About: Whether your pet stays with me or I care for them in your home, your dog (s) will receive the same level of care I give my own pets—fresh food and water, regular meals, exercise, playtime, affection, and close attention to their individual needs. Further, I have experience with administering medicine such as eye drops, ingestible liquids/pills, and shots. My goal is to make every pet feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you're away, giving you peace of mind that they're in capable hands. I’ve been surrounded by furry friends my entire life! When I was a kid, my family had two dogs along with other animals, providing me with a foundation for loving and caring for pets. Since then, family and friends have trusted me to provide pet care services including pet sitting- feeding, play, and providing overnight company. I have 24 years of experience with small and medium sized dogs. Care for dogs is my only profession, allowing me to give your dog my full attention. My home is safe, welcoming, and open, and my friendly dog loves having dog visitors to play with. Your dog will be free to roam my home- welcome on the furniture- and have plenty of space to run in my large fenced in yard. Additionally, I am located near the heart of Dowtown Royal Oak for dogs who are excited by people and other dogs, as well as several parks with open spaces within walking distance. I currently have a three dog limit for boarding and pet sitting. I’m home full time, so I’m able to provide dogs care with my full attention. Whether morning, afternoon, or night I’m available round the clock to fit you and your pets schedule and needs! I’m happy to provide care in your home or mine! My home is safe, welcoming, and pet friendly- with large areas to roam or smaller gated spaces ideal for dogs who prefer time alone, are shy, or being newly socialized. I have a large fenced in yard dogs both small and big can enjoy and many local parks within walking distance! Further, my dog Bernie is an excellent playmate for all dogs I care for.

About: Caring for dogs has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, and other pets, so understanding their personalities and needs comes naturally. I've walked and cared for rescue dogs with a wide range of temperaments and energy levels at the dog shelter I've volunteered in. I've also dog sat for friends and family over the years, and have even helped care for Rover clients' dogs on behalf of friends who were sitters. These experiences have taught me how important it is to provide not just basic care, but patience, consistency, and lots of affection. I treat every dog as if they were my own, whether they love long walks, energetic playtime, or simply relaxing with good company. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while giving owners complete peace of mind through reliable care and regular updates. I'm employed full-time, but I have a flexible hybrid work schedule and can work from home when needed to provide attentive care for your pup. Pet care is a priority in my daily routine, and I intend to make time for walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention. An added bonus is that my wife, who's an even bigger dog lover than I am and has owned dogs throughout her life, is home during the day. That means your pup will have extra companionship, supervision, and lots of affection while staying with us. On weekends, we're both home and can dedicate our full attention to keeping your dog active, happy, and comfortable. The best care comes from keeping pets comfortable by following the routine they're already familiar with. I'll stick to your feeding schedule, walking routine, potty breaks, playtime, bedtime, and any special instructions you provide. If your dog has medications, dietary restrictions, or favorite toys and activities, I'll make sure those needs are met. I enjoy playing with dogs, going on walks, and making sure they get both physical activity and time to relax. I also know how reassuring updates can be, so I'll send regular photos and messages so you can see how your pet is doing while you're away.

About: i’ve owned and taken care of pets since a young kid, my friends and family have entrusted me to take good care of their fur babies and doggos, have had cats for 12 years and took care of a dog at my dads as a young teen! huge cat person, but an animal lover and enthusiast in general! all paws are welcome! I am currently unemployed and struggling to find a typical job so I am just doing Rover, and only deal with occasional doctors appointments and such as of right now, so I have plenty of time in my schedule to take care of your babies! I have two indoor cats that get nice wet food in the morning and at night, and dry food as needed throughout the day without overfeeding, I spend time with my babies daily and take great care of them. As for when I took care of the dogs, I would take my old dog annie on a walk every morning along with me, then play fetch with her or whatever she wants to do for a half hour or so when we arrive at the park mid walk. I’d then come home, feed her some water and wet food and do my thing while she hung with me in my room, I had my own basket of a couple bones and some DIY toys i made for her when she was alive and i was living there still, and then at night id take her on my run to get some exercise with me and feed her again for dinner when we get back. You can be rest assured I will provide passionate, serious and loving care for your pets 😊❤️

About: I recently lost my 13 year old lab who had mobility issues and needed extra help getting around. She also had an immune disorder that required multiple different daily medications. I have rugs throughout my home to ensure paws have good grip walking on the hardwood floors, a help-me up harness for a large dog and a fenced in yard with organic grass to chew on (I don’t use any pesticides). She passed away late last year and would love to continue to care for your dog like it was my own! I usually work from home and spend a lot of free time at home as well. If dogs are staying with me, I would walk them at least twice a day and let them out in the yard multiple times a day. I try to follow a similar schedule that you do with your dog as much as possible (food schedule, walk schedule, ect.). I have clean dog beds and I allow the dogs to sleep up on the couch if they are potty trained. There are no dogs living in my home but sometimes I get multiple requests to watch dogs. Please let me know if you prefer to have your dog(s) be the only dogs in the home during their stay. Also, it helps a ton if you fill out your dog’s full profile and indicate things like if they get along with other dogs or are reactive in certain situations and other things to look out for. Please fill out before a request if you can.

About: I grew up with a dog until I went to college. In medical school and surgical residency I have been the go to person for pet sitting. While my schedule is too crazy for my own fur baby, dog sitting fills that void! As a surgical resident living in Royal Oak and working in Madison Heights/Warren. My schedule is sometimes flexible and sometimes I am stuck at the hospital more than not. For this reason I don’t have my own dog, but I have the time for sitting! I also have Violet, my sweet 12-year-old doodle, who has fully embraced her “retired lady” era and mostly spends her days napping in cozy spots around the house. At home, there’s a large, fully fenced yard with shady spots and plenty of space for fetch, sniffing, or lounging. I provide treats (with your approval), playtime, and lots of love. You’ll get photo updates so you can see how your pup is doing and what adventures they’ve been on. I’m always easy to reach if you want to check in. Pet care fits naturally into my routine since I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. This allows me to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and visits throughout the day, give pets consistent attention, and adjust timing based on their needs and your preferences. I make sure every pet has fresh water, a clean and comfortable space, and plenty of attention. After walks, I’ll dry off paws if it’s wet outside and check that they’re clean and settled. I follow your routine as closely as possible—feeding schedules, playtime, and any specific instructions—so your pet feels relaxed, happy, and at home whether they’re with me or in your space.
