“We are so excited we have found such a wonderful caregiver for our two dogs, One is an energetic mini Aussie and I have never seen her respond so well to anyone. She was cuddling with Whitney within a couple of hours and we got lots of photos of the pups playing and snuggling throughout the day. Whitney is a bona fide dog person whose house is not only gorgeous, but was designed with dogs in mind. The fenced in yard and dog park were amazing and our dogs got to play outside in a safe, clean environment. We have already booked her again for a longer visit in December and we are so happy to know our pups will be in the care of someone who not only knows dogs but genuinely cares for them and goes out of her way to make them at home and loved. A++++”

“Maritza did a great job communicating with me for Marlon’s first visit. I am super grateful and glad to know he’s being watched by a thoughtful and caring family.”

“First day care day with Jess was a success! Jess was super communicative and flexible providing me with feedback and updates throughout the day. Huxley was able to play with a great group of pups and he came home with a great attitude and passed out. Hux will be looking forward to his longer stay over the holidays :)”

“Honestly, AMAZING! Yvette is a life saver. We had recently adopted a 2 month old puppy and had to go out of state for a wedding. We were nervous who we would leave our new baby and 3 year old Morkie with for a weekend, until we came across Yvette. From the minute we arrived for the 'Met & Greet', we knew we would be leaving our puppies in safe hands. Yvette provides such a welcoming pet friendly atmosphere, and a back yard for them to roam and play in. We were in constant communication and received pictures and videos multiple times a day. (The puppy was even doing better with potty training after, double win!) I would absolutely recommend Yvette any day! Thank you so much Yvette! You'll be seeing more of the puppies in the future :) - Kerri & Jake”

“Angela and her rescue pack are great! She’s so kind, comforting, and understanding with our shy anxious rescue girl. Her boys Ernie and Jerry are a nice bonus to help socialize Gretchen with other dogs. I also appreciate Angela’s open honest and frequent communication.”

“Kadi was fantastic! So warm and reassuring to talk with, as well as super sweet and patient with our pup. He is a bit weary of men, and unfortunately wasn’t able to relax around Kadi’s husband. She let me know that she wanted to make sure Tito was as comfortable as possible. Kadi went of her way to reach out to her pet sitter, a fellow rover member (without a male in the house ☺️), to see if she would be available and open to taking Tito on for a weekend. She even made sure there was availability for a meet and greet before hand. Kadi went above and beyond and showed us she really cares about the well being of the pets in her care. Thanks a million Kadi!”

“Laura was so great with our 1 year old pup. She took her on adventures out and about, sent pics and videos, and was just so easy to work with. We'll definitely contact Laura again soon!”

About: I am animal lover with decades of experience caring for dogs and cats. I have loved, cared for, and trained puppies, mid-aged rescues, and supported a number of health issues, and eventually helped pets transition. I have known so many animals with so many quirks and personality nuances, I am not discriminatory toward any behavior issues or unique preferences. I can see your pet is special and would be honored to care for them when you can’t. My son is starting school and this seems like the perfect opportunity to continue nurturing, but allow myself flexibility in the hours between drop off and pick up! I have taken many courses that use clicker training and positive reinforcement. I believe in a dog being able to explore and exercise until they feel ready to rest and snuggle. We have a fenced in backyard and a lovely walkable neighborhood that we certainly take advantage of.
“I was so worried about finding a sitter when I moved back to Michigan but Lavina has been amazing! Bentley loves going there and she makes sure to communicate throughout the day! Bentley goes weekly and it has been a pleasure sending him there!”

“Tara was great with our dogs for the day. They got to play outside a lot and came home exhausted. Tara is also an excellent photographer … and I now have several amazing pics of our pups. Thanks so much!”

“Mariana and her husband have hosted our dog Shama multiple times now and they are always our first choice because we know Shama is always happy to see them and stay with them. Very flexible and communicate very nicely with us. We highly recommend them.”
“One of the best rovers I’ve used!! Phoebe came home happy, sleepy and with an adorable new scarf Rachel knitted her! I’m a new dog mom and Rachel left me feeling so so comfortable. Absolutely recommend!”

