“Eriann is amazing! She took the extra step to visit our home the day before our scheduled drop-in to meet our dog so she could feel more comfortable. She was very responsive and professional. Would 100% recommend her to anyone.”

“Stephanie is the best I could have asked for. She was willing and attentive to my babies. Highly recommend her. When I leave for out of town again I will be booking her. I really think my dogs are going to go through withdrawal.”

“Erika was great! She went out of her way to come meet my dog before dropping in and was super thorough. I had no concerns and felt confident and comfortable that my dog was in great hands!”

“Ashley was scheduled to walk Goose next week, but I had a last minute emergency and she was so accommodating!! She sent lots of pictures and updates and took great care of Goose! Super thankful for her help”

“Julia did such a great job with my kitties! They are fairly high maintenance as far as cats go, but she never batted an eye at some of the fussier parts of their care. She always made sure to spend lots of time playing and snuggling with them and she sent me great detailed updates and photos as well. We would definitely hire her again!”

“Annie has formed a bond over time with my cat, I’ve been booking her and Dustin for over a year! Knowing she is taking care of him and giving him attention makes the separation a lot easier when I travel. Thank you!!!”

“We can't thank Myranda enough for the wonderful care that she gave to our two sister cats Scarlett and Sage. From the time that she gave us during the meet and greet, to the wonderful communication while we were away. First, let's talk about dependability - she was on-time or early for every visit - giving the kitties a sense of stability while we were away. Myranda also has an amazing personality, and we were so thankful that she treated our kitties as if they were her own. She even dealt with our litter robot like a pro! Thank you Myranda! We'll be moving soon and dream of finding someone like you in our new State!”

About: I have worked with dogs all of my life. Most recently as a veterinary technician. I am comfortable administering medications and have a trained eye to spot any health concerns lurking. When walking your dog I take safety seriously. I secure all leashes to my dog walking belt and double check the fit of any harness or collar the dogs are wearing.

About: Our pets are family. I’ll treat yours with all the love & attention they deserve to give you peace of mind. I’ve been around dogs since I was 3 years old, starting with my Cocker Terrier mix, who was my best friend for 20 years. Since then, I’ve cared for & trained a variety of breeds, from tiny Yorkies to huge German Shepherds & all the shapes & sizes in between. I’ve developed an uncanny ability to form quick bonds so dogs feel at ease quickly with me in their pack. I’m patient, & super comfortable getting even the most timid dogs to warm up in no time. I provide flexibility during stays when you need special accommodations for uncertain travel days. I’m very communicative with my clients, so I’ll gladly answer questions & provide regular updates or pictures throughout my time with your pet. I also have ample experience caring for cats if your feline needs a friend. Presently, I’m dog dad to the sweetest 4 y/o Australian Shepherd who loves making new friends & hosting guests. We’d love to count yours among them! I’m happy to schedule a meet & greet to get to know you & your furry friend better, & ensure my pup, Sersi & I are the ideal fit for your needs. We’ll look forward to meeting you & your buddy soon! As a dog dad, pet care is central to my routine. I work from home, allowing me to give pets plenty of attention throughout the day. I take regular breaks to play & engage with them, ensuring they feel loved & stimulated. I understand how stressful it can be when life takes us away from our furry friends, but you can rest easy knowing your pet will be well cared for in my home where your pup will have my friendly Aussie as a playmate. I maintain a clean, safe environment, ensuring your dog settles in quickly to feel right at home with all the comforts they’re used to. I have a safe neighborhood house with a fully fenced backyard for all the sniffing & zoomies time they could ask for. During drop-in visits or walks at your home, I follow routines closely, maintaining your pet’s schedule & environment while giving them all the attention they need to burn energy & feel happy. I make special care to keep them safe on walks through local neighborhoods & parks.
About: I started dog walking as a young teen trying to earn some pocket money. During the walks, I started to feel like I was enjoying them more than my partners! I loved it so much. Being outdoors, going where their noses take you, the spontaneity of it all. It’s a very exciting time for our friends to go outside and explore, and it makes it much better when they have someone who’s as excited as they are! I’m a full time employee working a government job. I am typically away from 8-5, but am free after 5 for as long as possible. I have never had an animal that required outdoor fencing or safeguarding, but if I do, I would plan on getting a reliable fence to keep our animals safe while exploring. I am very attentive to all animals, and try to make sure they are comfortable and that they feel choice and not just a stranger commanding them.
Madison Heights dog parents share their Rover experiences
Heather was fantastic. She watched my two dogs while I was away for a weekend and was there at the allotted times, fed them, let them out, and stayed to hang out with them for a bit each time. Sent pictures and updates and kept my mind at ease the entire time I was gone. I highly recommend Heather!!!

First time user of Rover. I went out of the country for two weeks and my normal dog sitter fell thru last minute. I went and used Rover after many people recommending. I messaged a few sitters and sally was the first to respond. I cant begin to express how happy I was with her services and providing a great experience for my dog and cat. She was very transparent, provided multiple updates and was very timely with all her visits during the two weeks I was gone. I booked her for 3x a day for two weeks and showed up with them all on time. I would definitely recommend her and will use her again for sure!

Lauren is great! She’s very nice and communicates thoroughly. She was on time and my dogs felt comfortable with her. I made a mistake and didn’t finalize my first booking and she was very understanding and worked with me on scheduling for the next day. I plan to use her for more drop ins as well as our vacation this summer.
