About: When I take care of pets, I treat your home as my own and go above and behind to treat your fur babies as I would my own. My compassion and work ethic make me a perfect candidate for any pet sitting job. I work full time in an office but am very used to taking care of pets in other people’s homes. Due to my work schedule, weekends are best since I am able to spend more time with the pets. However I am totally fine with commuting from other homes to my office if that works for my clients. I figure out what each pet needs and I act accordingly. I treat clients’ home (and their pets) as I would my own: respectfully and with great attention and care. About: Hi! I’m Kat! 🐾 I am new to Rover, I’m hopeful to start with walks and begin drop ins for fur babies. I have spent much of my life around & caring for animals, I’ve assisted in volunteer work at a shelter working with animals of all type & size! I have experience with animals with: special needs, medical conditions & special diets. Pet care & well being is my priority, I want to ensure a happy and comfortable experience for you & your animal companion. Currently, I’m working part time! I’m hoping to spend more time with animals outside, I am an outdoor enthusiast. I have a flexible schedule and am eager to spread some joy and love! I’d love to eventually transition to working with animals full time. Health, safety and well being of an animal is a priority to me, in my personal life and in the experience I have caring for animals, it is not something I take a risk on and is my priority as a guardian and caretaker, I do not take any chances with possibilities of potential harm or safety of an animal. I also keep extra leashes, bowls, bathroom bags and safety gear in my car at all times just in case. I carry water with me on walks as well for our furry friend!

About: Hi! I'm David. I grew up in Michigan surrounded by dogs and farm animals. Labrador Retrievers were the family favorite, however, I rescued a Basset Hound Mix during the pandemic. One of my college jobs was working at a doggy daycare center. I was quickly promoted to manager and ended up rolling out a marketing plan for the business. It was a blast! I live in Metro Detroit (Oak Park) and am currently "funemployed" which means I have all the time in the world to take care of your furry companions! I take pride in my ability to be patient, gentle, responsible, and fun with all kinds of dogs, sizes, and ages. I have vast and diverse experience taking care of animals including dogs, cats, chickens, turkeys, horses, and birds. During college, I volunteered at various humane societies and frequently dog sat for friends and relatives. I was also instrumental in co-training a Golden Retriever to be a service dog. That was a highly rewarding experience. My approach to dog care is to start with the owner and get to know the dog through their eyes. I then channel that love and devotion to esteemed care, ensuring that walks are done frequently, food is out at a responsible time, and that enough attention is spent with the dog. I'm an outdoors guy and walk whenever I get the chance, so rest assured that your dog will get a healthy amount of outside time. If you've made it this far and like what you've read, let's schedule a meet-and-greet! I take my pup for walks at least four times a day, and let her roam free in my fenced in backyard. I provide attention and care throughout the day! I'm very respectful not only of my client's pets, but also their homes. I'm very trustworthy and neat/tidy. I've dog sat in many homes both for the day and overnight. I treat other people's property as if it were my own.

About: I have had pets my entire life. I went through some obedience training with my last dog. My daughter is 13 and has been around dogs all her life as well. We would love to cuddle and play with your dog while they are in our care! We have a big fenced-in yard and a great neighborhood for walks. We are available to board your dog on weekends, in particular, but weekdays as well if they are able to be inside for a long portion of the day. We are also available to do evening and weekend drop ins and/or walks. We are very recently pet free so all our love will go to your pet! I work full-time, Monday through Friday. I do work one Saturday/month but have a day off in the week. My daughter is in school until 3:30. Depending on the time of year, she may be home by 3:45. She does participate in a fall sport and dance so some evenings we are gone for about 90 minutes while she is at dance class. Our weekends are generally very open, but we would not take a dog on weekends we had limited availability. We have a large, fenced-in yard and live in a family-friendly neighborhood. We would follow all guidelines for walking, bed time, feeding, etc. provided by the pet parent. We will treat your dog as our own.

About: Hello! I am an active and reliable animal lover with years of experience pet-sitting. I value open communication and strive to offer my clients peace of mind while their fur babies are in my care. I specialize in high-energy dogs that need a good long walk/run to be happy/healthy (and sane 😅). But I promise I'm also great with mellow couch potatoes. And I excel at belly rubs! I am a medical student trying to save up to pay for my final semester of medical school, studying for board exams, and hopefully getting to hang out with some awesome pets while doing so. My schedule is wide open and flexible for house-sitting, drop-ins, and walks/runs. I am flexible, accommodating, and can do last-minute requests! I understand that fur-babies are part of the family, and I treat them with the love, respect, and dignity they deserve. I pride myself in treating each pet as in individual and respecting any schedules and guidelines offered by the family. During weekends, my schedule is highly flexible as I don't have children or a dog of my own at the moment. I have a partially fenced yard where I can supervise your dog while they're on a tether. However, I prefer taking them for walks around the neighborhood, or if you're comfortable with it, exploring trails. I am extremely attentive and vigilant during these outings.
