About: I have cared for family and friends pets for 18 years. From puppies and their training needs to 13 year old dogs who just want to snuggle. While not a professional trainer, I have trained many dogs on how to walk nicely on a lead and various tricks to add some fun your pet's life. My own dog is off lead trained and will stay close on walks. I work on a positive reward system of high value treats and praise, providing minor corrections to pets such as a sound or turning away to ignore unwanted behavior forcing them to thinking for my attention. I work for the school district during the year so until school is out I'm available only on Fridays after 5:30pm, all of Saturday and Sundays until 4:30pm. This, of course, will change once school is out for the summer. As a house sitter, I will stay in your home with your pets for the amount of time you'll be gone so they will always have company. Care instructions will be followed to the letter. I have my own boy and I do what I would want others to do for him. As a walker, I will go as far as your particular pet can go. If that's around the block, great! If it's further, even better! As I said I have my own dog so if you'd like your pet to have a walking buddy let me know and we can set up a meet and greet before any official walks! If you're in need of a drop in visit just for potty and playtime, that's fantastic! I'm more than happy to play with your furbaby!

“We love Tatiana - our dog has been happy and well cared for. So I am as well. I trust Tatiana with my pup, and you can too! Thanks Tatiana”

“Kyle is the best! He is so great with Gertie😊 I have such peace of mind knowing that my dog is in great hands with him. I would highly recommend him to anyone!”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters/walkers is my dog training background. I've spent over 3 years working in various kennel and training environments with all different breeds, sizes, and temperaments of dogs, learning different types of handling and training styles and a strong understanding of dog body language and behavior. Working at a dog daycare and then with service dogs, I learned about all different types of dogs and personalities, dog first aid and CPR, how to administer medications, monitor dogs health and spot possible symptoms quickly and treat them efficiently, follow complex care routines, problem solve problem behavior, and the basics of fear free handling techniques. I also help teach obedience and puppy classes at Clever Canine! In addition to the normal care your dogs receive, I can also work with your dog on simple training! I mainly use positive reinforcement and focus on rewarding for engagement. I am comfortable working on the following: - basic obedience like sit, down, stay, come, leave it, and place - other fun tricks like paw, touch, chin, roll over, play dead, spin, and speak - basic loose leash walking / heel work - crate training and potty training - jumping and mouthing - desensitizing to things like brushing or nail trims and gear like a collar or harness - cooperative care for medications and vet exams - confidence building and engagement Please message me for more information about this!!! ** I have experience caring for reptiles and amphibians, and I am open to learning how to care for other exotics! If you need care for any exotic pets please message me! Drop-ins: 30 minutes spent with your dogs Letting the dogs go potty Filling up food/water Medicating as needed For longer bookings - the first half hour is $20, every additional 30 minutes is an extra $15! Walks: 30 minutes walking around your neighborhood or a nearby location Letting your dog sniff around and stretch their legs! I prefer to walk one dog at a time vs multiple dogs at once Overnight sitting: I can sleep at your house overnight or not, it is up to you. I will provide all daily care for the dogs during the duration of the booking. Normal care includes feeding, medicating, going potty, walks, play time, snuggles, grooming, and maybe a training session or a puzzle feeder. I will follow your dog's routine as closely as I can, and I will also take a lot of pictures and send frequent updates. I am unable to provide 24/7 care, as I have my own pets at home, and other dogs to go check on. How long I leave the dog unattended to can be discussed with each client. I love doing food enrichment, like puzzles, slow feeders, lick mats, etc. since they tire dogs out so much! If you don't have any, ask me about it and I could bring some for your dog to try! Pricing on this starts at $150 a night. If you want me to focus more on training and have more of a "bootcamp" style stay in your own house with field trips outside of the house, that will be closer to $250 a night. Message me for more info on pricing as it can change based on what every family needs! I especially love working with puppies and setting up a strong foundation for them, or working with the "problem children" with some more difficult behavior... they remind me of my dog! I also love meeting more scared and shy dogs (especially chihuahuas)!! Wherever I work, I am usually the person who gets scared dogs to come out of their shell! My personal dogs are a chihuahua mix I adopted from a rescue named Cosmo, and a golden/lab mix career changed leader dog named Nova. When I got Cosmo, he was very fearful and reactive to dogs, people, and noises (would bark, lunge, growl, hair would stand up). I learned a lot about dog training and behavior modification to help work with him through his fears. Nowadays he is a certified good citizen (CGC, CGCA, CGCU) and is working on getting trick certifications! Nova was raised as a future guide dog until she was 3.5 months old and then got adopted by me. She is a very polite girl and people always comment on how well trained she is! She is also a certified good citizen (CGC, CGCA). She is currently working on becoming a certified dog actor, and learning the basics of agility! Message me to set up a free meet n greet! I can't wait to meet you and your pet. :) Dog sitting and walking is currently my main source of income. This means any appointment can easily fit into my schedule, as long as I have some time to spend with my own dogs! All of my services are offered in the client's home. I treat every client's dog like they are my own. I mainly use positive reinforcement and LIMA (least invasive, minimally aversive). I also have knowledge on fear free handling.