About: Hi! l I grew up around dogs and have done dog sitting and walking for family and friends for years. I currently have one of my own, Meeko (6, Bulldog), who is friendly and well-socialized. 🐾 Dogs have always had a piece of my heart, and I treat every pup like family. I work remotely full-time, which allows me to be home throughout the day. I do have occasional meetings during the week, but they are typically under 1.5 hours and scheduled in advance. Your dog will not be left alone for long stretches of time. I can accommodate morning, mid-day, and evening walks and potty breaks. I’m happy to communicate my schedule ahead of time so you feel fully comfortable. I am fully attentive to the animals. I can provide multiple water/feeding bowls, cooling mats, toys, can give dogs medicine, and lots of love! I guarantee I will respect all boundaries and follow all your directions.
About: I have cared for dogs since our first Siberian Husky joined the family in the 1960's! Family, friends and now new friends have entrusted me to take care of their fury family members when they leave town. From puppies to seniors they are all treated as if they were my own! I will consider accepting two dogs from the same family/household, but will generally only care for one dog at a time. This is so that no dog needs to not only adjust to being away from their own home, but also have to navigate relating to another, unfamiliar animal. I have no pets in my own home at this time either. Breeds I have cared for over the years include Labrador Retrievers, Samoyeds, Pugs, Huskies, Goldendoodles, Labradoodles, Miniature Schnauzers, Weimaraner's, German Shepards, Golden Retrievers, Pit Bulls, French Bulldogs, English Setters, Australian Shepards, Cocker Spaniels, Cockapoos and countless mixed breeds! I work from my home and so I am able to devote myself to any dog in my care. I take frequent work breaks and consider my care of the dogs entrusted to me as a part of my at-home work/life routine! I only care for pets in my own home. I have a nice fenced in backyard with privacy fencing on two sides and chain link on the other two sides, and the dogs seem to like the space. I do not leave dogs in the backyard on their own. I am with them if they are outside. I like to walk the dogs around my neighborhood and through the nearby park up to three times per day depending upon their energy level/physical abilities or limitations and their established routine. Any dogs that are more couch potatoes are certainly never forced to take walks. I honor where they are in terms of their breed, age and physicality! I have cared for elder dogs who have needed regular, timely medications and close observation as well as wild little puppies and everything in between! My home is kept very clean and neat to prevent my fury guests from getting into anything they should not and between visits I wash all dog bedding, towels, blankets and rugs.
“Our first experience with Theresia was beyond expectations. We requested a meet and greet because we were unsure of a stranger watching our dogs. Theresia was extremely accommodating and we will definitely use her again!”

BEYOND AMAZING! We had a last minute appointment and she went over and above for us and our dog. Communicated the entire stay and sent pictures that made us smile. Truly could not have asked for a better sitter. If we are ever back in the area she will always be our first pick!

Simply the best! Vicki and William love the pups in their care and go the extra mile. They have been so good helping our puppy Hazel socialize, play, and grow into a happy teenage dog for the past year. She is always so excited to go to daycare and is a very happy, tired dog after.

Sumedha took excellent care of our puppy Charlie Bear. He had a blast playing with her dogs and came home completely tuckered out- a blessing for us! Will definitely book with her again should the need arise. Absolutely recommend her enthusiastically for anyone who wants the very best pet sitter!

Ricky and Lindsey were so lovely. They were kind and flexible with my timing and made the entire process so easy. They treated Roxy like their own, giving her hugs and cuddles and incorporating her into their daily routine. Roxy came home smiling and exhausted. I highly recommend Ricky and Lindsey!!

Whitley is outstanding! One of the best experiences we've ever had. Professional, knowledgeable, communicative, attentive, gracious, and offered a strong sense of care and consideration for our dog's particulars (flight risk; older tri-pod). Highly recommended! Thank you Whitley 🙏🏻
Nicole and Mike are wonderful sitters and just wonderful people all around. They were so attentive and loving to our large playful puppies...very helpful and accommodating to our dogs, one needing extra love and attention, and the other requiring extra attention because of his high energy and rambunctious personality. I know taking on both of my large dogs, with two different personalities, required some extra effort...and I feel they went above and beyond to help get my fur babies adjusted to our big move from across the country. I can't thank them enough.
