Jessica was also an excellent communicator throughout the weekend. She shared thoughtful updates and just the right number of photos, giving us peace of mind without overwhelming us. About: I have taken care of dogs, cats, birds, hermit crabs, guinea pigs, you name it I’ve taken care of it. I love animals so much and think that every animal on earth deserves love and care. It was really hard to leave him, especially with his morning and evening meds and his full-on obsession with his ball. She was incredibly consistent and detail-oriented, which mattered a lot to me. I never had to wonder how things were going—she kept me updated with photos, quick responses to texts, and just the right amount of communication to put me at ease. She walked him, played with him (ball included, of course), and genuinely paid attention to what he needs. And when we got home, the house was exactly how we left it. I work in Bloomfield Hills so if you are in that area I can run over to your house on my lunch hour and let your dogs out. I live in Clarkston so I can stop off at your house on my way to or from work and let your dogs out/feed them etc.... I can go to your house after work and let your dogs out and I can even stay at your house for a short time or a long time or over a long weekend (I don't work Fridays). I routinely house-sit for someone who has one dog and MANY cats inside the house and outside, duties included feeding ferals as well as the local wildlife... racoons, deer, birds, turkeys etc. I house-sit for someone who has 6 dogs. Kristy was good with all the critters and following directions, some that were complex and had to be done on a timed basis. Kevin in high maintenence as is Gordie with his need for frequent diaper changes. All were in good spirits when we arrived home. I'm sure Happy, Kevin and Gordie were given all kinds of attention. I hope Kristy will come again to care for our crew.
This was our first time using Brooke to watch both our dog and cat in our home. Unfortunately, the day before we were leaving, the dog became sick. We had to get an urgent care appointment the morning of our departure. Needless to say, I was very anxious leaving him with someone I’d just met, and he didn’t know. He was put on 5 different medications and ointments, so I contacted Brooke. She assured me that she had no problem handling the treatments. For the next week, she checked in daily, and taking care of all of our pets needs. I returned to a spotless home and two healthy fur babies! Brooke is excellent! I would confidently recommend her!
