About: Heyy I am Emelia Moore, I am a sophomore at Michigan State and have had a total of 15 pets in my lifetime! I currently have three cats (Stelle, Lily, Oreo) and one dog (Mr.Barx). I am also a member of sorority Alpha Phi and on the Deans List! Although I do have sorority events some weeks, I am free most the time! I live in Birmingham but I bounce between there and East Lansing! Respect & Safety are something I prioritize. I will treat your pets as my own, and will not take the responsibility lightly. I will respect your home, and hopefully befriend your furbaby!

About: I have experience caring for senior dogs, dogs with seizures and heart conditions, as well as some experience with training puppies undergoing service dog training. I’m currently a doctoral student who’s available outside of class and during vacations. I have two pups of my own, a husky and a poodle, so I already spend lots of time with dogs in my day! When walking dogs, I always avoid other dogs because while your dog may be friendly, we don’t know how friendly other dogs in the neighborhood may be. When I swing by for puppy play and potty breaks, even if they are in a fenced in yard I always go outside with them and supervise. If they are undergoing training, if you leave me notes on their current training needs, I will practice their training when I stop by. I like to be very attuned to your dog’s body language when they’re in my care to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and happy.

Amber P.

Dianne S.
“Dianne is an excellent caretaker. I've known her for several years and see the love and care she has for her own dogs as well as other's dogs. She is passionate about learning and spends time educating herself on health and nutrition as well as numerous other topics. There aren't many people I would trust my dogs with but I know they are in the best of hands with Dianne. She's dedicated, responsible, caring and knowledgeable on top of being an all around genuine person.”

Katie A.
“Katie is a very responsible and trustworthy person to care for your pets! She is great with dogs (big, small, gentle and aggressive) and cats. Highly recommend!”

About: *Discounted pricing while I am new to Rover!* From nurturing neighborhood pets as a child to a decade-long career in the veterinary field and animal rescue realm, my journey has always revolved around caring for animals. In my 10+ years of pet sitting, I've had the joy of tending to a diverse array of companions—dogs, cats, reptiles, farm animals, and exotics. What truly sets my service apart is my expertise in medical pet sitting. As a seasoned veterinary technician, I specialize in caring for pets with unique needs—whether they're recovering from surgery, managing medical conditions, or require specialized attention. Administering medications, handling injections, and providing attentive care are second nature to me. Beyond technical skills, my approach is defined by my warm, calming energy. I've often found that even the most anxious pets tend to gravitate towards me, allowing me to establish trust and ensure their comfort while you're away. Your cherished fur-friends will receive not just care, but genuine affection and a sense of security. I take great pride in being entrusted with the well-being of your beloved companions. Rest assured, they'll be in capable and caring hands, receiving the same level of attention and love they're accustomed to in your absence. I look forward to providing a nurturing environment for your pets and granting you peace of mind during your time away! While my availability fluctuates seasonally, I have the flexibility of planning my weekly work schedule around pet-sitting - ensuring that your pets are my top priority and never an afterthought. When boarding within my own home, your pet will be welcomed by my two gentle, easy-going dogs, Benji & Koda, who always love having a new friend around the house. Your pet is welcome to cuddle up with us on the couch or make use of one of the many cozy nesting spots around the house. Outdoors I have a very large backyard (several acres, unfenced) for exploring. Leashes are always used with dogs to ensure their safety. If your pup likes walks, I live right along the Clinton River trail - perfect for a quick walk or a long hike. Bonus: My local ice cream shop offers free pup-cups! When boarding within your house, your pet and your environment will be treated with utmost respect. I always take basic household duties into account - including collecting mail, taking out trash, watering plants, and tidying up to ensure your home is left spotless for your return.

Kalynn O.
About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was around 10. Family, friends, my own pets, and working in an animal shelter for about 4 years. I’ve cared for big and small dogs, some experience with giving dogs medicine but not much. I have my own two cats and dog. Our one cats needs medicine everyday so I am familiar with that. I love all pets, breeds, and animals! I currently work full time, but am available on weekends mostly to house sit. In the fall I will be fully remote and have more flexibility during the day/week. Whatever your needs for your pets are I can handle it! I love play time with dogs and cats to get energy out. If they love to snuggle I am all for it also
