From the first minute I spoke to Zoe, I knew that I had hired a great person to watch Flex and take him for a walk. She came over the night before and did a meet-and-greet. Flex had other ideas, but she communicated with me, which put me at ease. I highly recommend Zoe.

About: I have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, from puppies/kittens to senior animals who need extra patience and care. I’ve cared for my 14-year-old Yorkie all the way through her senior years, so I understand how important consistency and comfort are - especially for older pets. I truly fall in love with every animal I meet, including the stray/feral cats/kittens I’ve helped care for since 2020. I treat every pet like my own, communicate clearly with owners, and always make sure your pet feels loved, happy, and well cared for. I’m currently searching for full-time work so I am currently available anytime of the week! Once work is found I would still be available evenings and weekends. I have two cats we saved from the streets (3 and 4 years old), and grew up with a Yorkie who unfortunately passed last March. She lived with a huge yard, loved going on walks and could play all day long. My cats are my best friends and our home is filled with toys for enrichment and stimulation (boxes, scratch boards, play mice, battery-operated flopping fish, etc.)

About: I started off as a groomer in 2015 helping my mom open her grooming shop. For two years I helped her establish a successful business all the while falling out of love with working as a dog groomer. I love the idea of working with animals especially dogs I just didn't have a passion for haircuts. Luckily or unluckily when I added a new dog to our household in 2017 there were some clashing between the new pup and the family dog. It all came to a head and we had to hire a trainer. Unfortunately over $1,000 later we still had issues and I now know that trainer didn't have the skill set needed to help us. Luckily instead of giving up on the dog in 2018 I was inspired to go learn how to be a better professional dog trainer with the knowledge to help behavioral cases like our family dog so I packed my bags and moved down to Austin to attend Starmark Academy. After graduating top of my class I was offered an internship which then became a full-time position as their in-house behavioral trainer. I spent three years working for them in that role eventually leading up their training department. I mostly focused on private lessons, group classes, day training, and board and trains while in that position. At the start of 2021 I was offered a position as the lead instructor for the school of dog trainers that I had attended and I spent the next year and a half teaching at that school. About a year and a half into the teacher gig I started to miss working with owners and their dogs and also due to some company changes I didn't agree with I chose the part ways with them in early 2022. I in turn started my own business Lucky Paws Dog Training. At the time in Austin I offered in home training, daycare style training, boarding, walk-in visits, and board and trains out of my house. However this fall I have moved back to be closer to family. As such I am hitting the reset button on my business however I currently lack the space to offer most of those services in house as I rebuild my clientele. As I'm currently unable to offer consistent boarding I wanted to give Rover a try. Currently being my own boss with Lucky Paws Dog Training my schedule is very flexible and I set it myself. However I am a dog dad myself so the only two conflicts will be occasional 1 hour lessons that I have obligations with my clients for for time to let my own dogs out and run around. However I currently live with family so they don't need to stay with me overnight when I have clients that need me to stay the night. If ever needing to transport dogs I do have multiple rough tough Kennels. They aren't crash tested in the same ways of like an impact crate however they have been proven in real life instances. As far as care for my walks walk-in visits and overnight stays I do have a long laundry list of past clients who have used my services in Texas who would vouch for my credibility and care with their pups. But it goes without saying my background in dogs and schooling and 10 years experience puts me in a very comfortable position to safely care for dogs in almost any situation. I've handled a lot of dogs over the years some of which were been not so happy with my presence as a stranger in their home. I can promise confident Professional Care with safety in mind.

