I treasure every moment I get to spend with animal friends! It would be a treat to get to care for your pet. I have loads of caretaking experience, both with pets and people, as a former au pair and a lifelong animal lover. I have a cat of my own at home who I’m completely obsessed with, so I know the level of care I’d want from a sitter and I bring that to my work. I have experience house sitting and pride myself on taking excellent care of your pets and your home. I am very comfortable around dogs of all shapes and sizes! Theres nothing better than when you’ve earned the trust of a dog, big or small, who just wants to protect his or her home. And I’m happy to work towards that if your pet has those needs. I've got wide availability as I’m just getting back on the market here in Detroit.

I take great care in learning your pet’s routine in a preliminary visit. I’ll have questions prepared about their training and commands, bathroom patterns, eating patterns, special needs, walking routine, and more, dependent upon the pet. I also take great care to ensure that your home is cared for and clean for your return.

Genevieve did a great job taking care of Bohdi and they managed to have a lot of fun despite being stuck inside a lot with some rainy weather. She touched base every day to send photos and let me know how my boy was doing. Came home to a happy dog!
Genevieve was so great with our dogs. She made sure to understand our dogs needs beforehand, was very communicative while we were away, and sent tons of pictures. Highly recommend!
Genevieve was absolutely fantastic! I am always worried about leaving Pepper because she doesn’t like new people initially but she seemed to warm up to Genevieve very well. Genevieve was patient, friendly, and accommodating to any needs I had. She sent the cutest pictures and “pupdates” often to keep me in the loop. Since it was Christmas, she also opened gifts with Pepper on that day and sent fun videos. She took great care of our house as well. Cleaned up after herself and went over and beyond doing laundry as well. I would definitely recommend Genevieve to anyone who is looking for a reliable sitter for their fur babies. We will be using her again soon! Thanks for everything!
Genevieve is an extraordinarily responsible and trustworthy individual. She has house sat for us on numerous occasions, and more importantly takes care of our pets. Hiring Genevieve makes one less thing to worry about when we go out of town! We will always use Genevieve for our fur babies!

Schedule
I take animal care very seriously and will ensure that your pet is my priority. I prefer to spend time hanging out with your pet but will likely step away for a couple hours mid-day. I am currently building my network so I can get a job locally, so occasionally I have networking events or I have to run to the grocery store or some such thing. But mostly, I’m reading on the couch with your fur baby.
