About: I have cared for dogs since our first Siberian Husky joined the family in the 1960's! Family, friends and now new friends have entrusted me to take care of their fury family members when they leave town. From puppies to seniors they are all treated as if they were my own! I will consider accepting two dogs from the same family/household, but will generally only care for one dog at a time. This is so that no dog needs to not only adjust to being away from their own home, but also have to navigate relating to another, unfamiliar animal. I have no pets in my own home at this time either. Breeds I have cared for over the years include Labrador Retrievers, Samoyeds, Pugs, Huskies, Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, Miniature Schnauzers, Weimaraner's, German Shepards, Golden Retrievers, Pit Bulls, French Bulldogs, English Setters, Australian Shepards, Cocker Spaniels, Cockapoos and countless mixed breeds! I work from my home and so I am able to devote myself to any dog in my care. I take frequent work breaks and consider my care of the dogs entrusted to me as a part of my at-home work/life routine! I only care for pets in my own home. I have a nice fenced in backyard with privacy fencing on two sides and chain link on the other two sides, and the dogs seem to like the space. I do not leave dogs in the backyard on their own. I am with them if they are outside. I like to walk the dogs around my neighborhood and through the nearby park up to three times per day depending upon their energy level/physical abilities or limitations and their established routine. Any dogs that are more couch potatoes are certainly never forced to take walks. I honor where they are in terms of their breed, age and physicality! I have cared for elder dogs who have needed regular, timely medications and close observation as well as wild little puppies and everything in between! My home is kept very clean and neat to prevent my fury guests from getting into anything they should not and between visits I wash all dog bedding, towels, blankets and rugs.

“Jennifer was available to watch Oliver last minute for me. She was quick to communicate and very accommodating. Oliver had a great time and Jennifer was sure to send updates throughout the day! Looking forward to utilizing her again in the future!”

“Vicki and William were so kind to my dog. She had a great time with their Lab Bentley. They updated frequently. Just from the pics I could tell Blossom was very relaxed and comfortable in their home”

“I was so worried about finding a sitter when I moved back to Michigan but Lavina has been amazing! Bentley loves going there and she makes sure to communicate throughout the day! Bentley goes weekly and it has been a pleasure sending him there!”

About: LOVING, PERSONALIZED PET CARE IN A COZY HOME ENVIRONMENT Heading off on your dream vacation? Traveling for business? Dealing with an unexpected out-of-town emergency? Hi, I'm so glad you stopped by! I'm a former teacher, experienced travel professional, and proud fur mom. With years of hands-on experience caring for cats and dogs, I treat every pet as if they were my own, offering genuine love, attention, and top-notch care you can trust. Over the years, I’ve cared for many beloved pets, rescued several, and found loving homes for others. These days, I share my home with little Lola—just 5 lbs of fluff and personality! MY MISSION: COMFORT, SAFETY, AND LOVE FOR YOUR PET I’m home all day and provide a calm, nurturing environment with one-on-one attention tailored to your dog’s personality and needs. My fenced-in backyard offers plenty of space for supervised outdoor time, potty breaks, and fresh air. Whether we’re soaking up the sunshine together or enjoying some quiet time indoors with toys and my knitting, your pup will be surrounded by warmth and care. If your dog is more of a snuggler than a sprinter, no problem! Inside or out, your furry friend will be safe, happy, and loved. No stressful kennels here—just a peaceful home, loving care, and lots of cuddles. We are your pups grandparents. We love on them, spoil them, and send them home! A win/win for all! PERSONALIZED PET CARE WITH HEART & ATTENTION TO EVERY DETAIL I tailor my services to meet the unique needs of your pet, paying close attention to the little things that help them feel safe, relaxed, and right at home. My goal is to make their stay as comfortable and stress-free as possible, for both you and your furry friend. HOME-LIKE COMFORTS & ROUTINES I do my best to mirror your pet’s home routine, especially when it comes to sleeping and nap time. With cozy dog beds placed throughout the house, your pet will have plenty of comfortable spots to rest. I never use crates unless you specifically request it. SMALL GUEST LIST, BIG ATTENTION I only care for up to two small dogs at a time to ensure each guest gets the individualized attention they deserve. I also welcome one larger dog at a time (up to 60 lbs). This allows me to provide a calm, focused environment without overcrowding. Please note: All dogs must be spayed or neutered. At this time, I’m unable to accommodate Pit Bulls or Rottweilers—though this may change in the future, so feel free to check back. PRIVATE, SECURE, AND JUST FOR YOU Your pet’s privacy is important to me. I do not share photos or videos publicly—ever. Instead, I provide regular updates, including pictures, videos, and a personalized “report card,” sent directly to you For more than a decade, pet professionals have relied on PCI Pet Insurance to bring clients peace of mind. It is specifically for the pet care industry. I am insured through PCI which sets us apart from most other providers. Additionally, CPR certified by The American Red Cross. With unwavering dedication and a genuine love for animals, I aim to make each stay feel like a home away from home. Let’s connect—I can’t wait to meet you and your best friend and welcome them as my special guest! My goal is to be your preferred choice for caring for your pet! You asked. We responded. We now offer limited daycare! Also, we are close to Beaumont Hospital so if you need to drop your dog off due to a family emergency, we will do our best to accommodate. Contact us for details. Although the profile says we will take dogs up to 100 lbs., we do not. We will take dogs up to 60 lbs. FYI, please be sure when you book if you need to cancel, cancel before the required 3 days or ROVER will charge you 50%. As a retired teacher, I have no routine! That’s the beauty of retirement. I have the time to just devote to your fur baby and their interests and needs. I have a fully fenced in yard as well as cameras that track the backyard. I like to offer our guests lots of personal attention. It’s like being a grandparent. I get to enjoy their company. Spoil them with attention and cuddles then send them home! We have plenty of dog bowls that are sanitized daily as well as dog bedding if you prefer to use ours. Also, sanitized after each dog’s visit. We are also insured and CPR trained.

