About: *Discounted pricing while I am new to Rover!* From nurturing neighborhood pets as a child to a decade-long career in the veterinary field and animal rescue realm, my journey has always revolved around caring for animals. In my 10+ years of pet sitting, I've had the joy of tending to a diverse array of companions—dogs, cats, reptiles, farm animals, and exotics. What truly sets my service apart is my expertise in medical pet sitting. As a seasoned veterinary technician, I specialize in caring for pets with unique needs—whether they're recovering from surgery, managing medical conditions, or require specialized attention. Administering medications, handling injections, and providing attentive care are second nature to me. Beyond technical skills, my approach is defined by my warm, calming energy. I've often found that even the most anxious pets tend to gravitate towards me, allowing me to establish trust and ensure their comfort while you're away. Your cherished fur-friends will receive not just care, but genuine affection and a sense of security. I take great pride in being entrusted with the well-being of your beloved companions. Rest assured, they'll be in capable and caring hands, receiving the same level of attention and love they're accustomed to in your absence. I look forward to providing a nurturing environment for your pets and granting you peace of mind during your time away! While my availability fluctuates seasonally, I have the flexibility of planning my weekly work schedule around pet-sitting - ensuring that your pets are my top priority and never an afterthought. When boarding within my own home, your pet will be welcomed by my two gentle, easy-going dogs, Benji & Koda, who always love having a new friend around the house. Your pet is welcome to cuddle up with us on the couch or make use of one of the many cozy nesting spots around the house. Outdoors I have a very large backyard (several acres, unfenced) for exploring. Leashes are always used with dogs to ensure their safety. If your pup likes walks, I live right along the Clinton River trail - perfect for a quick walk or a long hike. Bonus: My local ice cream shop offers free pup-cups! When boarding within your house, your pet and your environment will be treated with utmost respect. I always take basic household duties into account - including collecting mail, taking out trash, watering plants, and tidying up to ensure your home is left spotless for your return.

About: 5yrs experience working as a vet assistant in my teen years, have 2 rescue dogs of my own (Akita/pit and Presa Canario) who had their share of rescue dog struggles, so I’m familiar with headstrong bully breeds with a bit of anxiety. Willing to walk 2 dogs at a time. Comfortable with all sizes and breeds. Just need to earn a little extra income at the moment. Dog mom, toddler mom, pre-law student. Happy to do brief interviews, would love to meet your dog(s) and learn about them and their preferences, training, any behavioral concerns prior to doing walks! I am happy to walk your dogs while my son is in school. I can be available between 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri depending on my in-office work hours until I find a full- time permanent position that works with my son and my school schedule. Let’s talk about what your dogs need and how I can best help you take care of them while you’re at work. I am happy to accommodate whatever needs your pet may have. I am comfortable with giving medications- I even have experience caring for diabetic animals (checking their blood sugar and administering insulin as needed), feeding, walking, play time, practicing their training if you will demonstrate your cues and practices for me. I’m also happy to just do a drop by and let them out to potty or administer medications when you’re unavailable if you’d like. Let’s talk about what services you need for your dogs!

About: I grew up with dogs and cats as pets, and enjoy giving them them lots of TLC. I am very flexible, but specialize in smaller dogs. I am retired and don't have children in my home. I have a very flexible schedule on weekdays and weekends. I have the time and resources to care for pets in my home and/or my client's home. I don't have a fenced yard but have safe sidewalks in the neighborhood. I am very safety conscience and respectful of neighbors, both at my home and my client's home.

I’ve dog sat many different dogs for long periods of time and also walked neighbors dogs for a couple years now. I’d love to walk your pet! I am currently attending school at Oakland Community College and taking online classes. This means I’m available throughout the whole week! I am also playing softball at OCC, practices are only twice a week for a few hours so my schedule is pretty open! I would love to walk your dog! I am a responsible, caring, and loving person who will enjoy spending time with your pets! I’ll make sure to give your pet lots of attention and plenty of fresh air. Plus, I will keep you updated with cute pictures of us on our walk! :)
