Warmest greetings! Thank you for taking the time to read about my family and me! My name is Rachel, and I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I grew up with my grandfather who was a veterinarian by trade. I am an experienced sitter who you can trust to take amazing care of your pup(s). I take any (and all) opportunities to snuggle and go on fun adventures with the pups in my care. Dogs ALWAYS come first in our home. My job is to make sure your pup feels safe, secure, and has the best time while you are away! I’m always excited to take my dogs on a hike, jog, or puppy play date. I live in a dog friendly neighborhood with a wonderful fenced backyard. I have sat numerous dogs both young and old and throughly enjoy pup slumber parties. I love to make homemade dog treats. Let your dog be spoiled by my family and me! I will love on your pup with everything I have. I am incredibly reliable, trustworthy, and flexible. Our girls always have the best time with Rachel! Their tails start wagging when we turn onto her street and they don’t stop for hours after we bring them home. Rachel keeps our girls safe, happy and entertained with creative enrichment activities. She’s the most popular sitter in our neighborhood!
Rachel was able to take my pup in last minute for a holiday weekend, she sent pictures and videos each day which helped put my mind at ease. It seemed like my dog got plenty of play time and enrichment time. Would definitely recommend and will be using Rachel again when I need someone to watch my dog.
Rachel put so much care into taking care of our dog Holly! Holly is dog reactive and we have spent the last year working on reactivity training with her. She has come such a long way and Rachel has been so generous with helping us work on socializing her. Will definitely be booking again!
It has been such a blessing to find Rachel. I am in Detroit for extended visits with family, and one of the things that makes that possible is having a 'home away from home' for my Cavapoo, Mica. Rachel is always walking the dogs or playing with them, or coming up with enrichment activities - so my dog isn't just sitting around all day - but it's also clear that Rachel absolutely loves each dog in her care like family, and she is the sweetest human besides. Mica has separation anxiety, and I don't worry for a minute about her with Rachel. We are so grateful for you, Rachel!

Schedule
I am a full time stay at home dog mom. My schedule is completely open. I am here to help you with all your dog’s doggy daycare and boarding needs!

I have a wonderful fenced, private yard for your pup’s convenience and play needs. Your dog will also have full access to our home. Everything in our home is dog friendly - ie furniture, beds, etc. Dogs will have three floors to explore and enjoy. Depending on your dogs diet, we have several treat options available daily.

A typical day
During your pup’s stay with me, fun is guaranteed! I like to start the day with a mile walk at the local park or neighborhood to start the day right. The afternoon usually consists of peanut butter filled kongs, belly rubs, and a romp in the back yard. I’ll wrap up the day with your dog by a scavenger hunt on both levels of the house looking for treats of many kinds!
