About: I've been a cat lover since my mom adopted kittens for my sis and i when i was a kid. I love how cats have boundaries and i have a lot of experience dealing with cats who aren't fond of new people. I dont mind cleaning litter boxes or administering medications to senior cats. I have two cats of my own who i adore. My biggest joy is seeing how much a shy cat warms up to me during a visit.
About: I’ve cared for different kinds of dogs on a regular basis and for short periods of times as well. I can also check in on cats as well and feed them and make sure they’re okay. I work for the schools and I am currently on summer break right now so my schedule is extremely flexible. I have my own dog I care for as well but will definitely have the time to check in on your fur babies as well. I always check my backyard for critters before letting my dog out, especially at night. I personally get skunks in my area frequently and it’s a must. My dog has a doggy door and loves outside time but I always know where he is. I feed him and make sure he’s always comfortable. I have created a dedicated, dog-proofed area within my home designed specifically for pet care and supervision. My home includes: -Child safety locks on cabinets, closets, stove knobs, and oven doors -Secured gates creating multiple safety barriers near exits -Pet monitoring cameras for continuous supervision -Multiple crate sizes available if needed or in case of emergencies -A large fenced yard for safe exercise and play -Additional long-lead safety systems for small dogs or escape-prone dogs -Climate-controlled indoor areas with monitored temperatures -Thorough sanitation of all pet areas, bowls, toys, crates, and surfaces Pets are never left unsupervised outdoors, and outdoor time is carefully monitored during warmer temperatures to prevent overheating, especially for brachycephalic or heat-sensitive breeds. I also maintain 24/7 access to transportation in the event veterinary care is needed during your pet’s stay. --------------------------------------------------------- Multi-Dog Household & Socialization I maintain a structured and carefully managed pack environment and may care for up to 5-7 dogs from different households at one time. Every dog is thoroughly screened and introduced slowly and safely to ensure compatibility and positive interactions. My home also includes two indoor cats. Dogs are introduced carefully to ensure appropriate behavior around cats. Above all, my goal is to provide a safe, structured, loving, and low-stress environment where pets can feel comfortable, secure, and cared for while their owners are away. I am a full-time pet sitter, so caring for animals is my primary focus and fits naturally into my daily routine. Because I spend most of my time at home, pets receive plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. I am only away for short periods to complete errands or provide scheduled drop-in visits for other clients. Safety is a cornerstone of my pet-sitting approach. I hold multiple certifications, including Pet First Aid and CPR, along with additional training in the care of a variety of animal species. And while our profile says that we only take ONE dog at a time, we are happy to take two or three AS LONG AS THEY ARE FROM THE SAME FAMILY. We strongly believe in making your dog’s (or dogs’) experience as close to what you provide at home. That’s why we don’t have any other animals of our own and we won’t care for multiple dogs from outside your own family. It’s safer for your dog(s) and there is much less anxiety for them when they aren’t faced with unknown dogs. We endeavor to make your dog(s) feel as comfortable and calm as possible during their stay with us. Safety first! Our entire home has been recently remodeled and is very dog friendly. We keep chemicals out of sight and behind closed doors. Our yard is fenced in and there is a lot of space to run and play. Joe is “dog-walker extraordinaire” and loves to take long or short walks any time of day.
