My pet care journey began while working at a professional dog daycare/boarding kennel, where I gained experience with canine behavior, feeding schedules, and administering medication. That experience gave me a solid foundation in safety, structure, and understanding dogs’ unique needs. Outside of that, I’ve been the go-to dog sitter and walker for friends and family for years. About: I'm a huge pet lover and love meeting new pets and their unique personalities! My husband and I have a golden doodle puppy named Rosie! She is playful and is looking for a best friend in every dog she meets! There is one child in our home (3 years) who loves having our dog visitors. We love going on walks around my neighborhood and would love to take your pet with us! My husband and I are both animal lovers and work in the schools with summers off. I'm flexible with any dog's special needs or accommodations. It's important to know who your loved one is staying with so ask me anything and check in as needed! When I’m away from Rosie I love getting pictures of her so I will happily send you as many pictures as you’d like while your dog is with us. Let me know if you have any questions! My husband and I are off work in the summer as we work in the schools. We love spending our time outside with our dog and little girl! We’re accommodating for a variety of needs in our home. Whether crated, uncrated, needing to eat away from other dogs, bathroom breaks, etc. Our Rosie loves being outside and asks probably once an hour to go out (during waking hours) to go out, even just to lay down.

About: I treasure every moment I get to spend with animal friends! It would be a treat to get to care for your pet. I have loads of caretaking experience, both with pets and people, as a former au pair and a lifelong animal lover. I have a cat of my own at home who I’m completely obsessed with, so I know the level of care I’d want from a sitter and I bring that to my work. Theres nothing better than when you’ve earned the trust of a dog, big or small, who just wants to protect his or her home. And I’m happy to work towards that if your pet has those needs. I've got wide availability as I’m just getting back on the market here in Detroit. I take animal care very seriously and will ensure that your pet is my priority. I prefer to spend time hanging out with your pet but will likely step away for a couple hours mid-day. I am currently building my network so I can get a job locally, so occasionally I have networking events or I have to run to the grocery store or some such thing. But mostly, I’m reading on the couch with your fur baby. I take great care in learning your pet’s routine in a preliminary visit. I’ll have questions prepared about their training and commands, bathroom patterns, eating patterns, special needs, walking routine, and more, dependent upon the pet. I also take great care to ensure that your home is cared for and clean for your return.

About: I have 1 cat at home and my partner has 1 dog who basically acts like a cat, so I am looking for an excuse to be around dogs (preferably <25 lbs) who may need some company. Friends and family have entrusted me with their pets for years (both for walks and overnight stays) and I take that responsibility incredibly seriously. I have a full-time hybrid position that has me at home on Mondays and Fridays with some flexibility from Tuesday - Thursday. On days when I am in the office, I will be home before 4:30pm for any afternoon feeding times. I am also available on weekends with advanced notice. I have a large unfenced yard and live less than a block away from a dedicated dog park. I have one small dog (15 lbs) and one cat who are happy to keep your pet company or can be kept in a different part of the house depending on your needs.

About: I have had pets my entire life. I went through some obedience training with my last dog. My daughter is 13 and has been around dogs all her life as well. We would love to cuddle and play with your dog while they are in our care! We have a big fenced-in yard and a great neighborhood for walks. We are available to board your dog on weekends, in particular, but weekdays as well if they are able to be inside for a long portion of the day. We are also available to do evening and weekend drop ins and/or walks. We are very recently pet free so all our love will go to your pet! I work full-time, Monday through Friday. I do work one Saturday/month but have a day off in the week. My daughter is in school until 3:30. Depending on the time of year, she may be home by 3:45. She does participate in a fall sport and dance so some evenings we are gone for about 90 minutes while she is at dance class. Our weekends are generally very open, but we would not take a dog on weekends we had limited availability. We have a large, fenced-in yard and live in a family-friendly neighborhood. We would follow all guidelines for walking, bed time, feeding, etc. provided by the pet parent. We will treat your dog as our own.
About: I have had a dog for the good majority of my life. I love all dogs big or small. I am very well versed with dogs of all types of personalities. I work from home and have the flexibility to come any time throughout the day to hang out or take your dog for a walk. Recently moved out of the city so have much more accessibility. If you’re nearby I can most likely make an emergency work as long as I have a 20-30 minute heads up. I have a small dog that doesn’t get along with other dogs so at home care would be tough long term but if it’s needed for just a few hours I can make it work.
