About: We're a local couple with no kids or pets of our own, but we love being active in the animal community! We volunteer weekly at the Animal Welfare Society of Southeastern Michigan, and so we've got a ton of experience working with all types of dogs. One of us works from home during the day, so your pet will always have a buddy to hang out with! We're available to give daily walks to any of the dogs that stay at our house. We live on a quiet residential street with a fenced in yard. There are no pets or kids in our household, so your pet will be our sole focus.

About: I built my home to accommodate and care for my late senior Labrador's needs including a large ramp to get up and down the porch steps easily, rugs throughout my home to ensure she had good grip walking, and organic grass to chew on (I don’t use any pesticides on my grass). She passed away late last year and would love to continue to care for your dog like it was my own! I have a fenced in yard for them to run and play in. I usually work from home and spend a lot of free time at home as well. If dogs are staying with me, I would walk them at least twice a day and let them out in the yard multiple times a day. I have a fenced in yard and senior dog friendly house with a ramp to easily get in and outside. I have clean dog beds and I allow the dogs up on the human beds and couch if they are potty trained. There are no other dogs living in my home but there may be times when I could be watching more than one dog at a time in the home. If that is the case, I will check to make sure all dogs are dog friendly before watching them.

About: My life revolves around dogs, pet care, and dog rescue work. I'm pet CPR and First Aid Certified, and I dedicate my time to continuous learning—from medical needs and different personalities to training topics like canine body language and communication signals. ​I am also a dedicated dog foster and the Foster Coordinator for a pug rescue, where I manage transportation, intake, and the coordination of finding perfect forever homes for pugs in need. Because of my rescue work, I have experience in managing different dog personalities and needs—and my own dogs are, too! I also regularly care for the pets of my friends and family, from quick check-ins to extended stays. I work a part-time schedule with hours that vary each week. I keep my calendar updated regularly, but please feel free to reach out to confirm specific openings for your furbabies. The Meet & Greet: To ensure everyone is comfortable, I require a Meet & Greet before boarding bookings. We typically start in my fenced backyard to give the dogs space. We first meet on opposite sides of the fence; once we see positive body language, we let the guest dog into the yard. I keep my dogs leashed during this process to give your pup plenty of space to sniff and explore at their own pace. Afterward, I’ll show you the indoor space where they will be staying. Supervision & Sleeping: Your dogs are always supervised while outside in my fenced yard; they are never left alone. While my two dogs happily go to "their rooms" (crates) at night, guest dogs can sleep wherever they are most comfortable. Whether that is in a bed, on the living room couch, in their own crate, or a private room, I want them to feel right at home. Updates & Communication: You can expect daily updates on your pet, including details of their day, how they are doing, and plenty of pictures and videos. You are always welcome to contact me for a status update, but I provide a daily report so you never have to wonder. Transportation: If you need help with transport, please reach out! I can offer pick-up or drop-off for an additional fee, and we can discuss details during our coordination. I work a part-time schedule during the summer with hours that vary throughout the week and weekends. This means I have different blocks of availability each day, but I keep my calendar updated regularly! Please feel free to reach out to me directly to confirm openings for your fur babies. ​While I have flexibility for check-ins and care, please note that I cannot book recurring daycare right now due to potential schedule changes later this year. On Saturdays and Sundays, I have limited availability depending on the week—messaging me in advance is the best way to coordinate! I have a fenced in yard, clean and organized home, and two dogs who absolutely love to play and I'm also able to crate your dog if needed. If I'm checking in on your furbaby, I am very respectful and considerate of your home and your pet's needs whether that's taking them potty, feeding them or having play time!

She let me know that she wanted to make sure Tito was as comfortable as possible. Kadi went of her way to reach out to her pet sitter, a fellow rover member (without a male in the house ☺️), to see if she would be available and open to taking Tito on for a weekend. She even made sure there was availability for a meet and greet before hand. Kadi went above and beyond and showed us she really cares about the well being of the pets in her care.
