“Kathleen has checked in Waffles numerous times while we’re away, and we always know she’ll take great care of our kitty! She sends awesome photos and brings in the mail, which is so appreciated!”

“We can’t say enough good things about Jackie! She’s been our go-to sitter for Nigel for quite a while now, and every time we book with her, we know he’s in the best hands. Jackie treats Nigel like he’s her own, always giving him so much love, attention, and care. She’s incredibly reliable, thoughtful, and communicative, sending regular updates and photos that always make us smile. It’s such a relief knowing Nigel is happy, comfortable, and well cared for when we’re away. We’re so grateful for Jackie and couldn’t imagine trusting anyone else with our boy. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a truly wonderful sitter! 🐶💙”

About: Hi, my name is Carla. I am a 29-year-old Occupational Therapy grad student, marketing professional, and animal lover! I’m located in Royal Oak centrally close to a lot of neighborhoods. I am looking to pick up work to get some time outside more and make some extra money for school. I have always had a pet in the house! Growing up I had a cat and a dog that I was responsible for. I’ve lived with dogs recently, and I currently have my own cat. Unfortunately, I am not able to offer boarding or care at my current apartment, but I am happy to do overnight stays if needed in the client’s home. I have a pretty flexible schedule because I work full-time online so if I needed to work from a clients house or take my lunch break to do a dog walk all of these options are very easy for me to navigate. I would like to do a few dog walks or pet check ins a week, including weekdays or weekends and potentially an overnight once or twice a month . I will not be having pets at my home, but I am very mindful of pet safety whether that be on a walk or at a client’s house. I will ensure to know the temperament of the animal before I arrive. If the animal is afraid of me, I will contact the owner and reevaluate the situation so as to not add additional stress on the animal. As a general rule of thumb when walking a dog if another dog is approaching us, I will cross the street and I always make sure that if I am taking the dog out outside, they are on a leash or in a fenced in area.
“Kelly took excellent care of our two cats while we were away. You could really tell she really loved animals at the meet and greet. She spent quality time playing, petting and feeding them. Their litter was kept clean and she even sent frequent updates and kept us in the loop every time she went over. You could tell our cats enjoyed her visits by her photos. It was nice to not feel worried about their care while on vacation.”

“Rebecca did a great job taking care of our two cats, which included giving pills to our spicy orange cat! She was on time for each visit, and sent lots of pictures. We were so happy to see them getting lots of pets and love!”

“Heather and Robert both took care of Mamba for 5 days while I was gone. They were absolutely great with Mamba. They were thorough on their drop ins 3 times a day and kept me informed with each visit. I would highly recommend them! And I will for sure be using them again! Thank you Heather and Robert. I really appreciate your services. Mamba was full of energy and he loves his new toy! Thank you.”

“Samantha was incredibly responsive and offered to come meet our dogs before any services were booked to make sure everyone was comfortable. She took extra care with our rescue who needed a bit of extra support and was flexible in walking our other dog solo. We really enjoyed her updates and pictures from the visits.”

“Kelly did an amazing job taking care of my cat, Bella, while I was out on vacation for a week. After just a day or two, I could tell she was so comfortable around her and was happy to see her come in the door as told from the updates. I always got tons of cute pictures of Bella while I was away that gave me so much relief. This was my first time using Rover and I’d definitely book with her again!”
“This was our first experience with Rover. Kristin did a great job dropping in to visit, feed and let out our new puppy. I loved the photos she sent! We will definitely book her again.”

“Isabela was a blessing with my kitty at very short notice when I had a last minute trip. She checked in and sent pics of my cat and made me feel less guilty about leaving my sweet girl. I’d definitely book her again”

“Jessica has been great with our dogs. We had a few special instructions and she took care of everything we needed. Our dogs get let out twice a week by her, and sometimes she stays longer than we asked. She’s very good at updating our Rover account with all of the details and photos from each visit!”

“Julia was a great fit for our Patches! As first-time cat owners, my fiancée and I were nervous to leave Patches at home so we could go on vacation… but Julia sent us updates with every visit and multiple pictures as well. Not to mention, Julia is super flexible and easy to get ahold of. We certainly hope to book with her again!”

“We highly recommend Sarah. She communicated with us all the time and sent photos. Most of all she was so accommodating when we ran into issues with our travel plans. We will definitely use her again if she's available”

Beverly Hills cat parents share their Rover experiences
Jeannine and Justin did a fabulous job with our kitties! Spice is elderly and needs medication and they were able to take care of that. She also often uses the bathtub as a litter box. They cleaned up after her a the house was in great condition upon our return. They were also extremely communicative and we received photos and an update each day. I would highly recommend them!

Alex and Zach are awesome, they are incredibly responsive and attentive to all correspondence, take amazing care of feeding and caring for my cats, and make sure they take pictures of my cats for each visit. I super appreciate this as it gives me peace of mind seeing my pets while I'm away, and I know they are in good hands. Thank you Alex and Zach!
