About: I have owned dogs and cats and love them like children. I love to play and cuddle with them. I am good at spoiling them and also make sure they get their routine checkups. Also have had their teeth cleaned and use flea prevention. I have taken care of multiple dogs and cats over the years on and off. I love to walk, the more the better. I also donate to rescue agencies to help them care for those in need. I am self employed so my hours vary and are fairly flexible. I don't ever work long hours so I am always available up to a few times a day or could possibly do overnight stays. I have 2 cats at home so it's best if I take care of yours in your home..It's still possible I could take them in mine if introduced and they get along. I follow directions well and give a lot of attention..
About: I've owned and cared for dogs since I was 10 and have always had one or two dogs living in my house. I've raised several dogs and cared for them from puppy stages to their senior years. I've owned and cared for many breeds from golden retrievers to pitties, Chihuahuas and shepherds. I have never met a dog that hasn't become my friend. I run my own business in the evenings during the week but am available before 4pm during the weekdays and can be available all day on weekends. Your house your rules, tell me exactly how you want your dog cared for and I'll have no problem providing that service. From walks to playing with them in a yard to cleaning up after them.
“Samantha is wonderful with the dogs. You can see how much she really cares for animals. The photos and updates she sent were fantastic. I can't wait to book with her again.”

“We did a meet and greet with Lauren for our Pitty and she was just wonderful! We are looking for someone to house sit and do drop ins from time to time. She was timely, kind, trustworthy, and most of all she could handle our high energy pup amd he loved her! Thank you Lauren!”

“Samantha is the best! We recently had the pleasure of working with Samantha, and I cannot recommend her enough. Leaving our two senior dogs, Iggy and Pip, in someone else’s care in our home was a new approach as we previously boarded them at pet hotels. They both have specific needs—picky eating habits, unusual routines, and require a bit of extra TLC due to their age. But Samantha handled everything with such compassion, attention, and professionalism that we were instantly put at ease. From our first conversation, she made the effort to really understand who Iggy and Pip are—not just their care instructions, but their personalities, comforts, and quirks. She was patient with Pip’s mealtime drama (he gets sick of different foods regularly) and attentive to Iggy’s anxious moments too. They each have their own routine, and she respected those down to the smallest detail. Throughout our time away, Samantha kept us updated with thoughtful messages and photos, which made all the difference. We came home to two happy dogs who clearly felt safe and cared for in her presence. If you have pets who need a little extra attention or just want peace of mind knowing your dogs are in the best hands, Samantha is it. We’re so grateful to have found her—and so are Iggy and Pip.”

I currently am in a hybrid masters program for Occupational Therapy & work as a substitute in a center based school, which allows for flexibility in my schedule as needed! I will offer consistent and reliable care for your pet, regardless of size, breed, or behavior. If any concerns arise, I will contact you immediately using your preferred method & will be willing to help out in any way possible.
“Heather and Robert were amazing with our dog! We had just moved to the area and were going out of town and nervous about leaving her alone so soon after moving. Heather and Robert were so professional and kind and immediately put us at ease. They sent lots of pictures and updated us regularly which made us feel like we had really put our girl in the right hands. Will definitely be using them again!”

About: I've had dogs since I was little, and I am a compassionate dog caretaker. I love all dogs, young and old, healthy and ill. I want to spend all of my time with dogs and make them feel loved and taken care of! As of now I am not working, I just have two trips out of state before I start school in Chicago, at which time I will be available! I am attentive and careful when caring for dogs, and when taking them on walks I am patient and allow them to take their time and sniff around. I love playing with dogs' toys or cuddling with them. It makes me so happy to make them feel happy and loved.
About: I’ve been taking care of various animals big and small since I was young. I have experience with puppies, sick dogs and nervous ones. I have also worked with cats too! I work part-time and go to university. I am a commuter so I’m all over Metro Detroit! While my schedule changes each semester I keep relatively the same structure and availability! I like to maintain a clean environment and keep pets healthy. I have experience administering medication such as pills and I am able to accommodate any special needs of pets :)
About: I’ve taken care of my mini poodle starting at 3 months old. I’ve also watched a family members dog in house for months since I was 10 years old. I’m currently working part time, 24 hours a week and 12 hours a day. When I’m not working I let my family members dog out while they’re at work and feed/play with her. I make sure my dog receives lots of love, I always make sure her water bowl and food bowl is full. I love dogs of all sizes and kinds and think they’re such loving animals.
About: I have had a dog my entire life. I have cared for dogs for three years and enjoy caring for multiple dogs at a time. There are very few times where your dog or cat would be left alone. My normal schedule for letting out dogs is every two hours. My back yard is fully fenced with plenty of room for the dogs to run around. Your dog will have access to fresh water, couches, dog beds, and treats! I don't crate unless asked. I do charge a cleaning fee if anyone has frequent accidents or marks.
About: We currently have one small dogs (Beauie) and a small cat (Uni) and we've been volunteering at an animal shelter the past year. I'm super excited to start with Rover and currently I'm providing limited services such as doggy daycare and boarding. I am home most of the time with online classes and my partner Terry work from home, so we will be able to provide care all day! We like to take Beauie out to the local dog park every other day to run around and play, so if you board with us or just day care, we can also take them out to the dog park as well! :) I'm currently working part-time and taking online classes so my schedule is pretty open. My partner works from home, so someone will always be home. I'm free most days of the week! I have one small/medium dog and a small cat. I live in an apartment, but I will keep them separated if there is a boarding service.
“Sophie was amazing!! She was punctual and sent photos and updates. So organized and followed the endless instructions I left. My greyhound puppy is not the easiest to handle. She is a little land shark and I was worried about leaving her. But Sophie and Lovey bonded immediately. I appreciate all of your patience and hard work! Thank you, Sophie. We are clients for life ?”

This was the first time Callahan looked after my pets, and she did a great job. She sent me photos and check in times and when I return, my pets were happy and while taking care of, I will definitely hire her to take care of my pets again when I’m out of town. Thank you very much Callahan for taking care of my babies.

Our big girl was diagnosed with diabetes earlier this year and we couldn’t get family and friends to agree to give her her insulin shot when we needed someone to come let the dogs in and out and feed them on occasion. I turned to Rover to see if we could find someone to do it. I chose Lauren, and she was willing and able. She showed up right on time, and took care of the dogs for us. We will be scheduling with her again in the future and are very excited that we can do day trips again and not have to worry about our big girl getting her meds properly! Thanks Lauren, you are so very much appreciated!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
