“Mackenzie dropped in to feed our cats while we were out of town. She was very attentive, organized a pre-visit to ensure she knew the instructions and was always on time. Any time she had additional questions she asked and she let us know our cats were doing well. I would highly recommend Mackenzie for anyone else in the Reno area.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was in high school and I am currently 29. I have had a few regular clients over the past ten years and am looking to get on Rover since several of my regular clients have sadly passed on. I have experience with older dogs and administering medication. I have 10+ years of experience with taking care of dogs. I have a hybrid job that allows me to work from home about 70% of the time. My weekends and evenings are also free. I would love to take care of your fur babies! Nothing sounds better to me than getting paid to take care of and love your dogs! I have an attention to detail that allows me to take care of your pets with the love and attention you would! I am able to stick to a schedule and accommodate any activities or needs that your dog has.
“This was our second time booking with Libby & just like the first time- absolutely no issues. She took great care of our cat as well as feeding the birds (and squirrels). We completely trust her with our cat & most definitely will book her again.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs both large and small for 10 years for friends and family, both in their home and my own. Willing to walk, play, feed, water, administer basic medications or just provide companionship. Trustworthy, compassionate and reliable. I currently work Monday to Friday but have open availability all day on weekends as well as weekdays after 6pm. I have my own dog and cat as well. I do live in an apartment so would be limited to one dog in my home. I have a 24 pound Cavachon who is friendly with all dogs. I walk my dog multiple times a day and would give yours the same care. I also have a medium kennel if your dog requires that for short absences if that is an option. At a clients home I can play with the pet in a fenced yard or offer 30-60 minute walks multiple times a day. Will feed, play, clean up after pottying, and will give your pet plenty of love and pets!!

Work part time/remotely. I have a fenced in patio area for bathroom relief and take dogs on walks in nearby parks to explore new places. My Bichon mix doesn’t respond to any harsh tones. As long as it’s the day I have available While I don’t have a dog I’m able to learn whatever is required to be meet your dogs needs. If they need help all I need is for you to tell me how to help them and they’ll be taken care of!
About: I'm experienced with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and ages, and as the pup parent to one who arrived from the rescue with severe separation anxiety, I know how important it can be to maintain a familiar and comfortable environment when a furry friend's family can't be around. I currently offer house sitting, drop-ins, and walks in the following communities: Auburn Hills, Macomb, Ray Township, Rochester, Rochester Hills, Romeo, Shelby Township, Sterling Heights, Utica, and Washington Township. I'm attentive and diligent in following any directions left for your pet's care, and more than happy to set aside time for scritches, head pats, and pup parent updates! What's more, my primary line of work allows me the freedom to work from anywhere with an internet connection, so there's no risk of being called away from house sitting for prolonged and unavoidable stretches. My primary work in TTRPGs is entirely online, mostly working evenings, so I tend to be pretty available during higher-demand times. Even if I'm on a work call, I have the flexibility to call a break in case of, say, urgent outside needs. First and foremost, I recognize that every pet will have different needs and expectations. I always do my best to maintain habits and environments as close to the pet's "normal" as possible, from meal times to outside habits and beyond. I firmly believe you searched up a Rover sitter instead of a high-traffic kennel for a reason, and I always aim for a standard of personalized care that reflects that intentionality.

Your pet’s comfort and well-being always come first 🐾 I currently work part time starting up my own business, pet sitting is helping me fund my goals! I am available in mornings, and afternoons. 🐕 Experience with group play, feeding schedules, and medication support 🐕 Comfortable with high-energy, shy, senior, and reactive dogs 🐕 Strong understanding of canine body language and safety 🐕 Consistent updates and photos during visits

