“Danielle did a great job taking care of our cat Penny while we were on vacation, following all instructions and providing detailed updates and pictures daily. We will continue to use Danielle for cat care moving forward!”

“Ashley offered to meet our pup ahead of time which was very appreciated. She was super at handling a nervous dog and was quick to update us during her visit. Couldn’t be more appreciative of her help and experience with pets!”

“Once again, Jen has brought us peace of mind, knowing our 3 cats will be in great care while we’re away. Our cats are super shy and she’s been able to gain their trust. Highly thought of and recommended!”
“I am a super picky person when it comes to watching over my dogs. I have trusted Sarah from day one. She puts my mind at ease and I trust her more than I trust my own family members. Awesome!”

“Ally was amazing! She took such great care of my two cats. 🐈 🐈⬛ She sent fantastic detailed updates and lots of photos on every visit. Ally really went above and beyond. I am super grateful I found her. I will definitely be rebooking with her in the future!”

“Suzanne did a wonderful job with our fur babies. Our girl cat can be cranky or a sweetheart and Suzanne knew how to bring the sweetheart out of her. She sent delightful photos of Peanut rubbing all up and down her leg in greeting and running around the house excitedly playing or having zoomies. We knew our cat was in good hands with her from the very beginning - just a vibe - but she proved to be responsible, attentive, and definitely went the extra mile to make sure we knew Peanut was being loved, food and maintenance was being taken care of, and that our other pets were also safe.”

“Kelly was such a delight to book for my girls! This was her first time meeting my two cats, but I had booked with her a handful of times over the last few years. Always recommend her services!!”

“Rhea was extremely dedicated and responsive to their needs and checked in with me consistently to assure they had what they need and that I was aware of any issues. Loved all the pictures she provided during each check in!”

“Kelly is the best! She went to see Garfield before the she officially started the sitting, and have a great time with Garfield during the sitting! Garfield was feed with fresh food, wet food and water! Kelly is so nice, professional, welcoming, and sweet! She got great experience with both dogs and cats! I would recommend her to everyone and definitely would like Kelly to take care of Garfield in the future!”
“Melissa is great! Very communicative, detailed with happenings of her visits, and provides great photos of the furr babies. Both my kis warmed up to her very quickly.”

“First time using Adam he did a great job and my 2 cats were well looked after and seemed happy when we returned from our trip. I will us Adam again for watching my cats.”

“Brianna is great with my crazy little Jack Chi mix. He gets so excited to see her and she works so well with his feisty personality. We recently started grooming with Brianna and my baby is really enjoying his bath time and head rubs from Brianna.”

“She did exactly what I wanted and more. I have a very shy cat, she was patient with her, and let her come out at her own pace. Sent a text and accompanying picture each day , as requested. Very pleased with her performance. Will use her a again.”

“Erica took great care of the kitties. They loved her instantly and she is very responsive. I was able to relax while I was away knowing she was there to love and care for my fur babies. Highly recommend her to anyone needing care for their pets!”

“Lizzi was awesome. This was our first time leaving our super social under 1 year old kitten and I was really nervous. It was so great seeing updates of Zuzu happily playing, sleeping, eating and drinking.. being her happy self while we were away. Lizzi’s communication and kindness made this all a really easy experience for each of us when usually leaving a pet for the first time is very anxiety inducing. Lizzi is exactly the person I was looking for to take perfect care of Zuzu while we were away. That lextra level of attention and care that goes beyond being in a safe place and being fed, but truly knowing that someone with experience and compassion has their best interest at heart.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Royal Oak
Madeleine was very nice, respectful, and helpful while taking care of my cats. There were a couple of minor hiccups—she arrived late on the first day and spent quite a bit of time on her phone rather than actively playing with the cats—but overall, she provided good care, and everything went well.

Stephanie was phenomenal, Mavis absolutely loved her! She sent detailed messages along with pictures and videos everyday which is super helpful for anxious pet parents like me. Next time we go out of town we’ll absolutely be looking at rebooking her, I cannot recommend her more!

Hannah is always the best with our kitties! She gives them such good care and provides me with really great updates and photos. She’s also extremely patient and understanding with our semi-incontinent senior kitty, which we appreciate more than words can express.

Our meet and greet with Jacquelyn went well and she is very pleasant. Her visits with our cat were on time and she didn’t rush, which I appreciate. When you pay for a 30 minute visit, you expect your sitter to spend time with your pet, not just feed them and run. I will definitely use her to pet sit again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
