“Bettina was fantastic! Our dogs took to her instantly during the pre-visit. She was very accommodating and was eager to learn all she could about our dogs so she could care for them as personally as possible. Her visit summaries were thorough, with great pictures, and gave us comfort that our babies were happy and well cared for. We will definitely use Bettina as our Rover again.”

“Scott goes the extra mile to make sure our skittish cat is well taken care of. She is afraid of everyone - but she has warmed up to Scott. I highly recommend Scott - he’s an excellent pet sitter!”

“Genuinely an incredible cat sitter. Very attentive to detail, thoughtful, and friendly. Informative and thorough Rover Cards. Went above and beyond, even offering to take our trash to curb while away. Would 100% recommend for kittens or young cats.”

“Stephanie was quick to respond and upon our first meeting we could tell she is a warm and caring person. She spent time getting to know us and our cat during the meet and greet. She was very comfortable with him and covered all the detailed instructions I gave her. She sent photos and gave details during each visit. This was our first time using Rover and she made it a great experience.”

“Samantha met us and our pets ahead of time for a meet and greet, was punctual and followed all directions, and sent a picture with a quick update at the end of her visit. Thanks for making it possible to get away for a stress-free evening!”
“I trust Brianna with my incredibly shy cat, she makes time to try to give her pets and churu treats even though the cat hides in a closet the whole time. Thank you for taking care of her again!”

About: I've care for my childhood dog since he was a puppy and all the way till his passing of old age. I have two sister's who all have doggies and they rely on me to care for them when needed. I know the importance of maintaining routine, identifying any triggers they might have, and being alert for any situation. I have a dog of my own, and through training him. i have learned a lot more then i knew before. But of course , you never truly stop learning. I'm excited to get to know each and every pet that i get the chance to meet. I work part time. I'm available 6 am to 10:30 am all days. Weekdays it varies. Some days I'm free until 4 pm. Other days I'm free 5pm till 10 pm. That is why i need a day in advance to know. I live alone with my dog, Zeus. he is super friendly with all dogs but i also have an extra bed room that is not used. whatever it is that you need me to do, i will do it.
“Wonderful first experience with Abbey! Great communication and my little Stella is usually so shy and barky to new people, but she warmed up instantly to Abbey on our initial meet and greet. I will definitely be booking again, thank you :)”

“Megan is an excellent communicator and is always on time. I can tell my dogs are getting her undivided attention when she is here with them. She always sends photos of each visit which puts my dog mom heart at ease. So happy to have her as our weekly dog sitter.”

About: I’m a responsible, patient, and attentive pet lover who treats every dog like family. I’m happy to stick to their normal routine, from walks and potty breaks to meals, playtime, and belly rubs. My goal is simple: to keep your pup happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I'm pretty flexible after work during the week and on weekends, I like going for walks, playing with dogs, and giving them plenty of attention. I'm pretty confident your pup and I will become fast friends! Your home is your pet’s happy place, so I’ll treat it with care and respect. I’ll follow your instructions, keep things clean and secure, and make sure your pup stays comfortable in their normal routine.
“Cerra did an amazing job! She was very accommodating last minute and was willing to come meet Abby before so she could see her beforehand. Abby is very cautious of people she doesn’t know but warms up fast and Cerra did a great job interacting with her. I would recommend her to others and book again if ever needed :)”

“We worked with Elizabeth for dog-walking our golden retriever, Steve, and had a great experience. She was on time and very friendly. She set the bar high as our first time using Rover - I can definitely see us booking with her again.”

“Megan was fantastic! She was on top of her messages and got back right away, did a meet and greet with Koko ahead of time to make sure they were a good fit, and took good care of him (and lots of adorable pictures) while she was over at the house! Koko was happy , and so were we! Peace of mind. Thanks, Megan, for taking care of our baby.”

“Lauren was amazing with my dog for the week we needed her! Very timely, communication wasn’t an issue and she is just a kind person. She sent lots of pictures too😍 I felt so much better leaving to go out of town with her watching my dog and taking care of a few items I needed done. I will definitely use Lauren in the future!”

Bettina was really great!! She took the time and effort to try to get our Nala to warm up to her (our cat is very shy and skittish so not an easy feat!) I always worry about our cat when we’re away but felt completely at ease and relieved to have Bettina checking in on her. The peace of mind was priceless for me :). Bettina also went above and beyond and brought in our mail and watered our porch flowers - thank you! We will definitely try to schedule her the next time! She really is wonderful!
Lizzi was awesome. This was our first time leaving our super social under 1 year old kitten and I was really nervous. It was so great seeing updates of Zuzu happily playing, sleeping, eating and drinking.. being her happy self while we were away. Lizzi’s communication and kindness made this all a really easy experience for each of us when usually leaving a pet for the first time is very anxiety inducing. Lizzi is exactly the person I was looking for to take perfect care of Zuzu while we were away. That lextra level of attention and care that goes beyond being in a safe place and being fed, but truly knowing that someone with experience and compassion has their best interest at heart.

This is our second time booking Leti and I would highly recommend her for drop ins and house sitting. She is very patient and loving to our animals! Leti followed care instructions carefully and also provided many pictures to keep us in the loop. Highly recommend.

First off Heather and Robert are so kind. We instantly knew they were a blessing. All four of our pets instantly warmed up to them. Even our more antisocial cat! They both are very knowledgeable about dogs and helped us find good toys/ treats for both our heavy chewers. Secondly, while we were gone they sent a lot of updates and pictures! We appreciated it a lot since we missed our furbabies. We would highly recommend them for anyone who is in need of pet care.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
