About: I have taken care of my neighbors’ animals since I was nine years old. I often take care of their dogs for several days at a time while they’re away. I love taking care of animals and making them feel safe and cared for, despite their parents not being home. I have work 8-5 every weekday, but I can pet-sit afterwards and stop by during my lunch break! My weekends are completely free, so I can spend the whole day with your pet if they have more frequent needs. I have had experience from young puppies and kittens to senior dogs and cats. I understand that every animal has differing needs, so I will do my best to accommodate to everything that will make your pet feel safe.

About: Specialize in small dog boarding, and drop in visits for dogs of all sizes! Currently I have a loving 7lbs bichon mix. Previously I have had 1 australian shepard and 3 cats. I have worked with animal shelters-mainly dog and also cat rescue. I can also help with basic obedience training and leash walking. Would love to help take care of your fur baby! Work part time/remotely. I have a fenced in patio area for bathroom relief and take dogs on walks in nearby parks to explore new places. My Bichon mix doesn’t respond to any harsh tones. Therefore happy voices, positive reinforcement, patience and love was what got us on the same page. Would love to care for other animals the same way.

Leaving our two senior dogs, Iggy and Pip, in someone else’s care in our home was a new approach as we previously boarded them at pet hotels. They both have specific needs—picky eating habits, unusual routines, and require a bit of extra TLC due to their age. But Samantha handled everything with such compassion, attention, and professionalism that we were instantly put at ease. From our first conversation, she made the effort to really understand who Iggy and Pip are—not just their care instructions, but their personalities, comforts, and quirks. She was patient with Pip’s mealtime drama (he gets sick of different foods regularly) and attentive to Iggy’s anxious moments too. They each have their own routine, and she respected those down to the smallest detail. Throughout our time away, Samantha kept us updated with thoughtful messages and photos, which made all the difference. We came home to two happy dogs who clearly felt safe and cared for in her presence. If you have pets who need a little extra attention or just want peace of mind knowing your dogs are in the best hands, Samantha is it. We’re so grateful to have found her—and so are Iggy and Pip.”