About: I am always smiling brightly every time I have the opportunity to be with an animal. (I have many photos of this to share!) I love all types of these precious beings! Some of my life experiences include: Parenting Dogs, Cats, Kittens, Lizards, and Senior Pets. I have assisted in kitten birth and successfully bonded with, and adopted a feral kitten who (still) adores me... Yay! 😁 I have also cared for a very sick lizard who required a lot of care by myself for a few long months. All types of animals seem to be attracted to me, including... dogs, cats, ferrets, horses, donkeys, goats, possums, squirrels, etc. I love the saying, "If animals are drawn to you, it's not random. They can sense good energy and are naturally drawn to calm and safe vibes." I have been a volunteer at the Michigan Humane Society and I am also a medical professional (for humans). *Disclaimer: My '30' years of experience is personal, not professional. 📆 My typical availability might be something like: M-Th evenings 6-9pm (I may arrive in medical scrubs), Friday afternoon 10am-3pm and some Saturdays and Sundays (but not all). ✨ This schedule is not definite, not always available and varies. Sometimes I will even be available other times. I will keep my calander date availability as close to accurate as possible but times can't be scheduled daily so they won't be accurate in my calendar, unfortunately. 📆 🏠 House sitting can also 'sometimes' be booked with notice if not marked 'Unavailable' in my calendar, even though that service is not activated in my profile. 🏠 👍🏾 Since I am attempting to transition from human care to animal care, I still work full time (plus) in the Human Healthcare field and my work schedule varies. 👍🏼 🐈‍⬛ I have always had a strong desire to work with animals and I am hoping to finally transition from human care to animal care. I did not choose to work medically with animals as my career because I prefer to interact with animals and enjoy what they bring to the world, rather than do restraining and invasive procedures on them. 🐶 I am pretty intuitive about what makes an animal happy (and not) and I would make their time with me as awesome as I possibly can! Additionally, I would happily engage farm animals, birds, and others to my full ability!

About: I have owned dogs and cats and love them like children. I love to play and cuddle with them. I am good at spoiling them and also make sure they get their routine checkups. Also have had their teeth cleaned and use flea prevention. I have taken care of multiple dogs and cats over the years on and off. I love to walk, the more the better. I also donate to rescue agencies to help them care for those in need. I am self employed so my hours vary and are fairly flexible. I don't ever work long hours so I am always available up to a few times a day or could possibly do overnight stays. I have 2 cats at home so it's best if I take care of yours in your home..It's still possible I could take them in mine if introduced and they get along. I follow directions well and give a lot of attention..

About: I provide reliable, structured dog care with a calm, patient approach. I focus on safety, consistency, and clear communication so you always know your dog is in good hands. I’m a dedicated dog owner who understands routines, energy management, and individual temperaments. I do especially well with dogs who need steady walks, clear boundaries, or extra reassurance when their owner is away. You can expect on-time visits, long walks when requested, and detailed updates after every visit. I treat every dog like my own and take responsibility seriously. Dog care is built into my daily routine, allowing me to offer consistent availability for private dog walks, drop-in visits, and overnight dog sitting. I plan my schedule around reliability, punctuality, and maintaining each dog’s normal routine, including early mornings and evenings, so dogs stay comfortable and well cared for. I care for dogs primarily in their own home to maintain familiarity, routine, and low stress. I follow owner instructions closely, prioritize leash safety, secure entry and exit, and maintain a clean, calm environment. I closely monitor behavior, feeding, medications, and routines to ensure each dog’s safety and well-being.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was about 6 years old, I started an account with rover to start professionally providing pet care in February of 2018 and have had many amazing years watching all my client's beloved pets. I am a seasoned animal lover and showed a special interest in animals at an incredibly young age. I grew up around dogs and cats my entire life and just knew that my calling was something animal related when I came to realize how easily I bonded with animals and understood their wants and needs. Below is a list of certifications I hold related to pet care: Pet First Aid & CPR Certification Certificate ID # 9642 Pet First Aid Certification Certificate ID # OA70R7T5B0 Pet Psychology Certification Certificate ID # U2ZOTS8QIA Pet Sitting Certification Certificate ID # EX3TM1PVG6 Pet Nutrition Certification Certificate ID # CW9D9A0X4J Dog Grooming Certification Certificate ID # 4A474WKXCA Complete Pet Care Certification Certificate ID # C2RCIS2DVT Introduction