About: Hello! My pet experience consists of having my own doggy for the past 20 years. I rescued my older dog and then got a new puppy. My old Rose passed away but I had to give her eye medication and oral medication everyday so I am comfortable with that. I also grew up with family dogs and cared for those dogs. My availability to watch your dog is very flexible. I work from home a most days a week so it is a high chance that I could work from home while caring for your pup. I am a very caring person. I have a PhD in human development and family science and work in the social work field. I have a giant heart and would love to care for your doggie! As a stay-at-home worker, pet care naturally fits into my daily routine. I’m home throughout the day, which allows me to provide consistent attention, timely feedings, regular potty breaks, and plenty of play and cuddle time. My flexible schedule means I can easily accommodate pets’ needs, whether that’s sticking to a specific routine or being available for spontaneous walks and care. Being home also helps me monitor behavior closely and respond quickly to any changes, making pets feel secure, loved, and well looked after. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I prioritize creating a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment tailored to each animal’s needs. In my home, pets have access to cozy rest areas, regular outdoor time, and plenty of affection and play throughout the day. I maintain a calm, clean space and follow any routines or special instructions provided. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I respect their space and stick closely to the pet’s established schedule to minimize stress. About: I have cared for dogs since our first Siberian Husky joined the family in the 1960's! Family, friends and now new friends have entrusted me to take care of their fury family members when they leave town. From puppies to seniors they are all treated as if they were my own! I will consider accepting two dogs from the same family/household, but will generally only care for one dog at a time. This is so that no dog needs to not only adjust to being away from their own home, but also have to navigate relating to another, unfamiliar animal. I have no pets in my own home at this time either. Breeds I have cared for over the years include Labrador Retrievers, Samoyeds, Pugs, Huskies, Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, Miniature Schnauzers, Weimaraner's, German Shepards, Golden Retrievers, Pit Bulls, French Bulldogs, English Setters, Australian Shepards, Cocker Spaniels, Cockapoos and countless mixed breeds! I work from my home and so I am able to devote myself to any dog in my care. I take frequent work breaks and consider my care of the dogs entrusted to me as a part of my at-home work/life routine! I only care for pets in my own home. I have a nice fenced in backyard with privacy fencing on two sides and chain link on the other two sides, and the dogs seem to like the space. I do not leave dogs in the backyard on their own. I am with them if they are outside. I like to walk the dogs around my neighborhood and through the nearby park up to three times per day depending upon their energy level/physical abilities or limitations and their established routine. Any dogs that are more couch potatoes are certainly never forced to take walks. I honor where they are in terms of their breed, age and physicality! I have cared for elder dogs who have needed regular, timely medications and close observation as well as wild little puppies and everything in between! My home is kept very clean and neat to prevent my fury guests from getting into anything they should not and between visits I wash all dog bedding, towels, blankets and rugs.

About: Hi! I specialize in puppy care, separation anxiety, and brachycephalic breeds. Having a Bulldog of my own has taught me firsthand how to handle the unique needs of smushy-faced dogs — from monitoring breathing to keeping them cool and comfortable. For anxious or velcro dogs, I provide a calm, attentive environment with plenty of reassurance. Puppies get the extra patience, structure, and supervision they need to feel right at home. 🐾 I work remotely full-time, which allows me to be home throughout the day. I do have occasional meetings during the week, but they are typically under 1.5 hours and scheduled in advance. Your dog will not be left alone for long stretches of time. I can accommodate morning, mid-day, and evening walks and potty breaks. I’m happy to communicate my schedule ahead of time so you feel fully comfortable. I am fully attentive to the animals. I can provide multiple water/feeding bowls, cooling mats, toys, can give dogs medicine, and lots of love! I guarantee I will respect all boundaries and follow all your directions.

“We are so excited we have found such a wonderful caregiver for our two dogs, One is an energetic mini Aussie and I have never seen her respond so well to anyone. She was cuddling with Whitney within a couple of hours and we got lots of photos of the pups playing and snuggling throughout the day. Whitney is a bona fide dog person whose house is not only gorgeous, but was designed with dogs in mind. The fenced in yard and dog park were amazing and our dogs got to play outside in a safe, clean environment. We have already booked her again for a longer visit in December and we are so happy to know our pups will be in the care of someone who not only knows dogs but genuinely cares for them and goes out of her way to make them at home and loved. I’ve been a Rover owner and used the service frequently for my old dog, Marley. I’ve had dogs, cats, and iguanas. On my micro farm in Texas I have chickens, goats and pigs. I’ve also even cared for horses! My husband and I live in Royal Oak with our 7lb chihuahua (pictured). He’s super silly and cuddly and loves other animals, although is still learning how to play with dogs much bigger than he is. I love animals and will treat your pet as if he or she was my own. She let me know that she wanted to make sure Tito was as comfortable as possible. Kadi went of her way to reach out to her pet sitter, a fellow rover member (without a male in the house ☺️), to see if she would be available and open to taking Tito on for a weekend. She even made sure there was availability for a meet and greet before hand. Kadi went above and beyond and showed us she really cares about the well being of the pets in her care.
