They were able to squeeze us in last minute and do a meet and greet. They sent us many photos and played with her and kept her occupied until we could pick her up. About: I have over 6 years of experience working in kennels caring for both dogs and cats of all ages. Along with several family friends and people in my community that I have sat for many many times. I have special training in providing medications in any form (Pills, ear/eye drops, topical medications, insulin injections, etc) and training/experience working with dogs of all temperaments (anxious, aggressive, energetic, reactive, etc.) I have a true passion and love for working with cat and dogs but am at not a point in my life where I can get on of my own, so I would love nothing more to spend some time with your fur baby! I am currently finishing up at school at Michigan State University but am commuting from my hometown for this semester. Fortunately I only have to be up in East Lansing for a couple of hours 2 days a week, and I am investing the rest of my time into my online classes. This has left my schedule pretty open for the upcoming months and I will be spending majority of my time with your pet during their stay! For those interested in boarding, I do live with my parents and a sibling, but they all love to have furry visitors and your pet is guaranteed to get an abundance of attention! When I care for someone else's pet I truly treat them as my own. I have great relationship with all of the clients I currently sit for and their pets. My main goal when sitting is to make sure that both the owner and the pet are entirely comfortable while they are in my care. To do this I try to create a very open line of communication and send frequent updates and pictures and make sure to ask questions rather than guessing how to care for someone else's pet.

I've walked and cared for rescue dogs with a wide range of temperaments and energy levels at the dog shelter I've volunteered in. About: I've owned four dogs in the past 42 years and also cared for neighbors' and relatives' dogs. I miss our last dog so much, but are not ready to em"bark" on a new puppy journey just yet. I am retired and in great physical shape. You can rest assured your dog will be loved and given lots of attention! I normally go to the gym in the mornings, but it's an open schedule so can be home all day every weekday. If your pet is comfortable alone (if I must go out), there is a crate, blankets, a dog bed, toys etc. The home is two stories and a basement, but there are gates to block stairs if necessary. I live on a court in a quiet neighborhood. Although we do not have fences, your doggie would not be outside without a leash and would be accompanied by me on potty breaks.
