About: I have cared for dogs since our first Siberian Husky joined the family in the 1960's! Family, friends and now new friends have entrusted me to take care of their fury family members when they leave town. From puppies to seniors they are all treated as if they were my own! I will consider accepting two dogs from the same family/household, but will generally only care for one dog at a time. This is so that no dog needs to not only adjust to being away from their own home, but also have to navigate relating to another, unfamiliar animal. I have no pets in my own home at this time either. Breeds I have cared for over the years include Labrador Retrievers, Samoyeds, Pugs, Huskies, Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, Miniature Schnauzers, Weimaraner's, German Shepards, Golden Retrievers, Pit Bulls, French Bulldogs, English Setters, Australian Shepards, Cocker Spaniels, Cockapoos and countless mixed breeds! I work from my home and so I am able to devote myself to any dog in my care. I take frequent work breaks and consider my care of the dogs entrusted to me as a part of my at-home work/life routine! I only care for pets in my own home. I have a nice fenced in backyard with privacy fencing on two sides and chain link on the other two sides, and the dogs seem to like the space. I do not leave dogs in the backyard on their own. I am with them if they are outside. I like to walk the dogs around my neighborhood and through the nearby park up to three times per day depending upon their energy level/physical abilities or limitations and their established routine. Any dogs that are more couch potatoes are certainly never forced to take walks. I honor where they are in terms of their breed, age and physicality! I have cared for elder dogs who have needed regular, timely medications and close observation as well as wild little puppies and everything in between! My home is kept very clean and neat to prevent my fury guests from getting into anything they should not and between visits I wash all dog bedding, towels, blankets and rugs.

“My precious Piper is a rescue and this was the first doggy day care she’s been to. Lavina has made her feel so comfortable in such a short amount of time! If you’re in need of a sitter or even someone to come and care for your fur baby don’t hesitate to book with her! You won’t regret it, my pup looks forward to going over there and the daily updates Lavina sends always brightens my day and gives me the pleasure of knowing my baby is being well taken care of!”

“Bueller and I feel so lucky to have found Yvette and Eli. She would send updates including videos and pictures through the day and during overnight stays! I can’t say enough about her. If you want your baby looked after like royalty, don’t look anywhere else!”

“We have been sending our pup to Ron and Cherie's for the last few months and can't recommend them enough to other furbaby owners. They have been so flexible with our work schedules and so understanding if we are running behind. I'm so happy to have found a reliable and such a loving family to watch over our pup =)”

About: I take pride in my ability to train dogs. I'm working on getting certified, but could take up to a year! See... my dog isn't your average pup, he's one of the most beloved good boys this side of the Mississippi. I hope to provide your pet with the same type of love and focus while they are under my care :) Any problem areas you want me to help smooth out, just let me know. I love training! My first born son, Kash - 2 & 1/2 y.o. German Shepherd/Husky Mix, goes with me everywhere that I go. If it's not dog friendly, you won't find me there. In LA, he would go to Target with me, running errands, and even to the office. Now that I work from home, life has been so much sweeter! My home has a huge yard and my desk faces the back so I can keep a watch when the dogs are playing. I also have 2 cameras in the back to ensure I'm not missing anything!

I work from home, which allows lots of one on one time with your pet. I'm able to flex my work schedule based on whatever is needed. I have a fenced in yard, which my own pup loves to run in. Lots of toys and playtime with plenty of comfy surfaces to nap on after.

“I was pretty nervous as this was my first time dropping off my young male rescue with someone, but Theresia answered my questions and was very flexible, even letting me drop off a toy ahead of the meet & greet to do a scent exchange. Our first stay went well and I was so glad to hear her feedback!”

I live in a house with a large fenced off back yard for your dog to play to run around with Theo in. I work from home most days, so I will be around to keep a close eye on your dog. Your dog must get along with other dogs well, as Theo will be here to play with them throughout their stay. Theo is extremely dog friendly and gets along with any dog no matter their size or breed. 7. Kathryn T.
“Kathy provided a wonderful loving home for our sweet Leia on two separate occasions. We were reluctant to take a trip without our dog because we knew we would miss her and Kathy sent frequent txts, videos, and updates about how our pup was doing to make us still feel connected to her. We couldn’t have asked for more supportive caretaker while we were gone. Our whole family was excited to share the videos and txts as they came in! The next time we left and Leia got to come back for a visit, she remembered all of her favorite spots right away and clearly remembered the welcoming environment and promptly fell asleep to cuddle and snuggle with Kathy right after I left. I now can book other vacations in confidence knowing Leia has a constant, reliable, loving home with Kathy!”
