About: Hi! Im Abby! I'm offering drop ins, boarding and walks in Royal oak and the surrounding areas! For boarding in my Royal Oak home, I can only accept dogs up to 20 pounds and a maximum of 2 dogs at a time. I work from home so I will be around all day to give your pups plenty of love and affection. I’ve loved animals my entire life! I grew up on a farm surrounded by horses and other animals, and I started volunteering at my local humane societies when I was just 15. Since then, I’ve spent my life working with animals in one way or another, from volunteering and dog walking to caring for pets in my own home. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care. I have small shy dogs of my own, so I’m especially experienced with little breeds and understand their unique personalities and quirks. Because of that, I generally provide the best experience for small, lower to medium energy dogs who enjoy a relaxed home environment. I believe in treating every pet with patience, kindness, and the same love and attention I’d want for my own. Whether your dog is staying overnight or just visiting for the day, they’ll receive plenty of attention, affection, playtime, and a consistent routine to help them feel at home. I’m dependable, honest, and committed to keeping you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind. My goal is to make every stay a positive, stress-free experience for both you and your pet. I allow every pet in my care the time to settle in, relax, and receive attention at their own pace as to keep a stress free environment. My home has a small secure fenced in backyard enclosure where dogs can safely get fresh air and take potty breaks. I always supervise outdoor time closely, and dogs are never left outside unattended we also take long walks to the wooded park across the street. . I keep things calm, secure, and comfortable so your pet can enjoy time outside while still being watched and cared for.

About: Animals have always been one of my greatest passions and being able to work with them is a dream come true. I personally have owned and taken care of dogs, tropical and freshwater fish, small pets, and cats. I’ve also spent time volunteering at animal shelters and have experience in house-sitting and pet-sitting locally. I’m currently enrolled in evening cosmetology classes 5-10pm Mon-Thurs and work Saturday mornings 8-3. Otherwise I’m mostly a homebody who enjoys spending time with my pets and outside. I have a couple of my own pets so I’d rather not keep other pets at my place for extended periods of time (unless they’re fully up to date on vaccines, shots, and behavioral training), but I’m happy to assist in anyway I can at your house. I can do basic cleaning and of course pet care such as walking, watering, feeding, taking outside, playing, etc.. I can lock the house and leave the key in a predetermined location if needed. I’m happy to follow any house rules, special instructions, and anything extra needed for the pets, including medications or continuing ongoing training.

About: I grew up with dogs and have been around them for most of my life, so caring for them has always felt natural to me. Over the years, I have also watched my neighbors’ dogs, providing feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and plenty of attention while their owners were away. I understand how important it is for pets to feel safe and comfortable when their owners are not home, and I will follow your care instructions closely. I am also happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your dog is well cared for. I am currently not working leaving me available for stopping in for visits or taking for walks. I love exercise and being outside! To have a companion with me would be great! Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. During walks, I will use the leash and equipment you provide, remain aware of our surroundings, avoid unsafe situations, and follow any instructions regarding other dogs, people, traffic, or preferred walking routes. For drop-in visits, I will carefully follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding, fresh water, bathroom breaks, playtime, and companionship. I will make sure doors, gates, and crates are securely closed before leaving. I will also respect your home, clean up after your pet as needed, and send updates and photos so you know your pet is safe and well cared for.

About: I have 1 cat at home and my partner has 1 dog who basically acts like a cat, so I am looking for an excuse to be around dogs (preferably <25 lbs) who may need some company. Friends and family have entrusted me with their pets for years (both for walks and overnight stays) and I take that responsibility incredibly seriously. I have a full-time hybrid position that has me at home on Mondays and Fridays with some flexibility from Tuesday - Thursday. On days when I am in the office, I will be home before 4:30pm for any afternoon feeding times. I am also available on weekends with advanced notice. I have a large unfenced yard and live less than a block away from a dedicated dog park. I have one small dog (15 lbs) and one cat who are happy to keep your pet company or can be kept in a different part of the house depending on your needs.

About: I have grown up loving and caring for dogs of my own as well as others. I have always been the person people always call when they have some kind of animal emergency. I absolutely love animals and know a lot about taking care of them and many different types. They will get lots of attention and quality care from me. I will spoil your baby as much as you will let me! I can administer any medication necessary. My dog takes pain meds twice a day so we are already on a medication routine. I have a flexible schedule so I can meet most needs. I keep in contact with you asap if there are any changes that are needed. Now that my dog is getting older we will be lowering the energy levels and sizes, only taking small dogs. I live in a charming small house in the corner of Ferndale and a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. I have a fully fenced in backyard that is about 97% privacy fence. There’s one little corner where my dog can talk to the dog in back through a chain-link fence. Lots of shade and grass

About: Ever since I was 5 years old I have had a pet and have done a wonderful job at taking great care of them. Have always had such a soft spot for animals. I have two kids who are also obsessed with animals and always want to pet and play with them. My neighbor has me let her dog out on a weekly basis, when she’s too busy to do so. I am a very trustworthy person and will take the absolute best care of your animal. I’m currently a stay at home mom, looking to make a little extra income from home. Doing something I love, like caring for another sweet animal would be such a perfect job for me. I’m available anytime, weekdays and during the weekend. I have one friendly female dog and one female cat. They’ve always gotten along and have never been aggressive or mean towards other animals. Also have a fenced in yard. And a couple of crates just in case your pet needs to be crated.
