About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my whole life and have experience with a variety of breeds and personalities. I was raised with Labs, Golden Retrievers, Doodles, and mixed breeds, and I currently have a pit mix of my own. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I truly enjoy spending time with them. Whether I’m taking your dog for a walk, stopping by to check on your cat, or caring for your pet while you’re away, my goal is always the same: to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I’d want for my own. I am currently between full time jobs, however I coach football Monday - Friday in the mid afternoon. I am available before and after coaching to take your little ones on walks. I will update this in the future should my schedule change. My dog is allowed on any couch or bed, she doesn’t have many restrictions other than jumping on tables, she sleeps on our bed or the guest bed depending on her mood lol. “Heather and Robert saved me this week! I had unexpected surgery while sitting for my parents' high energy dog. I could handle feeding/letting him out but the monster (bernedoodle) needed walks and I can't strain the incision sites. With little notice Heather and Rob fit me into their schedule. Rob did a great job befriending a dog that is hesitant about men, and Snickers immediately loved (a.k.a. Jumped all over) Heather. Both took time trying to wear him out on walks. They both communicated well and were able to handle a dog that jumps, pulls, "helicopters" when seeing cars, etc. I'm thankful they are helping me get through this rough week!”

About: I recently lost my 13 year old lab who had mobility issues and needed extra help getting around. She also had an immune disorder that required multiple different daily medications. I have rugs throughout my home to ensure paws have good grip walking on the hardwood floors, a help-me up harness for a large dog and a fenced in yard with organic grass to chew on (I don’t use any pesticides). She passed away late last year and would love to continue to care for your dog like it was my own! I usually work from home and spend a lot of free time at home as well. If dogs are staying with me, I would walk them at least twice a day and let them out in the yard multiple times a day. I try to follow a similar schedule that you do with your dog as much as possible (food schedule, walk schedule, ect.). I have clean dog beds and I allow the dogs to sleep up on the couch if they are potty trained. There are no dogs living in my home but sometimes I get multiple requests to watch dogs. Please let me know if you prefer to have your dog(s) be the only dogs in the home during their stay. Also, it helps a ton if you fill out your dog’s full profile and indicate things like if they get along with other dogs or are reactive in certain situations and other things to look out for. Whether I’m taking your dog for a walk, stopping by to check on your cat, or caring for your pet while you’re away, my goal is always the same: to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I’d want for my own. I am currently between full time jobs, however I coach football Monday - Friday in the mid afternoon. I am available before and after coaching to take your little ones on walks. I will update this in the future should my schedule change. My dog is allowed on any couch or bed, she doesn’t have many restrictions other than jumping on tables, she sleeps on our bed or the guest bed depending on her mood lol. When it comes to sitting at your house, I will make sure your pup stays on their routine and follows any house rules that are in place!
