About: I’ve been pet sitting for family, friends and neighbors since I was a 16 years old. I have experience with older dogs and aggressive dogs. I like to stick to the routines the dog is used to keep your dog, happy and healthy. I grew up with dogs and owned and trained two Australian Cattle dogs. I strive to meet the unique needs of each pet. I am getting back into the workforce after a leave of absence to help with family health problems. I currently have a fairly flexible schedule that allows me to work mornings, afternoons and evenings, depending on your needs. I will take your dog on walks, play with them and feed them and make sure they get lots of love. I do not take dogs into my home, as my dog likes being the only dog, but will happily pet sit or walk your dog or dogs.

About: I have cared for family and friends pets for 18 years. From puppies and their training needs to 13 year old dogs who just want to snuggle. While not a professional trainer, I have trained many dogs on how to walk nicely on a lead and various tricks to add some fun your pet's life. My own dog is off lead trained and will stay close on walks. I work on a positive reward system of high value treats and praise, providing minor corrections to pets such as a sound or turning away to ignore unwanted behavior forcing them to thinking for my attention. I work for the school district during the year so until school is out I'm available only on Fridays after 5:30pm, all of Saturday and Sundays until 4:30pm. This, of course, will change once school is out for the summer. As a house sitter, I will stay in your home with your pets for the amount of time you'll be gone so they will always have company. Care instructions will be followed to the letter. I have my own boy and I do what I would want others to do for him. As a walker, I will go as far as your particular pet can go. If that's around the block, great! If it's further, even better! As I said I have my own dog so if you'd like your pet to have a walking buddy let me know and we can set up a meet and greet before any official walks! If you're in need of a drop in visit just for potty and playtime, that's fantastic! I'm more than happy to play with your furbaby!

“Amy is the best! She takes great care of our 3 cats and leaves a thorough review. They all love her and she has gotten used to their individual personalities.”

“Thank you so much. Extremely last minute and Victoria did not disappoint. Great communication, she went above and beyond. I’m beyond grateful for her prompt response and making me feel at ease. Charlie showed no signs of stress when I came home. He was the same happy go lucky dog to greet me.”

About: I've had several dogs in my life and have enjoyed them all, especially our current dog, Maizey who is very friendly and energetic and would love to come along for the walk. We'll give your dog the same love and attention as our own. Use promo code: TEDR10205 if you are new to Rover.com for $20 off your first booking. I'm currently retired and can walk your dog in YOUR neighborhood almost any day and most evenings. I also offer daycare from our SECOND home. I normally walk our dog around 7am and again in the afternoon or evening. But I'm flexible and can adjust to your dog's needs. I would always prefer to do a meet & greet before your actual stay so that you and your dog can get to know us.

“Our boy LOVES Brooke! She is very attentive and makes sure he does his business every time she comes to let him out. I feel very comfortable with her in my home- always locks the doors cleans up after herself. Broke leaves detailed evaluations with photos of our pup. 100/10!!”

About: I have taken care of dogs since my teens and i have taken care of all types of dogs and cats. Neighbors, family and friends have told me i am super reliable and always took great care of the animals. I have worked at a doggie day care for about a year and at a vet clinic for 3 years. I currently work as a receptionist at Oakland Animal Hospital. I am looking to make this my full time job but right now I am able to do any time of the weekends. I am available after 4pm for right now. I am able to stay at your house to pet sit and take them on walks and to parks. I have reliable transport to get to your home or to take your pet anywhere. I currently can not board pets in my own home yet but would be willing to in the future.

“Claire was a great communicator and gave us great peace of mind while we were away that our dogs were being well cared for. She’s really kind and easy to work with. I’m so glad I connected with her and will hire her again next time.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs all my life. I grew up with two and currently have a Husky and Terrier. Friends and family over the years have relied on me to watch over their fur babies, stop in and check on them for a simple belly scratch and potty break, all the way to staying the night to give them piece of mind while they're gone. I currently work full time. M-W I am able to stop into clients homes after I get off work, after 3. Thursday and Friday I work from home so besides meetings, I am able to drop in at any time of the day. Saturdays and Sundays I am pretty flexible as well :) Each client is different but I will learn what is best for their pet when I meet them. I won't crate their pet unless asked. Going outside with pets when they're out doing their business, and keeping them on a leash to keep them safe is my standard for caring for anyones pet. The parents know best and I'd follow their rules.
