My pet care journey began while working at a professional dog daycare/boarding kennel, where I gained experience with canine behavior, feeding schedules, and administering medication. That experience gave me a solid foundation in safety, structure, and understanding dogs’ unique needs. Outside of that, I’ve been the go-to dog sitter and walker for friends and family for years. About: I have 1 cat at home and my partner has 1 dog who basically acts like a cat, so I am looking for an excuse to be around dogs (preferably <25 lbs) who may need some company. Friends and family have entrusted me with their pets for years (both for walks and overnight stays) and I take that responsibility incredibly seriously. I have a full-time hybrid position that has me at home on Mondays and Fridays with some flexibility from Tuesday - Thursday. On days when I am in the office, I will be home before 4:30pm for any afternoon feeding times. I am also available on weekends with advanced notice. I have a large unfenced yard and live less than a block away from a dedicated dog park. I have one small dog (15 lbs) and one cat who are happy to keep your pet company or can be kept in a different part of the house depending on your needs.

About: Our family absolutely adores dogs. We have experience boarding up to several weeks at a time while owners are on vacations. Your pup will be pampered with snuggles and love. Our home has a fenced in backyard with plenty of room to run around. I currently work weekdays, so Friday at 6 PM until Sunday at 7 PM is completely available for overnights or daytime visits. Also available for walks after 6 PM Monday through Thursday. I have a fenced in backyard and will keep your dog within sight at all times. My home comes with 2 assistants; my 8 and 11 year old sons who LOVE dogs and will play endlessly with your pet.

Over the years, I have also watched my neighbors’ dogs, providing feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and plenty of attention while their owners were away. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable when their owners are not home, and I will follow your care instructions closely. I am also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your dog is well cared for. I am currently not working leaving me available for stopping in for visits or taking for walks. I love exercise and being outside! To have a companion with me would be great! Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. During walks, I will use the leash and equipment you provide, remain aware of our surroundings, avoid unsafe situations, and follow any instructions regarding other dogs, people, traffic, or preferred walking routes. For drop-in visits, I will carefully follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding, fresh water, bathroom breaks, playtime, and companionship. I will make sure doors, gates, and crates are securely closed before leaving. I will also respect your home, clean up after your pet as needed, and send updates and photos so you know your pet is safe and well cared for.

About: I'm a huge pet lover and love meeting new pets and their unique personalities! My husband and I have a golden doodle puppy named Rosie! She is playful and is looking for a best friend in every dog she meets! There is one child in our home (3 years) who loves having our dog visitors. We love going on walks around my neighborhood and would love to take your pet with us! My husband and I are both animal lovers and work in the schools with summers off. I'm flexible with any dog's special needs or accommodations. It's important to know who your loved one is staying with so ask me anything and check in as needed! When I’m away from Rosie I love getting pictures of her so I will happily send you as many pictures as you’d like while your dog is with us. Let me know if you have any questions! My husband and I are off work in the summer as we work in the schools. We love spending our time outside with our dog and little girl! We’re accommodating for a variety of needs in our home. Whether crated, uncrated, needing to eat away from other dogs, bathroom breaks, etc. Our Rosie loves being outside and asks probably once an hour to go out (during waking hours) to go out, even just to lay down.

We have two dogs who were both rescued from Amish puppy mills where they were kept in a tiny stall as mama breeders producing litter after litter of puppies for their whole lives, so they have incredible trauma and are very wary of trusting humans due to their pasts. Because of this, we consider them special needs dogs. Lara and jonathon are absolutely amazing with them, and I would not be able to ever leave town if I hadn’t found someone that I can completely trust and that has the patience and empathy to take care of our dogs. They are understanding and caring, and amazing at keeping us updated throughout the day. We have used them twice for 2 long trips and plan to continue in the future- they are so patient and loving with our dogs and have absolutely been a huge part of Cici and Layla’s recovery and rehabilitation journey. I couldn’t recommend them more. They follow directions perfectly and even dealt with our kitchen sink that started leaking when we were away. We are sooo grateful to have found them for our sweet girls!”

Pet care fits naturally into my routine since I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. This allows me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and visits throughout the day, give pets consistent attention, and adjust timing based on their needs and your preferences. I make sure every pet has fresh water, a clean and comfortable space, and plenty of attention. After walks, I’ll dry off paws if it’s wet outside and check that they’re clean and settled. I follow your routine as closely as possible—feeding schedules, playtime, and any specific instructions—so your pet feels relaxed, happy, and at home whether they’re with me or in your space.
