I am currently available for drop-ins or walks during weekday early mornings/evenings or weekends. I do have a full time job so for weekdays, I can be available in the early morning, late afternoon, or evening. I aim to be as flexible as possible.

I have one dog, Janie, a 6 year-old energetic, friendly and very mischievous beagle mix. We go on 2 walks daily, hikes on the weekends, and cuddle on the couch whenever possible. Janie has Addison’s disease and I give her daily medications and monthly injections. She’s a happy and healthy dog. I have a 2 cats, a 2 year old tuxedo cat named Willow and a 1 year old named Masala. Their high energy and cuteness keeps me on my toes.

I would first like to know the essentials about their health needs. Do they take any meds? Special food needs? I would also like to know their preferences around other people and dogs. Do they like other dogs? How are they with new people? And of course, I would like to know what makes your dog happy. Do they prefer running, walking, or going to the park, both?
A typical day
I will offer as much affection and/or playtime as your pet would like. I will make sure to follow all written instructions for the care of your pets, including providing food and water, cleaning the litter box, taking on walks, or providing any necessary medications.

*As of 1/6/26- accepting new clients!* Hello! My name is Audrey- I am an animal lover, and experienced rover animal caretaker. I live in Oak Park, Michigan and am a proud pet mom of 1 beagle mix and 2 young cats. I am currently available for drop-ins (cats or dogs) & walks. I have 7+ years of experience on Rover. I am experienced around a wide spectrum of dogs and cats. I’ve worked with dog breeds ranging from English Springer Spaniels, Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, mixed breeds, and smaller dog breeds such as corgis or pugs... just to name a few :-) Since childhood, pets have always an integral member of the family. In graduate school, I routinely pet-sat for two lab mixes over two years. I love the work. I am happy to walk, run, play with dogs, feed, and give medications. I am so thrilled to meet and care for your four-legged pet! -Audrey