to Being a Dog Trainer Certification Certificate ID # K5ACO2IESN Animal Physiotherapy Certification Certificate ID # X4JJDFFG6O Animal Reiki Certification Certificate ID # P99J3MUVU2 Canine Communication Certification ID # A5RHIIXAGR Introduction to Cat Behavior Certification Certificate ID # KEP4JWI9KC Introduction to Reptile Care Certification Certificate ID # GFRBHJ8ZA3 Learn to Communicate with Animals and Nature Certification Certificate ID # S48WZHY5GF The Advanced Animal Care Certification Certificate ID # 5GZV0N34K5 I am a full-time pet sitter! I am also a big home body, so watching my client's pets is something that is extremely easy for me as I am at home most of my day relaxing with my pets and my client’s pets. My schedule is moderately flexible, but I do prefer drop off and pick up times be kept to 1 hour time frames where possible. Please be on time for drop-offs and pick-ups as I am leaving that period open for you and your pup. If you need to make any changes to drop off and pick up times you will need to request these changes no later than 24 hours prior, for me to best accommodate the changes needed. If you are running more than 30 minutes behind the day of, please notify me as soon as possible. Otherwise, I may not be able to accommodate your delay. Late drop-offs and pick-ups of 1 hour or more will result in a $20 late fee. To avoid this, I recommend allotting yourself ample time in case of travel delays, traffic, etc. That being said, please only input a feasible time frame when submitting your booking. There are no exceptions. **ATTENTION DAYCARE CLIENT'S** Doggy daycare for dogs needing constant care is only available for evenings 5 AM-3 PM. If your pet cannot be left alone for 2-4 hours, I will not be a good fit for daycare outside of that time frame. **ATTENTION ALL CLIENTS** -A meet and greet is required prior to your first booking with me to ensure a good fit for everyone, and to allow your pet to familiarize itself with my home, myself, and my other pets. Each new client will be entitled to one free 45-minute meet and greet. Clients who would like multiple meet and greets will be charged a $15 fee for each 45-minute meet and greet thereafter. -I provide a minimum of one update per day with a minimum of 2-5 photos or videos, typically in the afternoon. Though most clients receive more than the minimum. If you have specific preferences on updates or would not like updates during certain times, please communicate this at the meet and greet and I will accommodate within reason. -My rates are 100% firm, I do not provide any discounted rates, price adjustments, or match other sitters pricing. In my home safety is a big part of what makes me such a great choice for a sitter. I have taken the time to dog proof a specialized dog area in my home to make a safe environment for your pet to stay in when they are here. Some of the safety measures I have in place are child safety locks on all low cabinets containing any chemicals as well as magnets on cabinets containing dishes etc. I have child safety locks on all stove knobs as well as one on the oven door, all closets are also secured with child safety locks, and baby gates to contain the dog's to the safe dog space I have set up with plenty of area to play and nothing dangerous they can get into, these baby gates also act as a second barrier to any doors that lead directly outside to further limit any chances of escapes. Furthermore, all breakables, and decorations in my home are secured down with museum putty to prevent mishaps of things getting broken when pets are playing. And lastly my biggest safety measure in place is having pet monitoring cameras that I can watch through an app on my phone to ensure that even when I'm not right there watching them, they are safe and still under a watchful eye. I also have several different sized crates on hand for use if your pet needs crating and in case of an emergency. I have a large fenced in yard that is great for exercising medium-high energy dogs, and I also have a couple stakes with long leads on hand if ever needed for extra security during outside time with toy dogs or dogs prone to jumping or climbing fences. I DO NOT offer walking services, dog park visits, or any non-medical or non-emergency trips out of my home as I feel that safety is much easier to manage in an in-home controlled and monitored environment! Pets are never left unsupervised outside and when temperatures exceed 75-80 degrees, outside time is limited to prevent heat exhaustion especially with brachycephalic dog breeds and other breeds prone to heat exhaustion. I also have window A/C units and temperature gages throughout my home for constant temperature control and monitoring. My specialized dog area is a very large area that can comfortably accommodate all the dogs I watch and leave plenty of room for playing indoors. I have decked it out with a twin mattress for your dog to relax on as well as several other dog beds to choose from, I have lockers to keep your pet’s food and belongings in so that it is secured and kept track of, I even have a large toybox full of chews and toys galore. My home is kept neat, tidy, and clean. All surfaces, crates, toys, food or water bowls are routinely and thoroughly sanitized for human and pet