About: I have been taking care of dogs all my life. I grew up with two and currently have a Husky and Terrier. On the days I am in the office (Typically M-W) I will only be available for drop ins/walks after 2pm. I can do early mornings or after 2pm. When I am WFH, I am available all day. Friends and family over the years have relied on me to watch over their fur babies, stop in and check on them for a simple belly scratch and potty break, all the way to staying the night to give them piece of mind while they're gone. I currently work full time. M-W I am able to stop into clients homes after I get off work, after 3. Thursday and Friday I work from home so besides meetings, I am able to drop in at any time of the day. Saturdays and Sundays I am pretty flexible as well :) Each client is different but I will learn what is best for their pet when I meet them. I won't crate their pet unless asked. Going outside with pets when they're out doing their business, and keeping them on a leash to keep them safe is my standard for caring for anyones pet. The parents know best and I'd follow their rules.

About: I’ve taken care of family pets and my neighbors pets since I was 16. I’ve been a pet parent myself for over 10 years now. I know how important your pets safety/happiness/and comfort is. I take watching your pet extremely serious, my philosophy with Rover is to treat your pet(s) like I do my own. I work a low pressure job from home so I’m home 24/7. This means I’m able to be around your pet and give them all my attention everyday. Most importantly that gives me the freedom to focus on the well being and comfort of your pet. About my home: - very spacious ranch style home. - no stairs, plenty of room for your pet to run around. • VERY LARGE fenced in yard. - I allow my dog Leo to spend as much time as he wants outside. Sun bathing and fetch are his favorite. •I live in a large safe neighborhood. -No major roads and safe environment. Walks are a must! I will treat your pet like they’re my own.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats since I was a little girl. I currently don’t have any pets of my own and also have a lot of extra time on my hands, which makes me a perfect candidate for your next pet sitter! I’m currently between jobs so I have plenty of time for walks, drop ins, belly rubs, scratches, playtime, feedings, and can even board your animal at my house if needed! I have a large fenced in yard for any animals requiring boarding. I keep my eyes on the animals at all times while outside to make sure they’re safe, but can easily crate your dog if preferred. I am equipped for drop in visits or longer extended visits too. I currently have no pets of my own in my house.

About: After spending 15 wonderful years taking care of my beagle Bailey, I know how important it is to find someone who will love and care for your dog as much as you do. I’m currently earning my Master’s degree online in Mental Health Counseling while completing clinical work, which gives me a flexible schedule throughout the week. Caring for animals has always been something I genuinely enjoy, and I’m able to dedicate quality time to walks, drop-in visits, playtime, feeding routines, and companionship. I’m reliable, organized, and committed to making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I live in an apartment community with a dedicated dog park just a short walk from my home, providing plenty of opportunities for exercise and enrichment. I also have access to my mother’s home, which features a large fenced yard and pool area with no resident pets, offering additional space for supervised outdoor play if appropriate. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, medications, routines, and preferences to ensure every pet receives personalized care and attention.

About: Hi! I’m Brooke, a proud cat and dog mom with over 5 years of personal pet care experience, plus more than a year of professional dog sitting. I’ve personally trained and raised two German Shepherds — so I’m no stranger to handling energetic, intelligent, or challenging breeds, and I understand the importance of reading body language, managing behavior, and creating a safe, loving environment. I’m known for being reliable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about animals. Whether it’s playtime, feeding, medication, or just companionship, I’m dedicated to making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and loved while their family is away. As of September 9th, I will be in school Wednesday–Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Pets in my care may have some alone time during those hours, but I always make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and have everything they need before I leave. Outside of school hours, I’m fully available for walks, drop-ins, playtime, and overnights! • Calm, patient handling, especially with nervous or excitable pets • Experience with basic training and reinforcement • Detailed updates if you want to hear how your fur baby is doing •Respectful, tidy care in your home

About: I have always known the love of having a pet. Whether that was hamsters, reptiles, cats, dogs, and even hermit crabs. I have found love for each individual species, including snakes! I have been training my previous dog since I was 15 and was able to teach her to sit, shake, and release. I currently have a senior cat who is prone to seizures and is partially blind and deaf. I have been caring for him for 6 years now and he is my everything. I am currently pursuing my masters degree and am interning as well so my schedule can be tight sometimes! I will communicate with you if there are any scheduling conflicts. I can shift around my schedule where needed so let's talk more about what you need and we can work through it together to make sure your pet gets the best care possible! I can care for your best friend in whatever is best suited their needs. For my cat, Peanut, he receives oral liquid medication 3x a day at strict times. For my roommates cat who is also a senior, Fig, she receives a pill medication that is taken orally. I have experience in giving medication to animals. If an animal needs any special care, I will pay close attention to the instructions to make sure they receive the best care possible.

About: My family always had a dog, and when I moved out on my own, the first thing I did was get my own! I now have a chihuahua/papillon rescue named Jorah Borkmont, who loves to play with others. I make my own hours out of the home, so I will only be out of my home for a few hours per day, and I can return when necessary (we have a dog camera set up). My husband works at home most days, so he will also be here to care for your dog. We live in a townhouse with an unfenced yard, but do have tie-outs and plush grass to relax and potty on. There are safe sidewalks and a new neighborhood in the building process for long walks twice per day.

We’ve had such a great experience with Anna! She’s taken care of our dog multiple times now, and each time she’s been incredibly reliable, communicative, and an absolute joy to work with. Our dog clearly loves her, and we always feel confident knowing he’s in good hands. Most recently, she reached out ahead of time to check in about the weather—specifically the rain and poor air quality—and offered to do a quick bathroom break with indoor playtime instead of a full walk. We really appreciated her thoughtfulness and flexibility, and it’s clear she genuinely cares about the dogs she walks. Highly recommend!

Felisha is an absolute GEM 💎 she took such great care of our baby boy Maverick while my Aunt was watching him for us! I believe Maverick even walked better for Felisha then he does for my husband and I 😂 My Aunt couldn’t say enough great things about Felisha and stated ANYONE in the area that needed some help with their pup 🐶 should use her! Thank you so much Felisha we will definitely use you again!

  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 98% can help with daily exercise

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
