a day to care for our cat while we were on vacation for 6 days. Izzy is very shy around people he does not know but by the 3rd day he was very comfortable with Theresa. Throughout the week we looked forward to the pictures that Theresa would send us of him getting head rubs, following her around, eating and talking. Additionally she gave him fresh water, cleaned the litter box and even brought in our mail for us. She did an exceptional job and we will definitely use her again. Thanks Theresa!!!”

“My partner and I recently had to leave town for a wedding. We had never used Rover before, and were curious how we would feel having someone new watch our cats while gone for the weekend. Kelly went above and beyond for us! She sent detailed updates and photos every visit, which was such a fun treat for us. It really gave us a peace of mind. Kelly made sure to keep them on their feeding schedule, and provide them with plenty of treats and playtime. 10/10!”

Our family includes myself and my husband, and our two kids who are 9 and 15. We do not have any pets in our home right now, so your pet will be the center of attention! Please feel free to contact me with any questions! I look forward to meeting your furry loved ones. I’m currently working remote, with one day in the office so I am able to do frequent bathroom breaks and afternoon walks. My husband is able to assist with care on my days in office. I aim to keep to your pets normal schedule as much as possible. I have a fully fenced yard. My kids are 9 & 15 and they adore animals.
“Samantha was wonderful! Very reliable, she sent a lot of pictures each visit and it was clear our dogs love her. She went above and beyond to make sure they were happy and comfortable. She played fetch and took them on a walk. We will definitely book her again.”
About: My family and I raised a pug named Poppy for 13 years and later another named Daisy. Poppy passed away last year after living a full and loving life under our care. I still miss her every day! Dogs seem to be drawn to me everywhere I go. And I’m always happy to play with them any opportunity I get! Don’t be surprised if you fur baby begs you to come back after our time together. Background in semi professional baseball and financial wealth management I work typically 9-6 on weekdays with some flexibility. Occasionally later depending on client meetings. Weekends I’m normally free, especially during the winter. I do play in multiple sports leagues, but those are usually on weeknights. I have a fenced in yard with a dog lead and is located within a subdivision away from a busy street. I also have a big open basement with padded floors for your pet to run around and play in. My house is very clean and even has brand new carpets. I allow pets on furniture, I just typically wipe off their paws after we return from walks or playing in the yard. My cat is friendly, but I also have a guest room upstairs she can stay in when company is over. No small objects or choking hazards around and very few breakable items for them to worry about running into.
“This my first time using Rover and Lizzi was amazing! She took great care of my cat and left detailed, sweet updates. Will definitely use her services if needed / she’s available.”

“Candace was awesome with our four cats home together for the holiday. She was flexible and accommodating for our last minute trip and came over to meet the cats the same day we booked her. She sent detailed updates and photos during her drop-in visits. We adopted a cat family during quarantine, so they are shy with new people, but Candace was great with them.”
“Wonderful first experience with Abbey! Great communication and my little Stella is usually so shy and barky to new people, but she warmed up instantly to Abbey on our initial meet and greet. I will definitely be booking again, thank you :)”

About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong dog lover with hands-on experience caring for pups of all sizes and energy levels. My pet care journey began while working at a professional dog daycare/boarding kennel, where I gained experience with canine behavior, feeding schedules, and administering medication. That experience gave me a solid foundation in safety, structure, and understanding dogs’ unique needs. Outside of that, I’ve been the go-to dog sitter and walker for friends and family for years. Whether it’s overnight boarding or daily walks, I’m known for being reliable, punctual, and genuinely loving toward every dog I meet. I treat every pet like they’re my own—with lots of affection, attention, and tailored care. I pride myself on creating a safe, fun, and comforting environment whether your pup is boarding or just a walk around the block. You can count on me to communicate clearly, show up on time, and make sure your dog gets the love, exercise, and care they deserve. I’m currently working part-time and have open availability for dog walking Sunday-Tuesday, anytime before 10am on Wednesdays, after 1pm on Thursdays, and after 3pm Friday & Saturday. Boarding availability can be discussed :) Whether I’m staying overnight or just spending the day, I’m committed to providing a calm, caring environment where your pup feels safe and loved. I treat every dog like family and always focus on their comfort, routine, and happiness.

So I’m happy to discuss a schedule that works for you! All animals are different and I take my queues from them as to how comfortable they are being approached. I additionally make sure to ask specifics about routine and likes/ dislikes before caring or walking any pets.

Emily has been great with our Lucy! You can tell she has a lot of experience and is a pet lover. Our Lucy who can be timid and high anxiety really took to Emily and even sat on her lap! Emily’s communication prior was great and she kept us informed on the visit including photos. We would highly recommend her especially if your pet has special needs.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
