“Rachel was excellent. She did exactly what we needed & took great care of Mya, who’s a 15 year old black lab. Would definitely recommend her & will be using her again in the future!”
“Emily is a 5-star cat sitter! I am so grateful that we found her through Rover. She shows such love to our cats. Her Rover cards are detailed and always bring me such joy. Emily is a true animal lover! This is the third time she has taken care of our cats while we were out of town, and I will definitely rebook with Emily. Anyone looking for a responsible, compassionate sitter shouldn’t hesitate to book with Emily!”

“Taylor was a great sitter! She was very responsive even when I first messaged her, and my cat loved her as soon as she walked in my apartment. Also, Taylor was very flexible with my changing travel plans.”

“Brianna is great with my crazy little Jack Chi mix. He gets so excited to see her and she works so well with his feisty personality. We recently started grooming with Brianna and my baby is really enjoying his bath time and head rubs from Brianna.”

About: I grew up on a farm and have taken care of animals and pets my whole life. I love animals, and I’d love to give your pet a walk or a drop in visit during the day! I have a little Shih Tzu of my own, so I know how much fur babies mean to you. I’ll treat your pets with lots of love! I work remotely with a very flexible schedule. Whether you’re looking for a one time visit or repeated care, your pets schedule will fit into mine! I want you and your pets to feel as comfortable as possible. I’ll ask questions to get to know your pet and any of their quirks and needs during the visit or walk. I’m always happy to send a picture or text letting you know how your pet is doing for peace of mind.

“Kelly did an awesome job caring for our two cats. She sent pictures every time she was there and did a great job caring for them. Loved working with her and totally trust her with our cats!”

“Camrynn and Shawn are so awesome and took such good care of our girls! Always on time, took pictures, and went above and beyond and checked on our cat even when they were just there to let out our dog.”

“Jessica has been great with our dogs. We had a few special instructions and she took care of everything we needed. Our dogs get let out twice a week by her, and sometimes she stays longer than we asked. She’s very good at updating our Rover account with all of the details and photos from each visit!”

About: I recently lost my 13 year old lab who had mobility issues and needed extra help getting around. She also had an immune disorder that required multiple different daily medications. I have rugs throughout my home to ensure she had good grip walking on the hardwood floors, a help-me up harness for a large dog and a fenced in yard with organic grass to chew on (I don’t use any pesticides). She passed away late last year and would love to continue to care for your dog like it was my own! I usually work from home and spend a lot of free time at home as well. If dogs are staying with me, I would walk them at least twice a day and let them out in the yard multiple times a day. I try to follow a similar schedule that you do with your dog as much as possible (food schedule, walk schedule, ect.). I have clean dog beds and I allow the dogs to sleep up on the couch if they are potty trained. There are no dogs living in my home but sometimes I get multiple requests to watch dogs. Please let me know if you prefer to have your dog(s) be the only dogs in the home during their stay.
About: Hello! Dog lover here who’s grown up with every kind of dog you can image ranging from Great Danes to bulldogs and definitely have a love for animals. Have always been an animal lover and would love to help reduce stress in your household by helping out with your pet. I have a fenced in yard and a very friendly corgi/poodle that loves other dogs. While at your house I am 100% willing to follow any safety/rules you may have.
“Amber did an awesome job with our two cats, especially our shy girl who needed some coaxing to come out. They made a few messes around the house and she went above and beyond in taking care of clean up and cleaning.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Clawson
Kat is absolutely the best!! She is really knowledgeable in animal care, especially with senior dogs like ours. My dogs immediately loved her, and she was giving them a lot of love. My partner and I work long hours and we feel so much better knowing that Kat is there to visit our dogs during the day. We will definitely book her again!!

This experience was absolutely the best! I received tons of photos and videos, and I felt very secure about Kona’s walk. She even went above and beyond by bringing extra water and helping him through an upset tummy. I couldn’t have been more excited for this visit, and I will definitely be rebooking in the future.

Jessica has been great with our dogs. We had a few special instructions and she took care of everything we needed. Our dogs get let out twice a week by her, and sometimes she stays longer than we asked. She’s very good at updating our Rover account with all of the details and photos from each visit!

Kelly is absolutely fantastic. She is super communicative when taking care of my pup, sends photos, is extremely timely, and my pup looks like she is having the best time. She took the time to do a Meet and Greet with us ahead of time and it made us feel super comfortable. We've had a great experience and would highly recommend her.

Staci was wonderful! She came to our rescue when we had to make alternate plans for our senior dog last minute before a trip. Our dog has some complicated health issues at the moment, and Staci was wonderful about following her medication regimen & going at our dog’s speed. She also accommodated a late request for additional drop-ins which we greatly appreciated. Staci was flexible, attentive & responsive. I highly recommend her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Clawson with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
