“Kelly took excellent care of our two cats while we were away. You could really tell she really loved animals at the meet and greet. She spent quality time playing, petting and feeding them. Their litter was kept clean and she even sent frequent updates and kept us in the loop every time she went over. You could tell our cats enjoyed her visits by her photos. It was nice to not feel worried about their care while on vacation.”

Growing up, my family had a Great Pyrenees, Border Collies, a Westie, and a Yorkie, and I currently have a Border Collie/Golden Retriever puppy named Finn. I understand that every dog has unique needs, whether that’s plenty of exercise and playtime or a calm comforting environment. As an active person, I love walks, outdoor adventures, and keeping dogs engaged, but I’m also more than happy to match your pet’s energy level and routine. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry family member, and I will care for your dog as if they were my own, with lots of love, attention, patience, and care. My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel comfortable and at ease while you’re apart! My schedule is currently very flexible, and I have availability for drop in visits on weekdays until 3:00 PM. I’m happy to work with a variety of time slots and will do my best to accommodate your pet’s routine. Consistency is important for dogs, and I strive to provide dependable care that fits seamlessly into their day! My dog’s safety, happiness, and well being are always my top priority. I keep Finn on a consistent feeding schedule and make sure he gets plenty of daily exercise, enrichment, and attention. We go on walks every day, spend time playing outside, and on warmer days he loves cooling off in his kiddie pool. I also have a fully fenced yard where dogs can safely play and burn off energy while being supervised. Socialization is extremely important, so Finn enjoys spending time with other dogs and running around outside with them. Most importantly, I make sure he feels loved, safe, and included in my daily life so that means he joins me on my Starbucks run for a pup cup! I understand how important trust is when someone else is caring for your pet, and I will provide a safe, reliable, and loving environment where your dog is cared for as if they were my own.

About: I have the patience to work with most breeds but the larger ones are my favorite. I’ve had or lived with pets my entire life and will care for yours like it’s my own. Walks, feedings, even baths if they’re up for it! I’m no dog specialist, just someone who genuinely enjoys they’re company. If your dog needs any accommodations (extra loving!) I’ll do my best to meet your expectation. I understand trusting a stranger with your pet can be unnerving but I promise to provide the best service I can. Your dog won’t even know you’re gone! But hey no pressure, choose what’s best for you and your pet. Whether that’s me or someone else, if you’re happy I’m happy. But hopefully you choose me! I’m moving back to Michigan this summer and will not start my full-time position until August. So I have a pretty flexible schedule until then and I would love to fill my time loving on some fluffy babies! I will care for your pet in your home and do all that you have instructed. I know it could be a little stressful to leave your dog and they may worry, but I’ll do my best to make sure they feel comfortable and at ease.

I have three loving children, ages 12, 15 and 17 who love to walk and play with dogs! Our fenced in back yard is perfect to accommodate your pet.