safety. All dogs in my care are fed in crates or in separate areas to limit anyone snacking on someone else’s food and for me to closely monitor your pet’s eating habits. I offer multiple water dishes filled with clean fresh water inside and outside 24/7 to ensure your pet is always hydrated. I am pet first aid and CPR certified in case of an emergency where such is needed. I am very familiar with oral and injectable medication administration, and I have experience with special needs dogs such as Tri-pod dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, dogs with rear end paralysis, senior dogs with incontinence issues, fearful or skittish dogs, and dogs who are deaf and or blind. I am very keen on monitoring the health of all pets in my care, I pay special and close attention to things such as eating habits, water intake, bowel movements, urination patterns, and any changes in mood, demeanor, or activity levels. I have 24/7 access to a vehicle for any needed vet visits when your pet is in my care, but non-emergency visits are subject to transportation fees as I see fit. Please also note that pets needing constant care or extreme accommodation are subject to different nightly rates on a case-to-case basis. I watch up to 5 dogs from different families at the same time and require a meet and greet with every single dog and their owners before booking a stay to ensure a good fit for me and my pack lifestyle. I thoroughly screen every client to always ensure a safe healthy and fun environment for all dogs. Dogs are introduced to my 3 indoor cats to ensure a healthy relationship with them. I have several other caged pets, but dogs are not permitted to interact with them ever and they are kept in areas where dogs are not allowed or able to get to. Boarded dogs are either put in a separate room behind a closed door or crated (if crate trained) for the duration of any meet and greets I may do when your pet is boarded with me to always ensure their safety. When dogs are dropped off, I do introductions of each dog I am boarding one at a time outside in my fenced yard and closely monitor each dog’s behavior and body language to ensure a healthy relationship. I further encourage a great relationship between each dog by using positive reinforcement such as treats, toys, playtime, and praise. I also provide transportation of dogs to and from my home for boarding at an extra fee depending on distance. For transportation your pets are required to have a securely fitted harness so that it can be hooked to a dog seat buckle for everyone’s safety. Please note that dogs CAN NOT be buckled in by their collars as this is a choking hazard, it is the owner’s responsibility (unless previously discussed) to supply a harness for transport. I also offer sanitary baths, nail trimming, and basic maintenance brushing for an extra fee. Sanitary baths with high quality dog specific shampoos and conditioners (type varies depending on color and coat types) are $10. Basic nail trims are $5, and basic maintenance brushing or coat blow out is $15. If any fur matting is present, I will decline any brushing services and suggest you take your pet to a licensed groomer upon your return. I can only provide basic maintenance/sanitary grooming services at this time. I also will not do anything your dog is extremely uncomfortable with so if your pet is not used to any of the bathing/grooming you asked me to do I may decline to do it if I see fit for any reason, but you will not be charged for services not completed. I am home full time and a homebody so caring for pets easily fits into my schedule and lifestyle. Pets are always with someone and only left alone for a few hours for errand's when needed. Safety is a huge part of my sitting style, I hold several certifications such as pet first aid & CPR and many others related to the care of many species of animals. I have a pet proofed room for dogs to play in and hangout in, and I have nanny cameras to monitor pets when I am in other areas of the home or out running any errand's.

About: Dogs have been in my life since I was kid. My first dog, Bandit, was part-Akita and part- Dalmatian. Then I had Riley, a mixed mutt and rescue, for 14 years. I have dog sat for my neighbors as a kid, and recently dog sat for family and friends, including house sitting so the pups don't have to leave home. I give the best head scratches and can play a mean game of fetch and tug of war (try to beat me doggos). I enjoy going on adventures and exploring the neighborhood and will protect my clients from any pesky squirrels and rabbits. I will also send pictures or videos and an amusing caption to keep you in touch with your fur baby! I work full time as a virtual high school teacher, and have plenty of flexibility during the summer. My Riley has passed recently and spending time with dogs will be nice to do. I have a fenced backyard and a decent size house. I have taken care of dogs with fenced yards and those without. When there's no fence, I keep the pups on a leash. I never let my own dogs go off leash. I will love your fur baby as if they were my own. I will play and walk, and in the event of fireworks or thunderstorms, I will provide cuddles and distract them with my favorite movie- Jurassic Park. It worked for Riley.
