“Christina is excellent. We were nervous about hiring someone outside of our friend/family circle to care for our two dogs and two cats. And for an extended period of time: 16 days. And during Christmas and New Years - Christina was amazing. She is responsible and caring and reliable. We were able to meet a couple times before the scheduled date to go over things and that helped not only provide her with the information to care for them but it also helped me feel comfortable to know she was willing to meet and took the responsibility seriously. My animals were all well cared for. They were happy and content when we got back even though they missed us. We are all so thankful for her care and attention and dedication to the job and our animals. Highly recommend.”

“Pavlina was wonderful with our 75 pound retriever and house sitting as well, thru a week long stay and thru a winter storm. We were relieved to see great pictures of Tock resting his head on Pavlina, a testament to her being a “dog person”.”

“Alicia was beyond fantastic! 20 out of 10! My cat was happy, relaxed and looked after. Alicia played with him, spent some quality time and made sure his routine was not interrupted. I especially enjoyed the daily photos and short videos of my cat! I m definitely rebooking her for my next trips :) thank you, Alicia!”

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Samantha. This was a first time home sitting stay for 10 days and she was fantastic with her patience with Daisy and left my house immaculate!! She and Daisy bonded and I so appreciate her great care. Highly recommend!!!”

“We have loved having Tamryn stay with Layla!! She is so great with dogs, genuine & communicative and sent us many photo update. She takes great care of our home as well! We highly recommend hiring Tamryn 🤗”

“If you give dogs treats after they go outside, they will be much more interested in doing so in the first place. Giving them beforehand is not a proper way to train a dog. Thank you for your help!!”

“Mackenzie was communicative and did a great job watching our cat! She left our home in great condition as well. We knew that taffy was in good hands while we were away!”

“Lauren was wonderful with my little Oliver. She was prompt, communicated well, kept me updated, gave medication, left house clean and neat and followed directions. I will definitely call Lauren again. An absolute joy to deal with.”
“Jordan was a delightful sitter for our three dogs. She was thoughtful about the information and instructions she needed to provide excellent care. She was a calm and reassuring presence for the dogs and for me. I fully expect to request her assistance in the future”

“We booked Heather last minute for a long stay and it worked out great. She was awesome to work with and took great care of our house and pup. Hunter is a senior dog that needs medications. Heather was able to do that with no issue. We highly recommend her, and plan on using her again soon!”

About: I have taught elementary school for the past 30 years. I absolutely loved teaching, but I am ready to try something new. I love dogs. I have a rescue dog that is a Corgi-mix. He is seven years old. We go on walks most days. Charlie loves to go on walks. He also enjoys car rides. At home, Charlie usually follows me from room to room. My sister has a chocolate lab. I took care of her dog when she was away. Ever since then, her dog is always super excited when I come over. She always runs to me. I love to go on walks and I enjoy spending time with dogs. I have watched Puppies to older dogs and enjoy them all. Now that I am not working full time, I am free to spend more time doing what I love. If you work long hours, I would be happy to walk your dog every day. I have special discount pricing for daily care. I am currently working part-time, so I'll have plenty of time to play with your dog. I also love to go on walks. I am available for boarding on the weekends and some weekdays. I am home on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I have a fenced in yard and one dog. My dog loves to go on walks. Sometimes I put my dog in the crate when I leave. I can easily crate your dog if needed.
About: Hello! I’m Grace aka the dog whisperer 😊 Caring for dogs is truly my passion, both at home and professionally. I have two dogs of my own, one who is two years old and one who is eleven, so I’m very familiar with the different needs, energy levels, temperaments, and care styles that come with both puppies/young adults and senior dogs. Aside from that, I have a rescue dog of my own who is two years old. I currently work as a canine care specialist and kennel attendant, where I care for dogs every day of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. From very small dogs to large breeds like Great Danes and Great Pyrenees, I’m comfortable handling a wide range of needs. My responsibilities include feeding, potty breaks, safe socialization, and making sure each dog is comfortable, secure, and well cared for. I approach every dog with patience, compassion, and attentiveness, and I always treat them as if they were my own. My goal is to provide loving, reliable care that helps both pets and owners feel at ease. Pet care is already a part of my everyday routine, both personally and professionally. I work in the pet care field during the week, so caring for animals is something I do daily and genuinely enjoy. At this time, my availability is primarily on weekends, which are generally open unless I communicate otherwise in advance. I’m very upfront about my schedule and always make sure expectations are clear so pets receive consistent, attentive care. Because pet care is already a major part of my life, I’m comfortable building it into my routine and giving each dog the time, patience, and attention they deserve. Safety, trust, and comfort are always my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for a pet in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on creating a calm, loving, and secure environment. Exercise and playtime are a big part of my approach to care. I make sure each dog gets appropriate physical activity and mental stimulation based on their age, energy level, and routine. Along with plenty of play and affection, I stay consistent with the basics, regular feeding, fresh water at all times, and close attention to each pet’s needs and behavior. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with complete respect. I follow all instructions carefully, maintain routines, and make sure the home is left just as it was found. I believe trust is earned through reliability, communication, and genuine care, and I always strive to make both pets and owners feel comfortable and at ease.
“Kristy is always calm and welcoming to our somewhat cautious dog. He warms up to her quickly and becomes her best friend. I felt very comfortable having Kristy watch our pets.”

“Tony was an excellent dog sitter He communicated very well and went out of his way to make my dog feel comfortable and in his normal routine I would definitely use Tony again in the future”

“Anna was absolutely wonderful with our two dogs and our home! She kept us in the loop with great communication, sent us adorable pictures, and took them on regular walks. Plus, she was so flexible when we had to cut our trip short. I can’t recommend Anna enough—she’s the best!”

Sylvan Lake pet parents share their Rover experiences
Autumn did a great job with both dogs for the week we were gone. The dogs were both happy and the house very tidy and clean. She gave good updates and pictures during the week. I am looking forward to having her stay with the dogs again. We have a lab and a senior 18 year old Pomeranian mix. She was able to take of both of them and give the lab walks daily. I highly recommend her!