About: I’ve helped out family friends and neighbors with their furry friends through home visits, overnight pet sitting, and helping with getting their energy out. I have been aiding those in my community since I was in high school and continue to do so when I am back in Troy. I am currently a college student, however I find joy in helping out others when I’m in town. I’m certified in Red Cross and StarGuard life guarding and am no stranger to safety! Although my certifications apply to humans, I can apply these skills to ensuring safety of your furry friends. I have worked with family members with their own pets as therapy animals and engaged in care and listed regiments for numerous dogs I’ve watched over. I am no stranger to dogs, having had 4 dogs within my home growing up and having my fair share taking care of them. I am great with following rules and specifications given to me, especially when it comes to caring for pets; they are family and deserve to be treated as such. I work outside and I am no stranger to the sun! I am more than willing to take a pup around the block or lay with them in the sun to give them some fresh air; even in rain we can walk together and towel off later. Rain doesn’t stop the zoomies! Although I do not have as much professional experience with pets as some others, I hope to be given a chance with my life filled with pets and genuine care and compassion for helping others with how busy life can get. Take your vacation, worry less about your furry friends having their needs met, call on me as someone eager and determined to help! I currently work a part-time seasonal job as a lifeguard at the local aquatic center. My schedule varies week to week, however I have days off and variance within the week that leaves me free within the morning/afternoon. On the days with long shifts, I am unable to leave work, however on other days I am available for whatever is needed! I am an early riser and tend to go to sleep later, therefore any early mornings for late nights will not be a problem for the care I can provide. It would be preferred to care for your pets within your own home, however I do not expect to stay the night or be cared for. I have a place of my own, although if needed, staying the night is not a problem. I am more than willing to travel to your home to meet your pet there to care for them. I do have a dog within my home, however he is a recent rescue and for your own pets safety as well as the utmost care being provided, bring them to my own home is not applicable. He is a friendly pup, however any potential negative interactions is something I would like to avoid to keep your pet safe. I will come to you, no problem at all!
About: I have been an animal lover for many years, having owned or lived with German Shepherds, a Husky/Shepherd mix, and currently a Siberian Husky and two cats. When I travel one of my greatest concerns is the well being of my animals. It's tough to have a good time or concentrate on a business trip of you're worried about your pets. I will treat your pets as if they were my own, offering you peace of mind and great care. I would require a Meet & Greet where we can get together. My goal would be to keep your pet's routine as normal as possible. Having done 30+ marathons I am more than capable of providing high energy dogs with adequate exercise either with walking or running. I am happy to communicate with you during your trip via FaceTime, phone calls, text, photos, or email to help you keep in touch with me and your pet, so you know how they are doing. I love being outdoors and am used to walking or running my own dogs. Sadly I list my Maximus to lymphoma in March, however he lived to age 14 and was running with me up to a few months before he passed. I would like to keep your dog's routine as normal as possible while keeping them safe at all times. I am still n effect trying to be you while you are away.

About: Hello! My name is Aiden. I'm a 20-year-old college student who has been pet-sitting since I was in high school. I have taken care of puppies and geriatric dogs and all ages in-between! I completed the Agriscience and Environmental Technologies course at Oakland Schools Technical Campus Northwest. The Animal Science track of the course taught me how to care of, groom, and manage the behavior of pets. I have taken care of a dog of my own since I was eight-years-old. His name is Bolt, and although he's gotten older and slowed down a bit since he was a puppy, he still has the most energy out of any 12-year-old dog I've ever seen! I'm currently on summer break from Michigan State University where I will be entering my final year as a Graphic Design Major in the fall. I have an internship with the USPBL on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but I still am free after 4:00 on those days, and on any other day of the week (besides Saturday 3:00-5:30 for mass)! I am a very attentive caretaker and always make sure that pets are properly fed, played with, walked, and given any medication needed. I also always make sure to clean up any messes I or the pet create, and let you know if I noticed anything off about the pet's movement or behavior. Unfortunately I cannot have pets in my house due to my dog who is used to being an only child.

Mekenzie stopped by twice on the Fourth of July to check on my dogs with very short notice. She followed all of my instructions, took great care of them, and made the whole process easy and stress-free. I really appreciated her reliability and would happily book her again.

Tyler was great! He was very friendly, easy to work with, and did great with my pets. He was flexible when I scheduled a meet and greet before the visit, and my pets immediately liked him, which says a lot, in my opinion! We would definitely recommend him as a sitter for anyone in the area!

Stephanie did a great job watching our GSP. Pictures were sent every day and it was clear to see he was getting attention and great play time. There was no issues with the holiday making the trip away more relaxed. She was flexible and communicated well as she did what was needed with her schedule keeping our pups needs in mind. Would recommend her and will be rebooking for our next trip.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
