Cats and dogs are my world
I grew up on a farm in Germany with dogs, cats and horses and all of them have been part of my life ever since. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes and have cared for puppies/kittens, active and senior dogs and cats. In 2023, I completed a week of volunteering at a rural cat & dog animal welfare clinic in Mexico. Previously, while living in Thailand for ten years, I rescued countless stray cats and dogs, partnered with a local vet to get them neutered and vaccinated and personally nursed them back to health. This is how my current dog, Bruno, and cat, Tigger, came into my life. :)

Bettina has been caring for our aging pug, Eloise, who is going through some health challenges. Bettina has been the perfect caregiver and friend to our little old lady. She is patient and loving and so positive, has spent time outdoors with our dog so she gets some sun and fresh air while we are away at work, sits quietly and gives MASSAGES 😊 and makes sure she has the chance to go potty, get some treats (our dog’s favorite!) and is ready for an afternoon nap before she leaves. We are well informed with messages and pictures so we can relax and feel assured our baby is content and loved and cared for when we can’t be with her. It’s the absence of worry for me that is just priceless. Bettina is wonderful and I wish I’d met her sooner.

Dates de la garde
I am very flexible for drop-ins and daily walks. I walk my own dog three times a day in any kind of weather/temperature and I will do the same for yours. I am available to check in on your cat(s) as often as you would like me to. Additionally, I recently converted a spare bedroom into a comfortable place to board cats.

I will follow directions according to your wishes in caring for your pet. When I visit and/or walk your pet, I focus on them 100 percent, because this is their time to have fun, get snuggles and/or be active! All attention is on them! Since I have cared for many injured animals all of my life, I stay calm in times of stress and am comfortable in administering necessary care and medication. I do have private pet care insurance.

I love exploring the neighborhoods with my dog, let him sniff to his heart's content and will do the same with your's because outside time = THEIR time. During drop-ins, we will play and get crazy or just chill and relax with backscratches. Everything depends on the needs of the pet I am watching and on your preferences. Oh, and I am an expert cat snuggler, just ask Tigger!

- For walks, I would like to know if your dog is friendly with other dogs we might encounter on our outings. How about people? Do you want the walks to be pure exercise or a mix of exercise, sniffing and exploring. Is your dog/cat allergic to any treats? Can I bring treats?