“Brittnie was kind to my dog, and I would trust her again if I get the chance.”

About: Hi, I’m Kadi! I’ve spent over 10 years caring for dogs—everything from adopting a senior pup with medical needs to fostering and dog-sitting dogs of all ages and personalities. I understand how important it is for you to feel your dog is completely safe, loved, and cared for, so you can truly enjoy yourself while you're away. I work from home, so your dog will get plenty of attention (and I’ll send you lots of photos!). My husband, Jake, and I recently moved to Royal Oak from New Orleans, where we regularly dog-sat, fostered, and volunteered with a local rescue. We have two small rescue dogs—Omelette and Hollywood—who are used to visitors. Hollywood enjoys playtime but is also respectful of dogs who prefer to relax. I have particular experience caring for dogs with anxiety and provide a calm, loving space where your dog can feel safe and comfortable. My schedule is flexible, so I can accommodate extensions or adjustments as needed. I’m happy to continue any routines you have at home, including crate training, medication administration, potty training, and positive reinforcement. I typically walk dogs twice a day but adjust to each pup’s energy level and needs. For safety, dogs are never left unsupervised in my fenced backyard. In an emergency, I follow our agreed-upon plan and advocate for your dog as if they were my own. Feel free to reach out with any questions—looking forward to meeting you and your pup(s)! I work from home and have two dogs of my own, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I'm home all day to provide consistent attention, playtime, and potty breaks. I typically walk twice a day and adjust the schedule based on each dog’s needs—whether that’s more activity, extra cuddle time, or sticking to a familiar routine. I’m available 24/7 and happy to accommodate early mornings or later evenings if needed. I love getting to know each dog’s unique personality and preferences so I can care for them in the best way possible. I’m always nearby to offer attention, comfort, and companionship throughout the day. My goal is to create a calm, cozy, and safe environment where your dog feels right at home. To help every dog feel secure—especially at mealtimes—I feed dogs separately to avoid stress or food guarding. I also have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and never leave dogs unsupervised outside.

“DuVarius did a great job with my dog. He sent pictures, a video, and was very flexible with pick up/drop off times.”

About: I've taken care of pets since I was a kid. I absolutely love fur babies and treat them with as much love as I treat my own family. I work from home so I would always be with the fur babies, they would have me monitoring them 24/7 pretty much! While they are with me, they will be as safe as possible. I have a friendly cat named Tamago which means egg in Japanese, she is well taken care of, spayed, and is very shy. She loves company once she's used to them.

“Tia was my first dog sitter on Rover and I couldn't have asked for a better person to watch over my dog! She took great care of my baby. She was so kind and welcoming towards Olive, even at times when she can be a bit hyper. She sent me updates during the day as well as pictures. I would highly recommend her!”

“Hanna is awesome. Very good at communicating, reliable, and our puppy loves her. We are so glad we found her!”

“I can tell that he really loves dogs. The first day that mu dog stayed with him, he didn't want to leave and that let me know that he was happy and felt safe to be there. Daily I received a report on the things my dog was doing and pictures. I most definitely will be sending my dog back to stay a few days out of the week while I work.”

About: My name is Elyse, and I have a lifetime of experience caring for pets. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, birds, and other small animals, learning from an early age the importance of compassionate pet care. Now, as a devoted dog owner to a 5-year-old shepherd mix and a 1.5-year-old golden, I understand the value of exercise, mental stimulation, and positive reinforcement. To me, dogs aren’t just pets—they’re family, and I’ll treat yours like my own! You can trust me to provide reliable, loving care, ensuring your pet feels safe, happy, and well-cared for while you’re away. I work full-time but have flexibility in my schedule, and my husband works from home full-time, so there is always someone home with the dogs. I’m available most weekends and after work during the week, making it easy to accommodate your pet care needs. While weekends are ideal, I can also be flexible with other times as needed! Our dogs, Argo and Moose, loves their walks, so we take 3-4 walks a day and spend plenty of time in the yard. Whether your dog is staying with me for boarding, joining me for a walk, or receiving a drop-in visit, I’ll ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. In my home, dogs enjoy plenty of attention, playtime, and outdoor time. Since my husband works from home full-time, there’s always someone around to provide care and companionship. For drop-in visits and walks, I’ll make sure your dog gets the exercise and attention they need, refresh their water, and follow any feeding, medication, or routine instructions to keep them happy and healthy!