“Very reliable and maintains a flexible schedule.”

About: My family always had a dog, and when I moved out on my own, the first thing I did was get my own! I now have a chihuahua/papillon rescue named Jorah Borkmont, who loves to play with others. I make my own hours out of the home, so I will only be out of my home for a few hours per day, and I can return when necessary (we have a dog camera set up). My husband works at home most days, so he will also be here to care for your dog. We live in a townhouse with an unfenced yard, but do have tie-outs and plush grass to relax and potty on. There are safe sidewalks and a new neighborhood in the building process for long walks twice per day.

About: I’ve been walking dogs while playing soccer in high school and college! Whatever their pace may be, I can keep up with their energy level! I’m currently awaiting to start a new job and have lots of time on my hands! I’m available as early as 6am and as late as 6pm! I’m not looking to host any other fur babies in my home. I’m just looking to help someone who may be too busy to be active with their dogs!

“Corrine is great! Seems to really care about the animals, and was focused on making the experience easy, safe and convenient for the whole family. We will be looking to use her again!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! Throughout my 21 years, I’ve had both dogs and cats, giving me firsthand experience in their care, needs, and personalities. In addition to caring for my own pets, I’ve also had the opportunity to dog-sit and cat-sit for others, ensuring their pets are happy, safe, and well-cared for while their owners are away. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or just giving them some extra love, I take pride in making sure every pet feels comfortable and cared for in their home environment. I work remotely, which gives me a flexible schedule to provide attentive and consistent care for your pets. Whether it’s regular check-ins, playtime, feeding, or walks, I can easily adjust my day to fit their routine. Working from home also means I can provide companionship throughout the day, ensuring your pets feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. Caring for pets in a client’s home is a responsibility I take seriously. I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort by following all provided instructions carefully, maintaining a clean and secure environment, and ensuring pets feel at ease in their familiar space. I always respect the owner's home by keeping things tidy and secure, locking doors when needed, and following any household rules. When it comes to pet care, I remain attentive to behavioral cues, ensuring pets are safe, happy, and stress-free. Whether it’s sticking to a feeding schedule, administering medications, or keeping a watchful eye during outdoor time, I handle every pet with the same level of care I’d give my own. Building trust with both pets and owners is essential to me, and I’m always happy to provide updates, photos, and communication to give you peace of mind while you’re away.

“Good job!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs all my life. I grew up with two and currently have a Husky and Terrier. Friends and family over the years have relied on me to watch over their fur babies, stop in and check on them for a simple belly scratch and potty break, all the way to staying the night to give them piece of mind while they're gone. I currently work full time. M-W I am able to stop into clients homes after I get off work, after 3. Thursday and Friday I work from home so besides meetings, I am able to drop in at any time of the day. Saturdays and Sundays I am pretty flexible as well :) Each client is different but I will learn what is best for their pet when I meet them. I won't crate their pet unless asked. Going outside with pets when they're out doing their business, and keeping them on a leash to keep them safe is my standard for caring for anyones pet. The parents know best and I'd follow their rules.

About: Huge cat and dog lover! Have years of dog walking experience of every size. I have dog sat multiple times for varies amounts of time! I work full time as a dental assistant about 8 hours a day. I’m currently a part time student in college, taking classes online. My weekends are free. I will not be able to have dogs or cats stay at my home, due to family allergies. But I’m happy to stay at your house while your family member is in the comfort of their home:)

“Angela is great! Very communicative, asks lots of questions regarding pet care. She follows all instructions and is great with puppies! Would recommend her to friends.”

About: I am 33, and I have had a wide range of pets my entire life including dogs, horses, and rodents! I currently chicken-sit, dog visit, bird watch, and occasionally have cats grace me with their presence. My dog is 2.5 years old and generally goes with me to tend to the animals, but I can leave her at home if that is a deal breaker! I live my life so Lady can have a very full one. We go on walks, hikes, or runs every day in any type of weather (Thanks to Michigan). My schedule is all over the place but it allows for me to be flexible. Let me know if I can help! I currently work 30-35 hours a week during the summer and I have winter months off. My summer work generally starts around 3:00 and goes until 10 so I have my mornings and early afternoons free. I treat everyone's house like my own! Trust and respect make up the foundation of my life and line of work. These pets are my family and will be treated as such -if you like your family ;)

“Sadie has taken care of our dogs many times over the past two years. She has been flexible and able to take care of the dogs while we are either out of town on vacation or just for an evening out. We have three dogs, one of which is a puppy and Sadie was so helpful in continuing our potty training while we were out for a day trip. She is dependable and trustworthy. We have known her for the past two years and would recommend her for any type of pet care. She is communicative and ensures that we have regular updates while we are gone and asks any questions that she needs answered. One of our dogs has health issues and she has been great at keeping up with his medications while we are gone. She is able to walk them together and we have never had any issues with her and her care. Highly recommend her for any pet care, she has primarily stayed at our house to keep our dogs in the comfort of their home.”
